@thelifechangers No matter how good ur post is, so far as its not on the existing topic, it is a deviation. I think it will be more respectful of you to create a new thread for it. To me, makin ur post here shows lack of courage and confidence to startup ur own, and its not a good portrayal. Just an advice sir

Car Talk / Re: As A Car Driver, What Are Ur Experiences With Police And Car Docs by Godiskind: 9:53pm On Oct 13, 2014
Thank you sir for d more clarification
GAZZUZZ:

Please let me rephrase, for a car bought brand new from say dana motors or choscaris, since they clear their cars in bulk, you might not have individual custom duty certificate ready as at time of purchase, you will only be issues a cover note from the company stating that the vehicle has been cleared and certificate will be issued in when recived.

For the vehicle inspection, it is for cars older than 5years.
Car Talk / Re: As A Car Driver, What Are Ur Experiences With Police And Car Docs by Godiskind: 9:33pm On Oct 13, 2014
Good! It's not every time that they shud hav their way. And normally, u are not supposed to be driving along with ur original papers. I thank God ur broda cud provide d originals just in time.
chucky234:
I was driving in my Corolla along with a friend of mine when they stopped us, they asked for my DL which I provided to them, they further asked for my vehicle particulars which I handed over to them. After going through the docs the most senior of them demanded to see the original copies of my car docs, I told them that I dont drive around with the original copies but they insisted. Instead of bribing my way out I followed them to their office, I called my younger brother who brought the originals to the station.
After plenty talk here and there they allow us to go without spending a dime, they ended up wasting our time.
Car Talk / Re: As A Car Driver, What Are Ur Experiences With Police And Car Docs by Godiskind: 9:06pm On Oct 13, 2014
Pls I appeal to us to tell our real experience in such a way that someone may be able to learn somthing from it.
@HarkinromardeY, Thats one of d problems being faced, police would always want to take advantage of someone's ignorance. But I am glad u did not end up sleeping in d plice station, though I guess u must have spent a bit. But did u eventually learn from d mechanic where d chassis nos is indicated? Did u learn something from that ur experience?
@GAZZUZZ, I like d way u presented ur xperienc in this issue. It's quite enlightening sir. Atleast thru it someone can learn that car that is not older than 5yrs doesnt need custom duty cert or vehic inspectn paper. Also one can know some of the paper d car owner shud hav, and d ones that need periodic renewal. But I want to ask d following:
1.If u buy a brand new car, after using it for more than 5yrs, are u then required to go for custom duty paper?
2. Tint permit, is it not renewable?
Car Talk / Re: As A Car Driver, What Are Ur Experiences With Police And Car Docs by Godiskind: 8:34pm On Oct 13, 2014
Pls can you tell us why u were stopped? Why did it have to end at d police station? How did u finally resolve it?
chucky234:
I have been stopped once and funny enough I ended up at Festac police station.
Car Talk / As A Car Driver, What Are Ur Experiences With Police And Car Docs by Godiskind: 8:35pm On Oct 12, 2014
I created this thread to enable car owners or drivers to share his/her experiences with the policemen or other task forces in providing car documents.

Ever had of someone complaining on how the police tried to use intimidation on him to spend money, even after he has provided all the necessary documents. What about different categories of agboro working under the umbrella of the govt?

The aim of this thread is to enable car users especially those new in the system to know possible encounters they can get from the police or other task force. And to know the necessary documents they need for their vehicle to knw how face such situation.

Please in order for this to be helpful to the audience, I would want us to follow these rules:

1. State the type of vehicle u use.
2. What it is used for, ie, private or commercial?
3. What paper did police ask from you that u did not have?
4. What papers did u have or present?
5. How did u resolve the problems with them?

I dont have a car yet but hope to have soonest. Pls share ur experience with us, pls follow d outlined steps above

"How do we know you would not make espionage on us or try to set a propangander against us thru our competitors, using bulk sms service as a cover since we would release database of gsm numbers of our relevant customers?"

I told the person I am genuine, that I'm a christian. He said hiv is not written on d face of d carrier. What should I have answered.

maxproxl: 3. JOHN FASHANU AGENT BUSINESS:
In 2005, Nigeria Born british UN Ambassador. JOHN FASHANU became the face of tyre protector. When he decided to make a career change. According to him he finally finds a business which gives him same satisfaction as football. He is the CEO of Tyre Protector(TP) Nigeria and has exclusive right for 36 states, FCT Abuja and 48 countries in Africa.

TP is a revolutionary product that seals tyres from the inside and permanently protects them against punctures, blowouts and air loss. Excessive heat is responsible for premature tyre wear and blowouts causing 80% of all car accidents. In addition to protecting lives of car users, TP will also help reduce the mortality rate caused by avoidable road accidents… recently four members of a church in lagos FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH ejigbo area died from a car accident caused by tyre blowouts. This could have been avoided with the use of Tyre Protector.

This is one product you need to install in your car tyres. For a token of N14,000(N3500 per tyre) for normal cars with 14rim tyres(SUVs are more expensive), you are perfectly secured from punctures, air loss and blowouts. NOTE: your car is useless without tyres, more than good tyres wisdom demands you get secured tyres. As a certified agent with john fashanu, we have been authorized to train others on the details of this unique product. John Fashanu’s image also boosts marketing and makes it easy to promote and sell.

Participants of our seminar will learn:
- Functions of the sealant
- how to be an agent & distributor
- installation procedures
- quantity required per tyre
- how to generate income with this product
- how to partner with Ambassador John Fashanu

congrats on your 1st bulk sms deal.any number in hard copy can only become soft copy by typing it into the system.thats the only way sir. so find someone to help u type the 2000 numbers then save it so u dont need to re-type.when u send, the numbers are saved in "sent folder" of the sms site so u can also copy & paste anytime u need it.for a cheap sms site pls talk to ETCME or SEMASIR.you will excel

I hav this vital question to ask to all who hav done dis bulk sms biz. How do u do with typing large numbers? I'm not talkin of d copyin and pasting. For example, u hav upto 2000 gsm nos to send bulk sms, typing 2000 gsm nos can be very time consuming and energy sapping, pls how better do u do it?

Business / Re: 20-simple Businesses You Can Start At Home With N20,000 Or Less by Godiskind: 4:18pm On Aug 26, 2014
I saw a bulk sms site that charges as follow:
0.79k per sms for 1000sms and above and for one page text to mtn, glo, airtel at 1.9 units. This simply means that d cost of sending a page text to mtn or glo is 0.79 x 1.9 = N1.50. So with this how can I make profit in this biz if I am to charge a client N1.50? Pls some shud help me, how do I do this? Can any1 suggest to me site I can go for? @goldendiamond pls sir

You can do all that within 3 hours with a fast internet connection using a laptop or desktop computer.

I'm not using it for myself. I want to buy in large qty and do send bulk sms for churches, schools, etc thru advert though and make my profits. As in, I want to be making some earning with it

You are welcome brother. As regards to your question, are you buying it as a Reseller or as an End user. Their prices differ a bit. In everything, SMS is volume driven cus your profits are in kobo's.

Business / Re: 20-simple Businesses You Can Start At Home With N20,000 Or Less by Godiskind: 9:42pm On Aug 25, 2014
I'm yet to understand this unit of a thing. Sir frm ur calc. can we infer that sms billing is more profitable than d unit billing since with 10,000units one cud make profit of N6500 in sms billing while 4000units is made if it is unit billing. How do we compare N6500 as a profit with 4000units as a gain since they are unlike terms? Pls sir ur explaination will help. Thanx
goldendiamond:

that is a silent fraud.1.9units is too much.most sms sites charge 1unit for glo, airtel, etisalat & 1.5units for mtn so get a new sms site.its better to bill on number of sms for your client's benefit however it also depends on volume of sms u're sending so your best option is to get a cheap & reliable sms platform.
for example if u buy
10,000 units at 85k thats N8500 and you sell at N1.50k thats N15,000. lets assume you send to
6000 mtn lines at 1.5units = 9000 units and
4000 non mtn lines at 1unit= 4000units
total sms required for
10,000 gsm lines = 13,000 units
so u need to explain the mtn rate to your clients
Business / Re: 20-simple Businesses You Can Start At Home With N20,000 Or Less by Godiskind: 8:41pm On Aug 25, 2014
Can u enlighten me on dis ur calculation. I want to start bulk sms biz. I thought d biz is llke if u get sms at say 85kobo per sms u sell at mayb 150kobo per sms and make profit of 65kobo per sms. What I dont understand is dis ur unit stuff. Pls can u expantiate. Thanx
etcme: For those of us who have joined bulk sms biz or aspiring to start, before you patronize any bulk sms site, make sure you make your research very well. Most sites will sell too cheap as low as 0.90k per sms while in the actual sense, they are giving you a service of 1.5 units per sms which is 0.90 x 1.5 = 1.35k per sms.
I also discovered that you can get more clients in your area by pasting your adverts (remember my style) in barbing saloons. Their is high traffic there.
@OP, pls permit me to paste some of your first page teachings here before the data lost for the benefit of those who are just joining. I saved most of them. Waiting your approval sir.
God bless our efforts!

My problem in starting is that d prices I got in chemical store in umuahia is far above the prices u stated. For example, u stated on page 0 that soda ash, caustic soda is N90 for 1/2 kg but in d store I was told that 500g container of soda ash likewise caustic soda is N2,500. So imagine d gap.... Are they differnt or what?

Tin milk cup for big qty and spoon for little qty

Heyllo Sir, it shouldn't be. You see, this thing is so easy-once you get the concept.

I remember in the former thread, some guys were like they prefer the measurement in kgs and litres. I remember always asking them to choose what means of measurement they prefer before posting any formula then.

Now, I want the house to suggest what method of measurement we should be using from now on.

Awaiting your responses.

Thanks.
