Just gave the guy the benefit of doubt whether he has got something to offer others and not particularly our thread only to realise that he was empty. I think we've passed the msg across to him that only serious minded persons are on this thread. QED.

Fellow hopefuls, the website referred to by Oayombo is even nothing other than another jobsite in the making. After the wasted sermon, i thought he was offering something tangible for people to benefit from. I'm sure he can not even help himself yet he claims to earns six digits income on regular basis.

We are still waiting earnestly. Hopefully, it is not gonna be a mirage after all. God is still on the throne.

Fellow hopefuls, just put a call to one of the guys that handled the recruitment/chat processes to inquire about the latest position with respect to Letters of Appointment and he said very soon the letters will start rolling out with a definate assurance that it will not exceed this year. So, lets keep the hope alive. It's gonna be a good song before 2012 (Amen).

@ Broncop, I say a BIG Amen to your update. I know what is mine shall fully be mine. Nothing can take it away from me. We will all smile when they start rolling out the Letters of Appointment come November ending.

I dont see this job coming sooner than we all expect. There are lots of uncertainties surrounding it. This is disheartening!

@ Notfree, thank you for the information after a long silence. At least we have something to be cheerful and hopeful about. But my worry from your humble information is that all the necessary renovations should have been carried out before now so as to make the recruitment process smooth. I wonder when all these would be taken care of before the letters of Appointment are rolled out to successful candidates. If the offices are not ready yet, i wonder how on earth the proposed workforce would work. May God help us.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NSITF Interview In August by garnetty(m): 1:02pm On Oct 20, 2011
@ All in the house, One is not even sure of the criteria for selection eventually. Am still skeptical whether the 'chat' we had alone will be conclusive of the process or they are going to organise another set of interviews which could span eternity to conclude before formal appointment letters would be dispatched to successful candidates. I just hope they are sincere and true to their recruitment drive. May God help us all. I will surely make the list by HIS grace.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NSITF Interview In August by garnetty(m): 3:55pm On Oct 14, 2011
@ Reinedamse, Qui sera sera indeed! I hope we don't wait until the stupid and corrupt politicians hijack the process and give all the slots to their children and other well wishers. Nigeria we hail thee.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NSITF Interview In August by garnetty(m): 11:28am On Oct 13, 2011
This country sucks. How can a recruitment process take eternity to complete and nobody is even saying anything. May God help us.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NSITF Interview In August by garnetty(m): 6:57pm On Oct 04, 2011
@ danbatyagi, Everything seems to be in limbo. Still wondering why recruitment processes in Nigeria takes eternity before they are concluded and always with annoying politics. Only God knows what is currently going underground. What will be will definitely be. Let's be hopeful.
@ Tczar, Hope you've not been kidnapped? What exactly is your problem?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NSITF Interview In August by garnetty(m): 5:29pm On Sep 21, 2011
@ Lilodez, I had posted the question in the past but no forumite seemed to be in-tune with the Civil Service salary structure with respect to NSITF to educate us. Hope someone can respond to this.
Properties / Re: My Landlord Insist I Pay Full Year Rent Or Pack Out In Lagos by garnetty(m): 9:11am On Sep 19, 2011
@ Chucks01, The new Lagos tenancy Bill has been signed into law and therefore is currently operational. Your best possible step towards getting a redress before you are hurriedly booted out by your landlord is to contact a Lawyer who can write to him to rescind his proposed action or get prosecuted. When this fail (which is most likely), the Lawyer could file necessary court processes at the Rent Tribunal to enforce the law and ultimately protect your right under the law. Goodluck!

Are these latest invites for graduate trainees or they are still calling the experienced candidates for chats? Clarify please.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NSITF Interview In August by garnetty(m): 1:46pm On Sep 06, 2011
NSITF Update (Experienced Hires): I made a call to one of their reps. today and he said hopefully before the end of the month concrete facts would have emerged in respect of the recruitment exercise i.e. Mails or text messages to successful candidates. So let's keep our fingers crossed. All is well.
Family / Re: Best City To Raise A Family In Nigeria by garnetty(m): 10:58am On Sep 04, 2011
Aside from the regrettable security situations in some part of the country, raising a family anywhere depends largely on your social status i.e. Good job, good environment, access to basic infrastructures including good school and affordable health services. What ultimately makes your family begins with you i.e. Good morals, discipline, quality time around your kids and adherence to the tenets of your religion. All these have a rub-off effects on the upbringing of your family. The choice is largely yours. The society or the environment you find yourself is only there to shapen it for good or bad.  he society or the environment you find yourself is only there to shapen it for good or bad.

This is crap. How do you get carried away with a faceless love for 5 whole years only to wake up suddenly to discover is all nightmare? You need a psychiatric test.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NSITF Interview In August by garnetty(m): 4:09am On Aug 25, 2011
Just my thought, Can anybody especially the experienced hires who have had their interviews share with the forum any available update or any likely development on the recruitment coming very soon. Thank you and waiting earnestly.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NSITF Interview In August by garnetty(m): 5:05am On Aug 06, 2011
@ Edokpia, The pleasure is mine. We shall all get there.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NSITF Interview In August by garnetty(m): 8:31pm On Aug 05, 2011
@ Edokpia and fellow NLders, We were called in fours i.e. 4 candidates, to face four-man panel of interviewers, each responsible for your discipline. Your credentials are checked and in the process you are asked few questions about your discipline and why do you want to leave your present place of job etc. Then the bond copies of your resume and CV are retained and therefrom you are asked to go. So it's not just dumping of copies of credentials and you are asked to leave.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NSITF Interview In August by garnetty(m): 4:04pm On Aug 05, 2011

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NSITF Interview In August by garnetty(m): 4:11pm On Aug 02, 2011
I think those that applied for experienced positions are being invited for a chat while entry level positions will go through the aptitude test stage first then interview as the case may be.
Note, I am just basing my opinion on the invitation trends I have folloewed both from this forum and another job forum as it relates to NSITF

@ Nosyke, pls do you have an idea of the pay package for the Experienced Hires bearing in mind that this parastatal is a FG parastatal? Thanks.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NSITF Interview In August by garnetty(m): 4:06pm On Aug 02, 2011
I think the invites are divided into 2 categories i.e. Entry level and Experienced hires. The entry level candidates are billed to take the regular test while the Experienced once are billed to come for chats. Mine is 5th August in Lagos. Pls for those with Chat invitations and aware of what we may likely face during the chat should kindly share what the Chat will look like. Thank you in advance.
Politics / Re: Breaking News: Pst. Bakare's House On Fire by garnetty(m): 7:33am On Apr 23, 2011
Perhaps God initially warned him to restrain from going into politics but turned deaf ears. I guess it's pay back time. May God have mercy.

This is going to be an effort in futility. You should rather sympathize with the families of the injured and the dead.
