What are the frivolities?

He doesn't need money to wait for his flight in the VIP lounge but he chose not to.

He doesn't need money to have dss and security details around him because he is entitled to it for free as a former governor.

So what frivolities are you talking about?

Who mentioned all that you just said that he needs money for all that and how does all that amount to frivolities, but he needs money to hire a private jet the way your mind works, I believe backwards

a two term house of assembly member and speaker, a two term governor of rivers, a two time apc campaign director, a two term minister of transport and you believe he can't afford opulence just because he contested to be an aspirant not even the main election itself.

What he is entitled to as a former gov alone can take him round the world, even in Nigeria as a former governor he is still entitled to securtiy details and all of that.

We are too gullible ans easily deceived in this country, when electioneering time comes again now these are the pictures they will be using to deceive us that they also share part of the sufferings with us.

Money don finish leave all this two time this and that, someone bribing in dollars to delegates, he converted all the two time this and that for the primaries, with all the two time this and that was he worth 500bn, I don't think so, he may not be as broke as you are but he can't afford all the frivolities again

he should declare them enemies of the state stating that they're disturbing public peace and go after them in full force.
he should set up a local vigilantees armed to teeth to combat crime in the state and use them against these wike criminals just like Umahi and Uzodinma used ebubeagu against their opponents.
he should kill and burn their houses for enabling terrorism in the state.

No need for that, you don't hit a man already on the ground, it's a lost battle let them go lick their wounds, most likely some of them will come back to swear alligence to Fubara, people like Chidi Lloyd serial betrayer will join Fubara soon

I've always admired the resilience of the igbos.

A group of people that were able to rebuild their lives and lands after a devastating Civil War. Today,u still see them topping charts as if nothing happened.
Whereas, the region that pride itself to have produced the highest number of head of state/president still remain the most economically backward, most poverty stricken, and now, educationally disadvantaged region..

Chai, truly, the north and the south nor get anything in common at all..

Thats why the other regions dont like them especially the North and west, the East is far better than all other western states except lagos and all other Northern states, if not for the war they would have gonbe very far in terms of development, that is why they need to forget the struggle for being the president and develop their region, with all the presidency coming from the north it still has not helped the north in terms of develpment.

Akpabio Backs Grazing Ban: “Cows Are Not Citizens.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio firmly stated that cows are not Nigerian citizens, countering northern senators’ opposition to banning open grazing. The bill to ban open grazing, proposed by Senator Titus Zam, passed its second reading. Zam argued that the bill would resolve the violent clashes between farmers and herders by establishing ranches and adopting modern livestock practices. Northern senators, however, contended that such a ban infringes on herders’ rights. Despite their opposition, the bill was supported by many and passed after a voice vote, with Akpabio emphasizing that cows do not have constitutional rights in Nigeria.

You didn't learn any lesson about betrayal.

What I learned from this crisis :

1. The fact that someone answers "sir" and "yes sir" to everything you say when you are above him doesn't mean he's loyal to you.

What do you call betrayal ? So if Wike assisted you to become a Governor, after then he asked you to kill your father so you will do that because you dont want to be seen as a betrayer, but what Wike was asking for was far more than that 14bn and security votes will render the governor useless and not be able to meet his obligations which would lead to multiple deaths, because you will not be able to pay workers and pensioners.

Newsline09:
Breaking: Amaka Obi "SACKED" by Governor Soludo

By: Ebuka Asogwa| Awka

In a dramatic turn of events, Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has wielded the axe on Mrs. Amaka Obi, the transition Chairman of Idemmili South Local Government Area and other of her colleagues. This was contained in a letter signed by Hon. Tony-Collins Nwabunwanne, the Commissioner of Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, dated 17th May, 2024 and was sighted by our correspondent.

The governor's directive, instructing all 21 local government transition chairmen to step down from their positions by Monday, 20th May 2024, was issued following one Mrs. Amaka Obi's resistance to allowing the conduct of a free and fair mock election for her successor as directed by the Governor. Amaka Obi's antics and defiance were to impose herself on the people inspite the stance of key stakeholders from the towns in Idemmili South on a power shift away from Awka-Etiti, which has monopolized the Chairmanship position of the local government for eight (cool uninterrupted years.

Amidst mounting pressure from various quarters, including youth, women, and other interest groups, Mrs. Amaka Obi persisted in her defiance, even going as far as allegedly employing thugs to disrupt the process. Her unilateral declaration of victory further aggravated tensions, disregarding the wishes of both the APGA party and key stakeholders.

With the political atmosphere in Idemmili South reaching boiling point, Governor Soludo has taken decisive action, relieving Mrs. Amaka Obi of her duties and mandating her to hand over to the Head of Service of the local government council by the stipulated date of Monday, 20th May 2024.

The official communication, titled "EXPIRATION OF TENURE AND HANDOVER TO HEADS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION (HsLGA)," marks the end of Mrs. Amaka Obi's tenure, signaling a significant progress in the politics of Idemmili South.

The letter from the ministry of Chieftaincy and Community Affairs reads:
"Following the expiration of your tenure as Transition Committee Chairman, you are hereby directed to handover the affairs of your Local Government Council to the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), in your respective Local Government Councils.

2. This directive takes effect from Monday, 20th day of May, 2024.

3. Thank you for your service to the state.

This is how SIM would fire those Rivers LGA chairmen by 18th of June 2024

Politics / Re: Tinubu Not Bothered About Your Plot, Games – Onanuga To Atiku, Obi by gare(f): 9:39am On May 19
Bobloco:
The presidency has said President Bola Tinubu is not bothered about the game the 2023 presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi are playing.

Tinubu’s Special Adviser on information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said the President was focused on fixing the country’s economy and not the game Atiku and Obi are playing.

Onanuga spoke against the backdrop of a possible merger between Atiku and Obi.

Last week, Obi had met with Atiku, former Senate President Bukola Saraki and a PDP chieftain, Sule Lamido.

Speaking with BBC Hausa, Atiku had hinted on stepping down for the former Anambra State governor during the 2027 presidential election.

However, speaking on Saturday in Abuja, Onanuga said: “We are only surprised that they are plotting just one year after an election they lost. They are still behaving like sore losers.

“We are not bothered by the games they are playing, as they are revealing their mindset. They are mere politicians who only think about the next election.

“President Tinubu is a true statesman who is concerned about fulfilling his promises to Nigerians.

“At the moment, he is very busy resetting the economy of our country for the better, laying the foundation that ought to have been laid decades ago.”

https://dailypost.ng/2024/05/19/tinubu-not-bothered-about-your-plot-games-presidency-to-atiku-obi/

Because they are planning to rig, because no sensible person would vote him back to aso rock, would they vote a man that made so much hardship in the country
