microgiant: @ George, I finally succeeded in fixing the dish on the deck. Pictures will be posted in the motorizing small dishes thread. I will borrow a colleague's camera, mine is bad after being soaked in water for more than 8hrs. The damn leaking has damaged almost all my gadgets, including my laptop screen which is permanently partitioned into two. The dampness alone no get part two, had to warm my remotes every time i want to use them before it will respond.

I think since there is a divergence of opinion as to which LNB is superior - whether spitfire or Avenger,
maybe we should just order both types and put them to real world test. The one that performs better on
fringe reception will then carry the day.
I am willing to commit funds to this trial if only there's a reliable way to acquire these LNBs for
testing purposes.
