olenyi: Oga George_D, @olenyi, LOL! I think it really is a mini earth station. Maybe I should be thinking of bidding for re-transmission rights for Warri Wolves FC matches here in Delta State! |

swordswifter: @swordswifter, I already answered the first part of your question as to who made the dish in my earlier post. But in case you missed it, the guy is Mr Okey by name. He resides in Kaduna. Apparently he has been in the business for years but I only got to know him through oga badaru. You too can call and discuss with him. It is a free world we live in. These are his numbers: 08039346299 or 08092354782. As for the pricing, I'm not inclined to disclose this here on the pages of the internet as there are many variables that can affect final price of any size dish but you can always call him and have a one-on-one chat as per your requirement. |

banysat: Good job GeorgeD, @banysat, The dish petals are made of galvanized steel while the rib supports and polar mount are made of mild steel. |

@I Hacked, In as much as the satfinder is a convenient means of sat tracking, a few times we still need to do things the traditional method. Especially for some of us FTA hobbyists who started up back in the days when there were no such niceties. All the same, thanks for your observation. I will get myself a good one. Or do you have any particular brand you recommend? As for the redline receivers, I am tempted to take up your offer but as you may be aware, being an advocate of CLEAN FTA, it will be out of character to be seen indulging in such. Good observation, yes, the jack is a 24inch heavy duty type and is too small for the dish. I was unable to get a bigger 36inch type as at the time of installation but now thanks to my friend obnelly in Lagos, he already bought one for me which I will install tomorrow. |

@tochisky, @SULIEMAN3, @odilibe, @I Hacked, @Pidzo, @abunafiu, @ayolacz, @permie, @twinskenny, @viazi, @freshp, @Adex70, @ALL, Thanks so much for the goodwill messages. You guys are so wonderful. As a team we all share part of the success of this job. Today, the frontiers of FTA has been further brightened by the addition of this lovely jewel. The much talked about distant birds are no longer so distant anymore. We will continue to break barriers and chart new ways to achieve freedom. Freedom to be who we are. VIVA FTA!!! |

olenyi: @Oga George_D. @olenyi, No. It seems our initial optimism about that Nigerian Mux may have been misplaced. Either it has moved or the dBW of that TP is so low as not be of any use to us here in these parts. This is so frustrating! |

olenyi: @olenyi, Thanks my brother. The 3m fibre dish has been un-usable for a while due to a bent neck. I just felt the time has come for a complete upgrade. With the new 4m motorized pan, out-of-footprint birds are now dancing on my screen once again! |
