These are just generic reasons for the denial. I will advise that you order for the GCMS note immediately. With GCMS note, you will be able to know the exact reasons why your visa was refused. Goodluck.
Popson09: Good day guys, I just received my second refusal letter. Please I need your advice on how to tackle the reasons for my refusal. Attached is the letter from IRCC
I think we need to be careful with GIC. If you read from the link above, it can be seen that many guys are having problems getting their money back from CIBC even after visa rejection. We need someone to educate us about this.
Thanks
MarksmanD: Why don't you transfer the money to your account or do GIC?
You'd better start calling for funds and not even think about getting a job in that part of Canada to pay your school fees or rent. My friend's wife is in college in London and has been unable to find a job for over 10 months now. The husband has been selling properties in Nigeria to support her, and she complains that many students are in a similar situation!
MarksmanD: You submitted August 8th. I submitted July 3rd. We have people on this platform who submitted June who are yet to get a decision or an update on their application. Also, IRCC has increased their processing time for Nigeria from 6 weeks to 8 weeks. If we are to use the usual 6 weeks to evaluate your application, you're still a week and 2 days away from panicking. Now that processing time is 8 weeks, you're 3 weeks and 2 days to be anxious about your application. I'll advise you to relax and take your mind off the application. Do some fun activities while you wait. When it's exactly 8 weeks and you haven't gotten an update, you can send a webform. Don't get yourself anxious on what you don't have control over.
I submitted the application for study visa since August 8 by using a new GCkey account but I have not heard anything from IRCC.
Kindly help me look at my application timeline, Can someone tell me when am I going to receive decision and what is likely to happen to my application?
When canada request for ur passport visitor or student visa ,You can actually submit ur passport for visa stamping at any canada vfs in the world and no need send ur passport back to nigeria!
Hi, I quoted @Africankel because you replied that @piscesnow can submit her passport in US. Pls I need contribution from everyone.
I am submitting Student visa here in Nigeria but I need to travel out immediately after that. Whenver High Commision Canada in Lagos requests for my passport for visa stamping, can I send my passport to Nigeria(Canadian Embassy) for visa stamping using Two-way Courier Service? Is there no illegality doing so or any risks?
I will appreciate if other people can contribute to this also.
Thanks
piscesnow: Hello fam. Please quick question. I just got PPR yesterday and I am traveling tomorrow to be back on the 14th of January. Also saw that PPR validity request is for 30days. Hello Boss, What can you say about St Claire College in Windsor? Is it possible to get side hustle ASAP`? Also, do you know anyone in Data Analytics field in Ontario or anywhere in Canada?
House, kindly reply to my post.
JMG12: Humber College is good, but there is speculation that they might be affected by the current PGWP policy. living expenses 20,600CAD
Hi, Pls do you have any tips on FSA-4 form. A university requested me to fill the form as part of admission requirements. The main point is that, I am looking for scholarship/tuition waiver.
This is the season of application fee waiver, Northeastern University, Miami University, Oxford and Georgia Southern University are currently waiving application fees for a period of time with unlimited scholarships. Additionally, the state of Arizona will be waiving applications this November Watch video to apply
IMO, I think this is good. Your funding is almost double the average cost. All the best.
mayDtolu: Pls, I will be having my interview soon, Help me check the financial part of my i20 below. I was thinking student funding should be equal to estimated average cost.
Righthussle: The religion is a fraud. Bunch of old thieves and liars.
If you're a young person reading this comment and after working so hard to make your money, you give these thieves money and believe in your heart that you're giving whoever made the universe money, you're a big fool.
When you give them your hard earned money know that you're are only helping them pay for the personal armed security they use.
You're helping them and their children buy petrol for their exotic cars.
You're helping them buy more expensive designer perfumes and clothings.
You're helping them buy more land to build more expensive schools for children.
You're helping them pay for their children's overseas school fees.
Whatever or whoever made the universe CANNOT need human money for ANYTHING .
Bro, don't mind them. You are the type that will afford to pay school fees for your kids anywhere in the world when the time comes. Meanwhile most of their kidsib Youkay are stabbing themselves because the parents have to be on the streets working tirelessly. Many kids will never set foot on Nigerian soils any more. They are lost to western world.
You guys should understand that It's not every Nigerians that are obsessed with Japa. If you move abroad, you can't eat your cake and have it. If you stay in Nigeria, you can't also eat your cake and have it.
I will not reply Japa crusader because my phone is faulty now.
This is what we are talking about. With time, you will change your job with better pay sef. I can't imagine what wealth you are gonna accrue in many years to come. Just dey low key and you will continue enjoying your life in Naija.
I have a friend that used to go for vacation atleast once year from Naija. Neighbors, cowokers don't even know about it. Tell me how the guy will be a victim of kidnapping.
Sadly what most Nigerians are only good at oppressing the poor in society.
verybadmouth: I no talk sey money no dey there oo. Bill sef no be small thing. As you dey collect, you dey spend. I'm a mobile app developer here in Nigeria and work for a US company remotely. Bro, it pays me here. My rent is just 250k yearly in Lagos. I have people that pay over 1 million monthly in London. They are crying
Itâs a note that contains the specific reason/circumstances that the Visa Officer considered in arriving at his decision on an applicantâs visa application , whether approval or denial.
To all of you warmongers, you have no idea what you are commenting here. Go and check out what become of Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya. No one knows what the aftermath of the war will look like.
I pray it may not end up increasing terrorism in Nigeria. Northern Nigeria is Niger and Niger is Northern Nigeria. Their citizens may cause more havoc than their military. There is tussle of powers in Niger right now, we have no business in all this, honestly.
With this shegebanza in Nigeria, some of you are still drumming for war. Smh
And so? The UK government will give them 30 million pounds upon landing in UK. Free housing, free cars, free healthcare etc. most people that japa to America earn over $1M per month from menial jobs. Nigeria is a bad country I swear. I have an uncle who japa with his family to UK. After a month over there, he bought a duplex worth over 300 million naira in Nigeria and thatâs just below his monthly earning over there. Naira don cast, make people japa abeg
Don't mind them. Many Nigerians live to work in diaspora. They are strangers to their kids. I will repeat it, if you are doing pretty well in Nigeria and you are not less than 35 yrs, and you are not in tech, and your are not in medical field, stay your ass down and build your empire for your kids to travel to anywhere they want for their studies. Don't sell off your property!
In Youkay, If you get security job, you must throw party for hommies . People like us dey Nigeria but we still dey abroad. I got friends and relatives scatter across the world. I will only go abroad to get my own tech money
Many of them are close to 40 or above 40, no tech skills, and not in medical fields, the struggle will be real in UK for them. Right now, even in some parts of UK, some nurses are not getting enough shifts. Person go just be living to work menial jobs for years. To survive with minimum wage, you got to do overtime.
Most of that extra jobs are nerve cracking jobs o. Standing for several hours everyday such as toilet cleaning, dishwasher, mid-night newspaper delivery or cleaning up sh.tting old white people asses. In many parts of Europe, people do this job for decades . A friend of mine in Germany was talking about cleaning job without any shame. He has msc degree from Nigeria. He has been institutionalized patapata. I respect people engaging in those jobs but me? No way.
Funny thing is that Nairalanders that are experiencing this used to keep quiet here.
Lastly and to reiterate, anyone struggling in Nigeria should leave if they have the means but don't sell your house in gbanjo o .
I wish I have the time to reply you explicitly but I will try my best this time.
Let's not even talk about Europe because that's total bullcr.p. If you don't have proper documentation in Europe, that's tantamount to disaster. The only place undocumented immigrants can have some breakthrough is USA. How many Nigerians are doing one job(8hrs/day) and earn above 100k USD/yr even in USA? Give the figure if you have it. There is life and work balance.
I still stand by my take. Japa should be for strugglers but not for 3000 USD/month earner in Nigeria. Na Buhari took Nigeria to it's lowest low. People returned to Nigeria in droves during Jonathan era. Let's pray for better Nigeria because there are many diasporans that don't want to be buried in obodo oyinbo.
As I have said, we are engineered differently. There are people that just wants to live a comfortable lives that are free of working like jackie for the rest of their lives. At your bolded, this is not me actually. Also, I have a friend that have everything to Japa but decided to stay put because he used to visit his relatives in North America when he was doing his PhD(FG sponsorship) and saw the way they are living with complaints about finances. My friend's wife is even a nurse. He told me that he is not relocating anywhere. No one in his neighborhood knows that he used to go abroad for holiday. He always go to the airport with his luggages whenever he wants to catch flight. So, not everyone has those oppression mentality pls. Dont generalized Nigerians. There are good people in Nigeria.
What about Japarians that return to Nigeria and start oppressing from the airport? Are they not part of the society?
If you can be able to reach 20 yrs old before leaving Nigeria, we are all in this together. At some point, many of you will miss home. And if you don't miss home, that's good for you.
Truth is most Nigerians like to be rich in an environment where there's lots of poor & desperate people, whereas Anglo-Saxons tend to be expansive in their definition of the good life.
What the anti-Japa team is trying to say is that with $3K per month they can inflict a copious dose of physical & psychological sadism on other humans with whom they interact in Nigeria. That's the typical Nigerian mindset, they love to INFLICT suffering on others and watch the results. Why else is Nigeria in perpetual crisis?
That was serious. Anyway, those guys are smart dudes and well trained. Congratulations!!!
TenaciousOrphan: My Visa Interview Transcripts (Caveat Long Read) Sorry for posting it now, I wanted to see how my visa looks like first. Accept my apology.
I started applying to schools since 2019 but I promised myself that I wonât go to the embassy until I get full funding. I have been making application mistakes since that time until I discovered what I was doing wrong. So I applied in 2019, 2021 but was not successful. In 2022 applications I applied to 11 Schools and got 5 Fully Funded PhD Admissions. My Interview Profile and Transcripts is below: NB: This white VO on earpiece was denying plenty people, so I was always pretending to use the toilet. 3 times I left the queue but was still sent back by the CGI official. Profile: School: Florida State University Program: PhD in Sociology Funding: Fully Funded ($52, 211) Interview Location: Lagos Interview Date: July 7th 2023. Interviewed by: The dreaded VO on earpiece. First Time. Status: Visa Approved VO: He signal me to come forward. Me: Good Morning but he didnât respond. VO: Where do you work and what do you currently do? Me: I work at xyz University as a Research and Administrative Assistant and my duties includesâŚVO cuts in VO: Are you married? Me: Yes, with a son. VO: Why are you applying alone without your family? Me: My wife is currently busy at her work place and her annual leave was not granted. VO: So are you saying you will be staying in the US for 5 to 6years without your family? It is better you guys go together for this period of your study, are you processing hers already? -set up question 1. Me: My wife wanted to accompany me to settle down and return to resume her work but her annual leave was not approvedâŚ..because sheâs currently very busy in her place of work. VO: So you mean they will never come to the US throughout your program? Me: She will visit when she is free at her work place. She also needs to develop her career too as I am doing mine. I will also be visiting when I have the time. VO. Since you are going for a PhD, will it not make sense to get a job in the US after your graduation? Because you will earn more money in the US and so many universities will be looking for your service. - set up question 2. Me: That will not be possible because I am signing a bond with my University in Nigeria and if I disappoint on that bond, they will report me to all the universities in Nigeria and the school I am attending in the US. And this will seriously affect my career. So even though it would have been better itâs not possible. VO: Where do you work again and what do you do? Me: I work as a Research and Administrative Assistant at XYZ university. At this point he checked my Linked profile and search google to confirm. I saw his computer reflection in his glass window. VO: How many schools did you apply to? Me: 11 schools and 5 gave me fully funded PhD admissions VO: I will be approving your visa. Me: Thank you and I did not hear any other thing he said. I just left the hall very fast. Though I later came back because the applicant before me mistakenly packed my documents.
I left the embassy after giving out some free Will gifts to the few beggars I saw on the way. When I got to my hotel I started playing a song by Edna Ogholi titled: âOkeoghene Omai womaâ in my language; which when translated means âGod time is the bestâ and shared tears of joy. Thanks a million to those who have contributed to my success in this Journey. Especially Mr Firebreeze (a candle loses nothing by lighting another), Fairheart, Faith-my sister that got her Visa at the 11th time of asking amongst others. I am honored.
