Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How Bad Is Unemployment In Nigeria by Gisthaphy(f): 9:56pm On Aug 26, 2021
JavaScript90:
What is unemployment? I believe people just can't bring down themselves to do certain jobs due to their ego or certificate. I remember 2011 when I finished waec I had to start offloading plantain to make ends meet though my colleagues opted to do sales girl /boy and other minor jobs until person enter university. Now we dib graduate my colleagues who didn't find white collar jobs are either sowing,buying/selling, into crypto or other stuffs. Honestly I don't know any that is not 'working'. The problem is that everyone wants high paying government/private jobs which everyone can't get. I honestly believe that what we actually have in the country is under-employment not unemployment

Are you still in the plantain business?

Rice from the North contain stone. Don't let anyone bobo u.
If you want stoneless ones go and get it from Nigeria rice companies like Stallions, Olam or distributors

There's destoning machines. Find the cheapest price, buy it and take them for destoning.

Nairasurplus:

You know we do not measure in KGs here in Onitsha. We measure in painters. Any way , a painter measures 3kg in weight.

For Today's prices

For White Garri,
A bag of 20 painters weighs 60kg and it is N17,000
A bag of 17 painters weighs 51kg and it is N14,000

For Yellow Garri
A bag of 17 painters is N15,000

For those in Onitsha, Trans is free as I can deliver with my own car.
Rgards

yes I know we measure in painters here. ok...I'll get back to u. that reminds me, what price is a bag containing 22 painters.

Nwaonyeocha:
My experience yesterday was wonderful.
I was stranded with about 70 crates of eggs infact I was at the same spot from 2pm till 7pm. The transporters were real Shylocks while my already made arrangements failed repeatedly. At about 6pm business began. Passersby were queuing - one crate, 2 crates, half crate ..... and at the highest price.
The most wonderful was that as the cab I was waiting for arrived, a smart looking lady who bought 2 crates of eggs asked some kind of questions every distributor would like. She asked for two crates earlier, I gave her only one telling her that I reserved the remaining for some clients who have already booked it.
She complianed of scarcity of distributors that many have brushed aside her proposals for supply. At this moment I came out full asked for details and struct a deal instantly. She bakes cakes and needs 12 crates weekly and the good thing is that her office is in my environment.
The delay last night gave me the kind of customer I have always prayed for - Medium @820

You see that the delay meant well for u. Good business deal u couldn't have gotten easily just came to u. Weldone!!!

thanks farmtech. I sent u a pm on FB. confirm pls. ok. maybe I can start small to know how productive it is. it's Ghanaian and Cameroonian snails that take that long though good cos they lay over 100 eggs. Nigerian snails take 6months or thereabout to mature and lay over 50eggs.

Good-day Doctors!
I once heard that there are some medical students who regrets for ever opting for medicine and some may along the line change their course.
Please is there any one here who have had this experience or who is having this experience?
What are the possible causes of the regret?
How could one overcome it?
I am an aspirant...
Thanks!
something propelled u to aspire for mbbs just like every other person. hold unto yours and don't be distracted. some other persons might regret but it's up to you to either hold on or flop. keep keeping on!

what's brainfriend pls? ehmm as for ur question, she must need to score above 290 for merit admission. anything short of that is followed by longer legs. had someone dat scored 304 and was given admission on merit. their exam is cbt and she should b conversant with past questions.
