Idboyostic: Good morning Boss, thanks for stepping in.. the issue has been resolved. I had to fix the glass. and fortunately client is an understanding person, i fixed the glass and explained things to him and he accepted the phone. It sucks tho, I had to repair the same phone i had asked him (ohiomoba5) if it has been opened or repaired before.. he covered the cost of the glass and I covered the repair cost. well sha, sometimes things don't always go the way you had planed it.. it's business. we can't win all the time. Sometimes you lose, sometimes you win, but every time you learn.. Our prayers should be that our wins should be more than our loses. God bless y'all  5 Likes |

Ohiomoba5: This is exactly what I'm saying, you're not moved ?? Even when you know you're wrong ?? Well Sha, you've just showcased your true colors.. if you'll be having any dealings with this man now or in the near future please deal with caution to avoid stories that touch. That's all I can say. I don't want a refund anymore.. just cover the cost of the camera glass just as the others have suggested. I'm tired of going back and forth with you. I'll try to talk to client. Thank God say na so e reach. There's always a lesson to be learned in every situation. |

OgogoroFreak: Boss, I wasn't even considering anything like him issuing me a refund when I told him about the nick, My suggestion was that he replaces the device. He was the same person who told me to tell my client to come see the phone first before we take any further step. Client came and inspected, he said this is not what he was expecting. I had to contact ohiomoba5, as soon as i told him client didn't accept the phone he started to point all fingers at the driver. He said he wouldn't take any responsibility whatsoever.. tbh that's crap, this man is dubious. This is not the first nor Will it be the last time I'll be buying anything from nairaland. I've had similar issues with sellers here. But it got resolved quickly without any need for dispute. 1: because of their good customer relation and 2: because they know how to do what's right. But this man right here ohiomoba5 hmm.. |

Ohiomoba5: You're looking for every possible way to to counter the fact that you are wrong. No single sign of remorse. If you Want I can start posting screenshots of how you kept reassuring me that the phone is mint. I was even trying to reason with you after the deal went wrong, but you kept on pointing all fingers to the driver. That's not how to do business Bros. Your customer relation is zero. Ohiomoba5: There is a dent on the left edge, but it's little and insignificant(but even so it shouldn't be found on a device that is described as mint) .. there is also a line scratch on the screen, and scratches at the back. But I never mentioned any of this, my main concern was the Nick on the camera glass and you still chose not to take any responsibility. You're a very dubious man. Better do the needful before the matter escalates.. I'll attach pictures of the little dents on the bottom edge, the scratches on the screen and the back

Me, I don't want any wahala sha. Someone asked me to help him get him a mint iphone xr. I contacted ohiomoba5 , and asked questions regarding the phone. I repeatedly asked him if the phone is mint.. he kept on reassuring me that it is mint(that it's more like brand new self) I told my client about the deal.. he said as long as it's mint then okay (most people here really don't know what a mint device actually is) mint isn't the same as clean. A mint phone should be free from any defects or dents. This same phone also have a slight dent at the bottom edge but I considered it insignificant. My main concern was the Nick on the camera glass. Buyer said he won't accept it(I don't blame him, cuz this wasn't what he was expecting) the phone didn't come as discribed. I was even trying to reason with him so he can replace the phone with another one instead of a refund. But he kept on saying he won't take any responsibility. That I should go ahead and do anything I want to do(If this isn't the definition of a dubious person then I don't know what is)

Good day house.. I contacted ohiomoba5 yesterday for an iphone xr that he claimed was in mint condition.. told him I was in benin and we agreed on waybill... I even made payment to him without the use of an escrow(based on trust).. i repeatedly asked him if the phone was in mint condition before making payment, and he reassured me that the phone was in perfect condition.. he went ahead to waybill the phone early this morning.. the driver called me this afternoon, that I should come and pick up my item, as soon as I picked up the phone I told him(ohiomoba5).. got home and inspected the phone only to see that the phone has a Nick on the camera glass (of which he never mentioned) i contacted him immediately, and told him.. sent him pictures of the Nick, and he said I should allow my client see the phone first that he might not care about the Nick.. client came to inspect the phone and he said he can't accept it like that(item was not as described) I went ahead to tell ohiomoba5, at this point he started to put all the blame on the driver ( saying the phone didn't leave Lagos with a crack) that the driver must've dropped it... He has suddenly decided to not take any responsibility.. and point all fingers to the driver. this guy is a very dubious person, I highly disrecommend him.. Deal with him at your own risk.. even after trusting him (dealing without an escrow)..ohiomoba5 better do the needful, me I can't talk too much.
