Dear Sir,

Thank you for always. I appreciate.

@Ghaneeyah4me

As the legal guardian, you can write the consent letter.

Fill out and include the ''child visitors form''

I sent you an email.

Dear Ashirioluwa, Thank you for your replies it has been helpful.

I'm stuck at the consent part, At any point in the application aside "Parent information " Does my parent need to still give her consent?. My mum is alive but my dad is late

Thanks for your continued assistance.

Ashirioluwa:

Write a cover letter or introduction letter since you’re the one doing the application for her.

Use the letter to summarize everything about the trip, your relationship with your niece, the reasons why you intend to take her along for the trip, the fund for the trip, what you guys plan to do or visit during the trip

Thank you for the information, The letter you referred to , can you assist to be explicit about it please.

I appreciate your response.

You're on the right track; the court's guardianship letter is a better option.

In my wife's instance, she used an affidavit of guardianship that was sworn to in the presence of the commissioner of oath, but the visa officer didn't buy that.

The visa officer asserted that the affidavit was simply a declaration signed by her in the presence of the commissioner of oath, and that it does not grant legal guardianship according to immigration law and policy.

Hello, it's a guardianship letter from a magistrates court.

Ashirioluwa:

Apply for her the way you would for your biological child, but remember to include the guardianship letter. I believe it will also be nice to back it up with a strong and convincing letter.

Is the guardianship letter from a customary or magistrate court?

My wife did the same thing a few months ago. She applied for her niece, who has been staying with her for over 3 years, and she used an affidavit of guardianship to support the application.

The application was denied, and the reason given was that an affidavit of guardianship is an ordinary self-declaration document that doesn't confer legal guardianship or custody.

Good morning House, I got the legal guardianship letter for my sister on the 5th of this month and I intend applying for her next week.

Please house, Kindly share with me information or additional documents I need to make sure to include to avoid NSF mail.

Thank you

Unless they have a doubt concerning the document you sent, I don't think they will call the hospital to confirm.

If I may ask, why are you stressing yourself out about the document you submitted? Is the document not legit?

In any case, nobody can predict with certainty what they will do.

Good evening, The documents I submitted is genuine, my worry initially was, could it be that the hospital isn't responding to email .

Good morning house,
I did a paid call twice to UKVI , regarding my son's passport after submission of Hospital birth certificate and all they kept saying was " they will make a decision soon" . Does anyone have an idea if they will contact the Hospital for verification of birth at their premises. Please assist. Thank you
