Please note that continuing to use a VPN or similar after the hold is removed will cause it to return and may put your account at risk of a permanent ban.

Got this from their FAQ. Safe to say we may not receive surveys on that account again.

It was not on hold, and I was able to verify my email and filled 70% of my about you. Yet, not on hold, I then tried several UK numbers I got online but all were either used or not correct. After numerous attempts, I noticed the account became "on hold". Please guys what did o do wrong?

I have obtained my Africard since like over 3 weeks now and have not been able to verify my PayPal*l. After so many failed attempts which led to me creating and deleting and repeating sane process over and over again, cos I had thought at some point that the issue must be with how I created the account, maybe I didn't follow the guide well enough. But I was wrong.

Finally I saw SolomonGrundy's advice, and topped up my account balance above 1500 to like 2k plus. And booom the stupid thing just accepted the card.

So for those who were facing similar issues with their Africard getting declined during verification. Na yua barance no leach. Top it up and try again.

Google voice would serve you better for this purpose. You can use the Google voice number area code to generate an address. Although you'll need a USA number for Google Voice.

I'll be sharing a few tips for those with their accounts on hold which may be due to a number of reasons you have to look out for before registration.

1. VPN.
Weak or blacklisted IPs, or VPN service changing details during registration. To solve this, check your VPN status on whoer.net.
On whoer, a disguise of 80-90% should work. If below this range, check under, there is a list of solutions such as changing your phone time, language settings and disabling 'Web RTC' to improve that or purchasing a premium service.

Also, look out for 'DNS' ' Blacklisted' 'Proxy server's' and 'Anonymizer.' An all green means you're good to go.

2. SAVED CACHE/COOKIES.
Always clear your browser cache or cookies before any new registration.

3. REPEATED EMAIL ADDRESS/DETAILS.
Use fresh Gmail address and details before registration. Copy the verification link from Gmail inbox into a secure browser, with your VPN turned on and verify.
Avoid verification inside the Gmail app Inbuilt browser. E get why!
Also your choice of browser matters. Maybe Kiwi/Tor/Rocket.

After verification. Check your 'Account status' if it's not 'On hold,'

Truth be told, like all legit businesses, you have to spend. Paid VPN/Legit Number/PayPal. No free lunch.

You have to learn alot of new information as quickly as possible.
