Crime / Re: CCTV Video Of Baba Ijesha Molesting The 14-Year-Old Girl Released (Censored) by Gokey15: 4:47pm On May 02, 2021 |
Where is your evidence of 7 years ago? It is an allegation without any evidence. Law does not work on supposition or emotion but fact. What is apparent in the current one and in the CCTV video we have all seen confirms touching of a supposed child but it appeared it was set up or entrapment. Then what does law say about entrapment? While it is not a defence but it could throw a lot of problems for prosecution in that it can give rise to abuse of process to proceed with prosecution namely you cannot commit a crime to catch a criminal act - they have used a vulnerable child to bait a paedophile which can be deemed as inciting or encouraging a child sexual offence just to catch Babaijesha. Minus the emotion of child age there was pockets of willingness on the side of the child to engage in the act from the CCTV video whether set up or not which would take some frown on the case. Also there was no penetrative act in what was seen been done by babajesha and it will be wrong miscarriage of justice for anyone to insinuate otherwise or imagine one had happened in the past without evidence. Whilst we are charged up on repugnant of reprehensible behaviour, human right dictates we must not forget interest to fair justice to all concerned inclusive of babajesha. Justice must be done but it must be fair to all parties otherwise we are banana Republic - this is why lady justice symbol is blind. Based on the video minus allegation of past incident that cannot be proven against Babajesha, both Princess and babajesha have committed an act against sexual offence act as per UK law that I know Princess - Causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. If found guilty on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum or 14 years on indictment Babajesha - sexual assault of a child. If found guilty on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum or 10 years on indictment Both offences are bailable and I don't know why people are asking for life imprisonment or he be killed? People needs to calm their emotions down and allow justice to take his course. Babajesha is a person and no matter what deserves befitting justice and not barbarian emotion being displayed out there... How? Did you not read from the narrative that he forced himself on the lady? The man rent the lady's heart with money and once money stopped, the woman returned to her senses. If you no pay your rent, what do you think would happen. akinade28: 1 Like 1 Share |

What a hopeless person you are! So in your twisted mind only Christian must be seen in the protest despite the fact that being raped has no attachment to any religion, race, creed or belief. With people like you there is no hope in humanity. Now it is pulling the Christianity down now in your thinking. I am sorry for you... xarm: 1 Like |

Stick to the context of discussion which is about church breach of peace of a poor judge and beating her up when she complained. The judge has not be said to be Muslim and was not fighting them because of Christian faith but noise that they can control. I agree you want to water down the impact by bringing up mosque into it. The person has not said they are speaking on behalf of mosque or Muslim. We are Nigerians we know that mosque could also be guilty of noise but let us deal with issue at hand which is church. When it is mosque situation we will talk about them too. samuel900: |

What an ignorant view! You were not there and you have suddenly know she was in the wrong. What is it with Nigeria that stopped some people from having rational thinking faculty? Someone from what we have read had followed right channel and claimed she was assaulted when she decided to gather evidence to support her claim with church authorities but you suddenly turned complainant to a bad person. The report says she has been enjoying quiet life in the neighbourhood until church decided to erect their structures and continued to make noises unabated every hours of the day. If she was your mum, would you side religion over right to her peaceful existence being trampled? For God this is a judge that has served her country in good stead unlike you who runs on religion jaundice in your sight of reasoning. PLEASE GET A LIFE AND EDUCATION!!! Gratefulheart01: |

Permit me to say out of the numerous comments I have read on this man's assertion I found yours to be on the lane of enlightenment. I can't imagine most of the people abusing the guy who was pointing on the morale lane of humanity fails to understand the lowest depth we have sunk as a nation. As long as money is involved anyone can be bought... Surely, there is something wrong with Nigerian education if most of our people commenting here took the lazy pedestrian view of -- he is jealous, is he your body etc. What part of the guy's view reflect this I am yet to find? No wonder Nigeria is sinking to abysmal depth of no return with this generation. Now they want Buhari to go so that youth can lead but the youth who cannot grasp intellectual discourse! mapet: |

Stop conflating the issue here man. I understand your tales by moon light. But then slapping another woman ass is a serious as it goes. It is this complacency that has got most African descent or Nigerian men in trouble with the law in the UK. You are better start taking it seriously less your burble is waiting to get burst. You can always avoid it, it is not worth your life and others connected to it. You face what you are in market for and other side attractions are not worth their pain... On Zimbabwean man, try to act as they do in Rome, if you bring a woman and things are not what it seems anymore, you can always walk away. It is simple as bet9ja you win some and you lose some end off! Beating a woman is not the way forward, you can't force anyone to love you again no matter what you have done for them to get them into a position in life. The problem with most men in such situation is that they often use their status of presence in abroad to reach a woman that would not have rolled with them if they were not abroad in the first place (women not in their league if they were in the same country). And when these women reached 'bodo oyinbo' and realised they are not their number (as in won kere si number won) wahala or gbege go come start. Instead of guy man to realise that bubble don burst make him move on them go wan follow corpse enter grave like yeye flies.... Na there fight and domestic abuse they start but oyinbo no send you there is a law in place and anyone found wanton will face its consequence shikena... kushme: |

Probably yes as you are a danger to the public given seriousness of sexual offences. There is a law in place that deportation of person's imprisoned for more than 2 years must be considered by judge at sentence. And that has led to The Home Office’s “deport first, appeal later” policy for removing foreign criminals which has been ruled unlawful by the supreme court. But then, can't say if the Home office still continues to pursue such policy. People not born in UK always stand that chance to be deported if they commit serious offences, remember British passport is a privileged which should not be a bar for removing dangerous offenders. There are argument to say it could be a double jeopardy but then one should be careful not to find oneself in such situation in the first place. It is shameful for someone to have to explain they were deported for an offence they can avoid in the first place. AreaFada2: |

I thought divulging victim's identity in a sensitive case such as this is a crime, though not by the victim. You never know, you may be leaving yourself vulnerable to an unknown risk. Please always use 'a friend of friend' as narrative next time for this matter.... Can't say more than this, there is a reason why RAPE and sex offence victims are automatically given lifelong anonymity under UK law. However, anonymous the internet may seems, clever people can still manage to unravel your identity with unknown consequence possible for you... Lalas247: 1 Like |

Why are you so condescending to others? A respectable debaters is one who rise above others with superior argument! All I see from your responses is bully as it appears to me you want others to take your word for authority without earning any respect. You have said nothing convincing to back your assertions so far. If you deemed yourself better than others and becomes irritated from small divergent assertion from yours then this forum is not for you. Your current posture is norm with most Nigerians that parade themselves as superior to others without saying anything tangible or bringing anything cogent to the table of dialogue/argument/discussion. No wonder the whole space of Nigeria reeks of mediocrity. chocberry: |

No one is quoting you but I was only responding to the video you posted and the fact that you badly misunderstood its message. Perhaps Ahmadu Bello in that video spoke in an accent you don't often hear in Nigeria - it is British accent which is a testament to the fact that he was not only educated but have somewhat grasp of English Language to the native speaker level. Next time try to understand fact that you want to use to buttress your argument. killsmith: |

I don't think you comprehend what was being said in the video. The man Ahmadu Bello was talking with respect to Northern region and he is entitled to support his people within the context of that time. He was talking about putting Northerner first in the Norther enclave before any other tribes and his fear as espoused is the ever present attempt of Igbo to seek to dominate others wherever they go. In fact he went further to say towards the end of the clip that it was rare for Northern men to be employed in other region at the time except for labourer's job. Fast forward to today, how easy do you think it is for any other Nigerians to acquire property in Igbo land despite Igbo's easy access to acquisition of properties in other parts of Nigeria? royalamour: 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Well said. Out of their hatred they want to throw baby away with bath water. Most advanced countries support farming but to Nigerian farming is only cash crop failing to understand cattle rearing is a form of (animal) farming. So if government can subsidise fertilizer there is nothing wrong in supporting animal farmers. Colonies (may be a better word would have sufficed) is an attempt to ensure consequential perennial volatile issues associated cattle grazing into other people's farms is prevented and everyone is duty bound to look constructively at ways to ensure it works for the benefit of the country. The last time I check Nigeria does not import beef and if care is not taken beef go soon become imported commodity! kenonze: |

Come to think of it, we also need cattle as much as we need oil refineries. It was not long ago we woke up to rude reality tomato scarcity and realised how it is important as every other commodities. I am not in support of any tribe but it will be in our interest to see common stakeholder interest in the breeding of these animals and it would be our collective interest to fashion out solution as opposed to fingerpointing hatred. Do we also want to start importing cattle if we make its rearing difficult in our country simply because people who are involved in it are not from our tribes? killsmith: |
