You don't need to go to a branch. Let the account holder log on to the Bank's internet or mobile banking app and choose send statement option. You will select Canada and they will also state/select if account so for applicant or sponsor. Statement is sent directly to IRCC while a certificate is sent to the email address linked to the account. The certificate generated on both accounts is what you will upload via webform to IRCC. That means your are uploading 2 Certificate (Stanbic and First Bank) I hope this helps and you are able to sort this out asap. If you have access, it can be done tonight and it takes less than 5 minutes. Mummy4life1: 3 Likes 1 Share |

Please try not to carry anything chicken flavoured to avoid trashing it. I am not sure of Canada's rule but the USA will trash it at the airport once they see anything with Chicken written on it. Thank you Lekiboboe: |

Please order your GCMS notes to get an insight into what led to the final decision stated below. Once you are able to ascertain the reason, this would be addressed appropriately in your SOP when re-applying. nikejane: |

Stanbic has MBS on the web internet banking. Log on and select Bank Statement, choose Canada, state the period and confirm charges. Voila, you are done in less than 5 minutes and you have the ticket to download for your application. may99: |

Yes, that's true. If you have a tattoo or tribal mark, you will have to pay additional fees for extra test. I think it's about 7k or so. Toopee: 1 Like |

Go with your International passport and tell them it's upfront medical. Your payment evidence will be on your phone to show them if they ask. I suggest you go early, so you can get started asap. They don't really follow appointment time. Na first come first serve as long as you are scheduled for that day This is based on my experience last week. Thank you Ekulu77: 4 Likes |

I am in the same situation but had to make a hard decision after considering all factors especially the reason for doing this. Cost of Preschool for toddlers isn't cheap depending on the province you are considering. NB quote was at average of $140/wk/child which comes to over $1k per month aside other expenses. Assuming one can afford the financial expenses, how will caring for them all alone be? This is in addition to the school work and settling into a new environment. Imagine having classes and the school call you or having a class running late into the night with 2 kids calling for your attention. Not an easy decision but will ultimately pay off at the end. It will end in Praise!!! SweetJJ: |

if the ultimate goal is proving your relationship to your sponsor, this can be achieved with your Marriage certificate and any other document showing his relationship to your husband. It is in this part of the world that women are compelled to change their names after marriage. Whether your last name reflects that of your husband or otherwise wouldn't affect the decision on your application to the extent the rship is well spelt out. Wishing you the best of luck!! Thank you @justmellow. I studied Business Administration as my 1st degree and have worked in the Banking industry for the past 18 yrs. My story will be centered around career progression. Can I still order the GCMS note for a 2019 refusal on Visitors Visa? If yes, I will get on to it asap. Would I be requesting for both application or the last one? This is my 1st Study permit visa application. Thank you for your suggestions and advise. JustMellow: |

will be requiring your expertise as i commence this journey and put my documents together. Initial reason for refusal for Visiting Visa in Dec 2018 & Feb 2019 are below: 1. Leaving Canada based on Family Ties in Canada & Nigeria 2. Leaving based on purpose of visit 3. Personal Assets & Financial Status. Upon the second application it was refused based on Purpose of Visit only. I know my SOP/LOE for the Student Visa needs to be very detailed and am willing to commence work on it asap to ensure i leave no stone unturned. From the last visa refusal in Feb 2019, family ties has become stronger as i didn't have my kids then. Will greatly appreciate all support from yourself and other gurus in the house for a successful application. Course - MBA St John - Fall 2021 (hoping i can pull this through) POF - Sufficient and excess funds for Tution and Living Expenses Family Ties - Kids, Husband and Parents. Landed properties in my name Employment - Stable Employment with 1 yrs experience. Reason for study is Career Progression. N.B - Would love to have my twins go with me as they are relatively young (less than 3 yrs), but considering the complexity i am considering applying for them after my SP has been approved. Implication will mean deferring my admission when granted. I have a sister who lives in Canada, while the other one has a Canadian PR but resides in the USA. Thank you for your suggestions, advise and support as a i am positive of a successful application. @frankrobbyn, @justmellow @lekkiboboe and other gurus in the house. Pls assist. |

Good evening and thank you for the useful info on the various threads. I was considering a Express Entry and strated with my ECA, unfortunately WES report stated my EMBA is from an unrecognized institution. This made me start to consider the School route, considering Age factor as well My question is if I should state I have an EMBA when applying to the school/ Visa via SOP and Letter of Intent or be quiet about it and use my B.Sc degree and work experience. Also, I will like to take my kids along as they are just turning 2. Would this be a good reason and not work against me in terms of Home ties. Grateful for your suggestions and advise. |

Yes, you get a Letter confirming the validity of your Biometircs for 10 years once same is received at the VFS centre. Your visa approval or otherwise will come much later upon reaching a decision. DUPSYSPARKLE: 1 Like |

You are free to express your opinion. Note that this was 2017 and we weren't pregnant at that point. There is no law against staying for the period which he was stamped in for and didn't overstay. Also, the view of the VO is valid and this can be viewed from different perspectives which will not be wrong. What suggestion do you have for me in regards to the question asked? Thank you overlord77: |
Travel / Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by goldee29: 3:38pm On Feb 03, 2019 |
Well, he gave explanation that it was both business and vacation trip which made him spend some time. I was sick that day and declared that I was also considering giving birth in the US after conceiving after over 10 years of marriage and having a high risk pregnancy. VO said US has high mortality rate and that I could go to England, South Africa etc and that cost of birthing is high. Me: Am not aware of the mortality rate he mentioned and stated we could afford the treatment. Was bringing out docs from my Employer and account statement but he objected to seeing any doc. VO: How long will I be staying? Me: about 3 months as I have to travel early because of Drs advise latest 28 weeks. Hubby will take me now and come back when the baby comes. VO: Am sorry and hands over the blue paper but said we can reapply and that this is a joint application so he isn't convinced with hubby's explanation. This is my reason for applying alone this time around. Also, should I apply with my mum or separately for her as I will require assistance when the baby comes due to CS mode to be used. Lastly, if am able to get the visa within the timeline? Assuming I got the visa using Houston hospital but went to another location to birth due to family support though at a higher cost. I have appointment and Bill from Dr Fagbohun already. Thank you for your suggestions. goldee29: |

Good morning Lagos NIV, Is it possible to get an expedited appointment scheduled after an initial refusal under section 214b without waiting for 6 months? Appointment date coming up considers a 6 months waiting period of renewal? Thank you. |
