Yikes!

This is bad news for the PDP in Kano. At this stage, you can't afford to be losing important people like this. When you are in a position of weakness, you do not try to make yourself weaker.

I don't get the idea of giving party structures to someone who just came in at the expense of the person who has been running it from day 1.

This will cost then and hurt them big

Running it from day 1 you said? When did Shekarau become a PDP member?

The APC camp he is running to did something similar in 2015 by handing over structure to the most senior politician at the time called Kwankwaso..

Lemme drop this for the ones from the other side that know SW politics even more than the Yoruba people...

The heckling of Saraki & by extension Kabiyesi isn't cos Saraki is a member of PDP, no, they are just letting him know in very clear terms, they don't roll with PDP at the national level (& same sentiment is all over the South West, period! Point Blank!!!)

Senator Buruji Kashamu is the senator representing my Ijebu people in NASS, He is a freaking PDP member, they voted PDP, he is likely to return to the senate (not heard of any strong opposition he has yet), so y'all need to quit the "They were sponsored to embarrass them" shtick! It won't stick, they just don't want to return the nation to bloodsuckers.... A PDP senator can do zero damage....

Let's say this again loud & clear & we'd keep repeating it till it sinks in, PYO gat it going on & as long as he's with his principal, we are on the train with them! cool

Stick to your crypto business and stop chatting filth. I guess the current change you voted in has been excellent for you and your folks with the following indices:-
1) Petrol subsidies have ended with the products readily affordable at N50/L
2)Dollar rate has crashed to sub N250 levels.
3)Unemployment has reduced with millions of job not lost.
4)Power supply is fairly constant across the country
5)Security of lives and properties is at an all time high.
6) our railway, roads, hospitals are in very top shape.
7) Corruption has drastically reduced.

MAY PMB/PYO aimless regime never rule us for ever as you shamelessly desire. Amen.

Politics / Re: Hitler-poland Narrative: Is Senator Akpabio Declaring War On Akwa Ibom? by Geniro: 9:46pm On Aug 21, 2018
Babygiwa:
Akpabio Declares War on the people of Akwa Ibom; Likens APC’s takeover of Akwa Ibom to Hitler’s Invasion of Poland Which Cost 8 Million Lives

FORMER Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Obong Godswill Akpabio, has stated that the 2019 elections in Akwa Ibom will be like Hitler’s 1940 invasion of Poland.

Senator Akpabio who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC, said the election shall be war which its victory shall be in his side and to that of his new found political party.

The former Governor of Akwa Ibom made this statement while attending the funeral Mass of his grandmother-in-law, late Madam Mercy Uduoku Neife Igwenagu, at Christ the king Parish Aguobu-Owa, Ezeagu Local Government area of Enugu State during the weekend.

Akpabio said: “Recently, I had an occasion in Akwa Ibom State and this is what happened: I just went to make a floor declaration; others do it in the social media, others just sit in their offices, some do it by text messages that they have changed platform, what we call party. But in my own, I just decided to do it in an uncommon way because they call me uncommon transformer. It was watched in 59 countries and somebody asked what happened there, and I said just how it happened in Poland. When they asked Hitler’s minister for information how was the war in Poland? He said Warsaw saw war and war saw Warsaw. “I will say that in the Ikot-Ekpene arena, when I stepped out, this is my first function after that, Warsaw saw war and war saw Warsaw. We can’t talk politics in the church but in 2019 Warsaw shall see war and war shall see Warsaw. The return will be victory. May God grant us all victory.”

The German invasion of Poland began on 01/09/1939, an event that triggered the Second World War.

The invading forces comprised of 1.5m German soldiers, 466,000 Soviet soldiers & 51,000 Slovakian soldiers. Combined these outnumbered the 1m strong Polish forces almost 2:1.
During the course of the invasion as many as 66,000 Polish soldiers were killed.
In Pomerania alone between 36,000 & 42,000 people, including children were killed before the end of 1939
But this was just the beginning. For about 2 years before the commencement of the invasion, Germany had secretly compiled lists of Polish elite, activists, actors, former officers, clergy, scholars & intelligentsia who were to be executed.
These lists were used for Operation Tannenberg - an operation during which tens of thousands of Polish citizens were killed in 760 mass execution sites across Poland.

By the end of the German occupation of Poland about 18% of its population was killed. This translates to about 6 Million People.

Killing 18% of Akwa Ibom’s current population is 981,180 people and the equivalent of wiping out ten key Local Governments in the Oil Producing State.

Guy,lets use common sense or logic.what were the electoral contributions of those defectors to apc in ik zone in 2015 please? You pdp guys mistake every defection as a big loss.even in katsina, people defect to pdp from apc.

You know the truth and it should set you free. Akpabio coming from IK should be locked down. He has the billions to throw about, why are his kinsmen abandoning him.

No true IK man supports Akpabio defection, even the AKS community he loves visiting in Lagos are seriously pissed with him. Leave social media and go to the grassroots, they are overwhelmed by Akpabio disappointment and 2019 will be hell for him and his APC crew.

It's going to be a very brutal affair if Akpabio decides to over exert himself.

Yes but there have similarities.both are elections, they show the strength of each party and give us an idea of how the presidential will be

Using Senator Kashamu and Gov. Dankwanbo for example. While the APC won the presidential elections comfortably, these guyz were able to win their seats effortlessly as well despite the anti PDP campaign cos they were very good local candidates.

Zombie all politics is local. The populace votes individuals than party. If a strong candidate contests, he is likely to pull a lot of votes irrespective of party.

Just like the 2018 budget which was presented Nov 17 2017. Hope you know, it was presented early enough, but it was passed June,2018.

You are simply repeating yourself. Nov 17, 2017 isn't early enough.

The budget was passed by NASS on May 17, blame the Executive for waiting an extra month to sign it into law. If it could take the executive a month to simply sign, what do you expect the NASS to do when their duty is to scrutinize the budgets and make amendments where necessary.

Yes the NASS delayed but the executive also have a share in the blame.

There are 2 sides to the story. That was what he made you to believe. The 2018 Budget that was submitted way back Nov 2017 , what did they do to it?

To be passed when? A serious government will present their budget much earlier to give the legislature much room to interface with the MDA for review and possible amendments.
