So sahara Gaap, prepare for a test on all areas of accounting, tax computation, debit n credit, reconciliation, internal control n audit, risk management strategies, definition of terms in all areas, just finished a 2 hr test strictly testing your background in accounting, next up brief interview.
Definitely tried but it could have been better if the lady that wrote yesterday threw more light about her experience on the test, so herez my own little contribution. .... keep this thread alive
Some guys have been hoarding information "hush hush". Dat was thesame message a friend of mine described to me after her experience yesterday. She was told to pick a paper from a container and talk about the topic for 2minutes.

Amen, the number was too much guess that was d reason they included essay this year, to screen out more people cos don't think pwc takes more than a 100, 150 per year
Your didn't even factor in recession into your analysis, last year the number of intake was lesser. I think in the range of 25-50 compare to previous years. Last year was only one batch compare to 2015 which was two batches.

Can you give us details of how it all went. Like how many people per batch? Was the topic of the essay the same for all candidates because this is the first time applicants are writing essay?

Pls I'm a silent follower of this thread, kudos to everyone who makes efforts to post vacancies. God will bless you all and crown your selfless attitude. Pls does anyone know Greater Washington Logistics, how much do they pay their data analyst and how structured is the organization, Pls I just want to know if it's worth leaving my present place for, I have an interview with them.
Please don't waste your time. Because u might regret it. They can't pay more than #40,000. I hate the fact that they wear uniform.

You mean GETS 2016 now GETS 2017?

I have actually forgotten about it and moved on.

98% of GETS 2015 are not absorbed yet even after passing out of the Academy. Stop bothering about uncertainties and go search for certainties. Moreover GETS is not the best thing that can happen to us.Their are great opportunities out there also.
Funny enough I started this recruitment last year and wasn't called for interveiw and I got an employment that can be compared to the worth of GETS and in Lagos where I can have access to other opportunities easily.

If using Microsoft word and excel properly is the issue here, no would have come for your head; but saying what does ms word and excel mean is definitely a 'breaking news'.
Can you just stop misinterpreting the question the poor guy asked. He just wanted to know what he would be expecting in such kind of interveiw/test and not that he dosent know what is excel or word.
