Thanks for the encouragement rainazoe and Walmun. I wrote ACCRA and they responded. Application approved and my passport is ready for pick up.

No harm writing to Accra and attaching evidence supporting your request so that they fast track. I don't know their email sha

Thanks Walmun

What was their speed of response like?

Sent them an email on Wednesday, I'm yet to receive a reply.

Walmun:
Write and request for your passport. I did that and was successful. All the best!!

Thanks rainazoe

You are right, there's no harm writing.

I'll send an email to them and see how it goes.

Good day everyone
Been following this thread ever since I got my PPR a few weeks ago.

It has been a very very looooong read from page 1 and it's well worth it.
Thanks to @Salford blackbuddy bsbabe maternal glittering star et al., God bless you plenty.

I'm presently on page 405 but had to interrupt my read to ask a question. I'm in a bit of a predicament and I hope someone here can advise me.

My passport was transmitted to vfs Accra on the 15th of this month, however I received news on Monday that I was successful in a conference travel Grant I applied for.
The thing is, the conference will be taking place in Austria and I have about 2weeks to submit my application for a Visa as the conference starts on the 2nd week of November.

What could I possibly do now,? My CIC account has not been approved and so my passport is no where near coming back to me.
Do I write to AVO to withdraw my passport temporarily? and what implications could doing this have on my application?

Has anyone here been I a similar situation or know someone who has. Please, somebody help.

Thanks

Hi Stonecoldcafe

There's no vfs office in my state and I would like to send my passport by mail via UPS.

Did you submit your passport via courier? if yes, please guide me on the steps you took. I've read on their website that it's possible but I'm hoping to get real life experiences on the exact thing to do. Please help.

Thanksss

PPR!!! PPR!! PPR!!!

Silent reader coming through.........

Kimon.... Kimon.... kimon... I have screamed, danced danced danced all over the place, Still in shock.... This God is toooooooo goooooood oooo

Yelzzz Yelzzzzz.

So I found this thread after my application was submitted. I come here time and time again to read all the wonderful PPR stories. I got so much joy reading them, so, I am here to share mine and I hope it encourages others as well.

Decision to travel: December 2017
Started ECA with IQAS January this year
Hubby ECA started sometime in March (NASU strike things)

IELTS was booked for April so we started preparations early.

In May our IELTS results arrived.. God favoured us with just what we needed
Moi: LRWS: 8.5,8.5,7,8
Hubbs: 9,9,6.5,7.5
My ECA also arrived early May
Hubby's ECA yet to arrive.

And so, without further ado we dived into the pool on the 21st of May

ITA : 23rd May

Hubby's ECA arrived in June so we included it in the application. CRS score increased by 10 points (Explained in LOE)

AOR: 9th July
MEP/IP1: 25th July
IP2: 6th Oct
PPR: Dated 9th OCT but arrived on the 10th.

Something else I should mention.
I read somewhere that if we include NYSC as time with the "Government" under personal history, it could result in extensive security screening, well I guess that did not apply to me... I was busy getting myself worked up for nothing.

So this is it! Join me to rejoice people. I pray that each and everyone of us arrived at Canny Land in no distant time.

Let me also thank the amazing individual(s) who selflessly put up this platform. God bless you abundantly.

Hello all,

Congratulations to all who have received PPR and ITA.

To those who have obtained PPR or COPR did filling in NYSC experience as government negatively impact your application?
