Celebrities / Re: "i Pay My Girlfriend Salary Every Month" Timaya by Gentle4lyf: 8:04am On Apr 23, 2010
There is no link to this story, and how do we know the question that was asked him before he said what he said. Many other guys, including these critics, spend more than the plantain boy on their girlfriends. I don't see the need for all these criticism or is it because he used the word "salary"?
Please stop mentioning Gravity here, does the fact that Kelly Hansome sang negative about Mo'hits make Wande and D'banj fools, illiterates or unwise spenders? If you know other things Timaya does with his money, most of these crap won't be said.

Ohakim wants to see obama grin grin grin grin

LWKMD, That Ohakim man is just everywhere everytime, i think he's got something up his sleeves. IMO PEOPLE NEED TO SEE THEIR GOVERNOR MORE OFTEN, HE'S NOT A PRESIDENTIAL AIDE.

@Poster, Joeboy is not doing badly at all, I can't wait to see Iwu out of office

~Bluetooth:

Dora brought in personal interest into the constitution but people like you see it as standing for the constitution.the same constitution she couldnt convince her colleagues to obey.she presented the memo, fine but who sent her to go on publicity campaign tagging people cabal.the whole yaradua sage degenereated because of her over-stretching of the issue and here you are kissing her a s s.loyalty swapping is no big deal in nigeria and this is purely one of such.

I wonder why some people think that it was Dora's duty or it was within her power to convince the other ministers against their corrupt, unpatriotic and fearful wills. She may be corrupt as all others, and may have put personal interest in what she did but since such personal interest matched the law and demand of the people, then such personal interest is right. She did what she could. Try to convince someone against his/her will and see how difficult it is.
And if anyone thinks that Dora deserved those senseless question, he/she should check out the senators that were against her (all Katsina).

Culture / Kegites Club? by Gentle4lyf: 1:59pm On Oct 19, 2009
I've always wanted to know more about this group of people but have not been able to, though i enjoy their gyrations and language. Maybe some nairalanders can shed more light on their activities for those of us who do not know. Some people say most of her members are cultists, how true is that?

Politics / Re: ‘why Yar’adua Shunned Un General Assembly’ by Gentle4lyf: 1:49pm On Oct 12, 2009
Well, i think there is immaturity among our diplomats and i don't really fancy the Honourable's speech; but Nairalanders to be very frank with us, when it comes to peacekeeping, Nigeria's efforts are NOT being given due appreciation and that's not exclusive to the U.S but to other "world powers" (as they are called) except to an extent, Russia. Yes, a few other non "world powers" come close to the world powers in terms of ingratitude like S.A.
Pls don't let your hatred for the Nigerian state becloud your reasoning because indeed many of our brothers have sacrificed their lives for peacekeeping over a very very long time. See how the U.S and NATO forces are praised for their efforts, Nigeria ranks 5th(from the last time i read about it) in peacekeeping world-over and 1st in Africa, we deserve more appreciation and i couldn't agree more with the Honourable on that point.
Just as Christ said "greater love has no man than this: giving his life for his friend". Just on that singular point, Nigeria's sacrifice should cover a multitude of shortfalls.
THAT IS MY HUMBLE OPINION. I REST MY CASE.
Politics / Re: Edo Police Set Up Anti-kidnapping Squad by Gentle4lyf: 3:10pm On Oct 09, 2009
Why must we always have nagative thoughts and reactions to every damn thing. The squad has just come into being and have done nothing to deserve either praise or criticism. So why not you all critics be patient and allow them die before you burry them. HABA!!!!!!!! This is one thing i hate about the bulk of Nigerians. angry

Quote: Are policemen not along the road, if there is any, why don't you sue the driver for public disturbance.
See you, man must eat.

When they arrest them for public disturbance, evryone will want to crucify them saying "Police! foolish people, them don dey find money".
Career / Pls I Need Ur Advice On My Career Choice by Gentle4lyf: 1:29pm On Sep 30, 2009
Pls Honorable Nairalanders i'm a student and i have a burning desire to join any of the 'forces' upon graduation. I was unable to secure an admission into the prestigious NDA and i don't think i'll want to go for four more years after my graduation. This has left me with other options like Police, SSS. Pls I would like your candid opinions on the forces in view and possible facts on benefits (both cash & any other). Thanks.
Politics / Re: October 1, 2009, Nigeria At 49, Anything To Celebrate? by Gentle4lyf: 8:35pm On Sep 28, 2009
WHY DOES EVRY1 KEEP BLAMING THE GOVERNMENT (civilian)!!!!!!!! THOUGH THEY HAVE THEIR SHARE OF THE BLAME, WE SHOULD ALL AKNOWLEDGE THE VERY FACT THAT THE BULK OF OUR PROBLEMS WAS INITIATED AND CAUSED BY THE MILITARY MOST OF US PRAISE 2DAY.
ALSO, THE FOLLOWERSHIP OR LED IN NIGERIA ARE NOT HELPING MATTERS EITHER.
I HOLD VERY STRONG VIEWS THAT nigeria's PROBLEMS ARE CAUSED BY ALL OF US. WE DON'T ONLY PRATICE CORRUPTION IN OUR LITTLE CORNERS AND BREAK LAWS WITH OUR UNPATRIOTIC SENTIMENTS, WE ALSO ARE THE FIRSTS TO SAY ALL SORT OF S**T (both true and untrue) ABOUT NIGERIA.

Well about whether to celebrate or not, MAN NO KNOW!!!!!!!!!!! BUT IF WE CAN'T THANK GOD 4 WHERE WE ARE, WE CAN AT LEAST THANK HIM FOR WHERE WE HAVE ESCAPED BEING.   undecided cry
