The NorCal Hip Hop scene is currently witnessing a highly divisive beef between Sacramento’s Mozzy and Oakland’s Philthy Rich. The conflict has seen the former collaborators antagonizing each other on social media and trading diss tracks.

Lil Nas X is making the most of his breakthrough single “Old Town Road.” The country trap sensation has dropped a new remix by Diplo following the release of his Billy Ray Cyrus-assisted version, which arrived earlier this month.

Diplo’s rendition transforms the track from a trap-based tune into more of an EDM style cut with build-ups and drops. The second official remix of “Old Town Road” maintains Cyrus’ contributions as opposed to using Lil Nas X’s solo original.


“Old Town Road” is still the No. 1 song in the country, maintaining its top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the fourth week in a row.
