In my application I stated that I have a family in the UK. But I also stated I would be renting a place to stay. I ticked I would not be staying with family. If I decide to stay with the family I stated on my application, for my quarantine, would this be an issue? Any advise from someone with same experience would be appreciated.

I clicked on start new application and I used the same email/password for my visa application without any problem. Done with the form filling now.

Let us know how it goes; noticed the same thing when I initially located and bookmarked the form; but I'm not travelling till next few days so haven't attempted to complete the form.

My mum is flying back to the UK this weekend using Virgin Atlantic.
I'll post on what her experience using VA in this Covid-19 period is when she arrives.

I have not heard any testimony of anyone that fly Virgin Atlantic to London recently.

Right! Your visa is only valid from September 30th so don't arrive before then. Airlines will also check the date on your visa so I doubt that they will let you fly if on your arrival date, you don't have a valid visa.

Please my letter states I have permission to enter the UK from 30th September.So does this mean I won't be allowed in let say 29th?

Transferred to VAC on the 21st of September and recieved at the VAC on the 22nd.DHL brought it to my office today the 23rd.

I don't think there will be a problem with that.
You have secured accommodation in your university town and have proof of that; there should be nothing wrong with you quarantining for 14 days at a relative's place in a different city if you arrive the UK earlier than your accommodation contract starts and within the scope of whatever the rules on the new 90-day visa vignette allow.

Note that due to the current quarantine regulations, your "chilling at your sister's place" must be for 14 days.

Bro my accommodation contract starts in October but I was lucky to get an earlier date for my appointment, now I am thinking of traveling by late September if all things goes well. My problem now is that I entered my accommodation address on my application and also stating that I will be traveling by October. The plans now is to chill at my sister place in London before the start of my contract. I hope there won't be a problem at the POE?

Yes make a copy of the data page of your current passport.

Regarding your old passport, you are free to make copies of the relevant pages you want to include with your application as evidence of immigration history. However you won’t need to submit the old passport itself.

Just go to your TLS account, click on "Amend" and follow the prompts.
Your previous date is only changed when you have actually booked a replacement date, and not before.
Any time you go to check for a date and you don't see any, just close the window or click on "Return to Applicant Portal" when you're done; your original date stays safe.

Not really necessary.
The UK visa form asks you for the CAS number and the Sponsor Licence number, which is all the information needed.
