1: K1 visa interview usually holds on Thursdays
2: there's 99% approval rate for the k1 visa applicants

Yes when i received my packet 4 it was contain on the instruction the list of hospitals to visit for the medicals and IOM was close to where I stay I sent a mail to the Dr . and got a response immediately with the available dates for medicals , picked one made payments and took the deposit slip there and the rest is history . I will be picking up my medical result on Monday from 2-4 pm.. exactly as they stated 3-5days .

Hi, did you schedule an appointment at IOM for the medicals or was it walk -in? There result comes out so fast ,i like that..i was thinking it takes up to two weeks

Medical fees are different depends on the clinic used... I used International Migration Health Assessment center in Lagos and I paid N91,500 as compulsory fee notwithstanding if I have done any vaccinations before, then I paid another N17,780 for 5 [/b]vaccinations I got them that same day my hands where very heavy ehn .. all together I paid [b]109,280 ... IOM will give you two medical reports one for the embassy and for you... The embassy medical report will be sealed and untouched while the one for you will be open... It takes 3-5 days to get the report ready...

My Police report was done for 5,000 after the whole stuff I gave the guy a tip for the quick service. and it took just 35mins to get it done I received it that same day..

Please I don't really understand the info on the link you sent .someone said something about requesting 1year validity. Do you mean it's still valid even if three months have passed?please Don't be angry with my question, I don't wanna make mistakes

Hi everyone, My interview is first week of January but I did my police clearance in September (thinking I will get an earlier date) so please is it still valid for the interview or should I get another one cause it's written valid for three months.

Don't be confused dear.. The appointment confirmation in your email is meant to have two numbers. The ds160 number which starts with two alphabets ,then the UID.(which is 8 in number). Just make sure the ds160 number in the appointment confirmation matches with your ds160 form.

The appointment confirmation I got in my email has only one barcode . The UID, with 8 numbered under it.

And the ds160 confirmation I got has one barcode too. With about 10 numbers under it. Starting with alphabet.

So when I called them, they sent an email to me . Appointment confirmation email. And the email has both barcodes in it. So I’m confused . Because it’s still the same barcodes and numbers I got earlier, but just that they now put both on the same page. ( appointment confirmation page)

You need to pay another 98,050 for your Child. And what you are paying for is K Visa and not K1 or K2 or K4 or K4. The Banks don't differentiate the kind of K Visa. The same applies if you are applying for Spousal Visa (IR or CR), you and your Child will each pay 98,050.

I paid for k 98,050(fiance or spouse visa) @gtb and they said k2(child of k1) is not registered on their profile. I have called and emailed Lagosiv but no response till now. I need to schedule interview asap o. I don't know what to do.. Is k2 payment under k? If I select k as payment for k2 ,the receipt will bear fiance or spouse visa which is not acceptable right?

No. The only payment is done at gtbank to pay for K1 Visa interview.

You can schedule her interview as an appendage to yours. You don't need to create any new ustraveldocs account for your daughter. Your account is what you'll use to schedule both yours and your daughter's interview.

Just tell them the truth. You are not currently working. Not a problem.

1. Are k1 visa seekers required to pay $240 on the day of interview(i saw it online so I want to verify if it's true)
2. My fiancé filed for me and my daughter, so do I need to schedule two interviews (mine and hers) since I will be filling two DS160 forms and paying two visa fees @gtb.
3.this question of' what do you do for a living 'kinda worries me cause I just finished my service last month no job yet (fiancé, my parents and my savings is still sustaining me) so I don't exactly know how to answer such.

And then he said he has every reason to grant me the visa and I was told to pick up my visa in 1-2 weeks.

My fiancé filed for K1 visa and has received the approval on 30th of August, meanwhile in the approval it is stated that the petition has been forwarded to Nigeria consulate but I haven't received any mail.. Am guessing it's still in NVC. Please what should I do? Wait? Call them?
