Sports / 'newcastle Takeover Could Be Fraudulent' by ginkyi: 8:14pm On Sep 25, 2008
According to reports Mike Itemuagbor, the CEO of the Nigerian Football Federation's marketers, has suspicions the Nigerian consortium behind the proposed Newcastle takeover could be a massive scam. Sports / Official 2010 World Cup Turmoil by ginkyi: 1:18pm On Sep 22, 2008
FIFA president Sepp Blatter has called upon SAFA to shun its constitutional requirements and postpone their elections until after 2010 to ensure World Cup plans remain on track. The move could well be construed as blatant meddling on Blatter's part, but amidst South Africa's current political turmoil, football's ringmaster may have a salient point.

Blatter, however, has requested that SAFA renege on their constitutional requirements so that "the three musketeers" of president Molefi Oliphant, World Cup Local Organising Committee (LOC) chairperson Irvin Khoza and CEO Danny Jordaan can continue to steer World Cup preparations.

I mean - First it was xenophobia attacks, then Crime, A national team that is slipping down the rankings quicker than lager turns to piss, 95 police offices sacked in one go, Stadiums that won't be finished on time, cheap labour - let alone the meddling of politicians who don't have a clue about sport / football.

Give us all a break and just move it!
