Agriculture / Re: Groundnut Pyramid In Nigeria In 1970 (Photo) by globatop: 8:03am On Jan 12, 2015
The oil supposed to be blessings, successive govt turned it to a curse.
Other oil producing nations with foresight knew oil prospects can not be forever, they used money from oil to develop other sectors like agric and tourism, but our leaders used our for personal aggrandizements and frivolities. Important liquefied natural gas project LNG was neglected by Shagari regime for development of Abuja, as a result of which gas flaring continued till date.
They have wasted almost a decade of Nigeria existence.

* I have never seen any school built in his name.
* I have never seen any borehole constructed by him.
* There is no record of any scholarship
awarded by him or for him nor through him.
* I have never seen him use his popularity to canvass
for any charitable work nor any humanitarian
effort, not even at the height of the polio scourge
where other
purposeful and prominent leaders lead the campaign
for immunization.
* No single text book has been donated to any school
either by him, for him or through him. Little wonder
he sentenced a seasoned professor to 100 yrs
imprisonment- shame.
* Asides from doing nothing, he has not improved
himself
since his exit from office.
* No book written, no memoirs, no lectures,
nothing. Little wonder he sentenced a seasoned
professor to 100 yrs imprisonment- shame.
* The only thing of note he can point to are his
numerous interviews on the BBC Hausa station.
* He never champion for a university in his state nor
has he ever been involved in any kind of programme
to better the lives of the Almajiris in Daura.
* His entire existence has not lead to any meaningful
development in Daura, yet they say he can change
Nigeria.
Doesn't charity begin at home again?
* No wonder he was referred to as being
''perpetually unelectable''.
* He is not a patron to any organization, group or
association.
* No professional body in Nigeria has ever invited
him for their lecture, convention or gala night.
* The only time any known form, body or human
assemblage ever chose him to do
anything for them was when the Boko Haram
terrorist sect nominated him as their spoke person in
the proposed talks with the Fed. Govt. He recently
joined twitter because of elections.
At 72 what does he have to offer?
I need change, we all need change but Gen Buhari
isn't the answer!
If Buhari presidential election, na big slap on Naija
Youths. Pls Share

Going through all your points, do you know only money bags are appointed to donate, present lectures, finance projects and influence projects to their community? Majority of those who live fat on our common resources, they sat on our billions and dole thousands to us as if we are beggars. Nigerians should be taught how to fish rather than been given fish. Nigerians need modern infrastructural developments not withe washed obsolete projects from ur pay master. South easterners has rejected his 2nd Niger bridge, sub standard airport projects, while Lagos deserves better train service than the one provided, how many commuter can pay #750 for a one way trip within Lagos state going to work, remember minimum wage is just #600 per day.
Every supporter of GEJ should rather look back to what happened to industry vis-a-vis employment during Shagari regime in 1983, I believe those that were in the then Shagari regime have hijacked PDP plus their offspring which may include your very self. This is honest and personal opinion.

Hit like if you believe this points.

Family / Re: Separation Is Imminent In My Marriage. by globatop: 12:40am On Jan 05, 2015
What u have for her is not love, u will be stupid trying to mend such marriage, it can never work, don't be deceived by any religion injunctions, ur life and happiness is important, she paid the rent, get another accommodation and run for ur life.
Some guys are blind folded by beauty & prospect of a lady and mistook infatuation for love. Go and read the rudiments of love in the book of Romans, u will find out that ur marriage lacks any. Be warned.
Politics / Re: I’m Coming Up With Anti-corruption Plan — Jonathan by globatop: 4:52pm On Jan 02, 2015
If it has taken him 6years to understand the nation's problem, then he is not proactive enough to be our president. Economic measure that does not include slashing their salary but increase in vat is clueless and anti masses.

Education / Re: Shocker: Nigerian University Where Students Defecate In The Open by globatop: 12:10pm On Dec 27, 2014
JONATHAN is not to be blamed for all the rot in the society, but he is to be blamed for condoning corruption, all the rots are fall out of corruption. Deal with one corrupt official (Ghana style) every corrupt mind will have change of heart. Nigeria is the only country where public officials are not accountable. Start to probe every contract and budgetary allocations, things will fall in place. Remember stealing is corruption - (DICTIONARY.COM)

Politics / Re: Fayose Criticizes PDP Governors Visit To Obasanjo, Calls For His Suspension by globatop: 5:13pm On Dec 05, 2014
Fayose may be on point, but his utterances towards an elder statesman is unbecoming, he has been bashing obj since d failed 3rd term bid. He should rather watch his tongue, because ( Eni ti o junilo le juni pa) a senior will ALWAYS be one.
Can GEJ and Jonathan ever meet OBJ's pedigree both home and abroad, ask Bode George. Again who among fayose and GEJ has laid his life for this country.
Nigeria is drifting towards 1983 Era, and u want elders to keep quite. Most youth in 1983 will understand better. Soon company's will feel effect of austerity and unemployment rate will increase, even politicians will find less to loot, their touts will descend on the masses. Anarchy is looming.

This woman should be tied to a stage with GEJ and shot for taking us back to 1983 Era.
The economy is badly managed, no wonder obj relieved her in his cabinet. Why are these people been recycled always. It is pathetic we are going back despite the oil windfall of yester years. No meaningful development, savings or diversification. We are too complacent as followers.
Nigerians are doomed, it is hopeless expecting oil price to rise, US will frustrate any effort at bringing oil price to $100 per barrel.
Madam Okonjo could not even ask politicians to review their emolument.

You call petty gift bribe in GEJ's voice.
Gradually corruption has become norm in Naija. A country that has no social security, no planned future for citizenry where take-home-pay can not take you home. Where one year salary of a father can not pay one term school fees, such is expected.

This politicians should remember the aftermath of their action in the the ondo state in the 1983 election. The family that lost loved ones and property were left to lick their wounds.
NPN militarised the state with hope of surpressing UPN, the result is no longer news to those that are adults then.

When Nyako said Bokoharam was Better equipped than our military some said he does not know what he was saying. This govt is deceptive. The military action that wouldn't have cost us much if he had done the needful. Where were all defence allocations of yester years.

Only 2015 election is important to this man, his reelection is paramount to him and detrimental to Nigeria. His action towards opposition will only send us back to 1983 days.

Jona & Impunity.

Assuming Nyako retraced his step back to PDP he would have been a saint, not that his sin would have been forgiven, he wouldn't have committed any offence. Politician's record are not clean, diverting public fund to party's purse is order of the day, but once u are in good book of Jonah, embezzling 2 billion is petty stealing not corruption.

Nyako was PDP governor till 2013, the offence he was impeached for was committed when he was in PDP, were the house members not seeing it or participating in it, but when his ambition is contrary to Jonas ambition, he suddenly become thieve, God dey oo.

Most of u that are celebrating PDP must be toddlers during 1983 elections when NPN attempts to overrun oppositions stronghold. If history repeats itself, then you will know what happened in the then Ondo & Oyo states.
