Politics / Rivers Apc Crisis No One Can Rewrite History. by Gonum10Gonum(m): 9:19pm On Nov 05, 2019
RIVERS APC CRISIS
NO ONE CAN REWRITE HISTORY.

Nigerians are aware that the crisis in the APC in Rivers state had its origin in the unconstitutional decision of the leader of the party in the state, Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi to summarily expel me, and other leaders of the party in the state seen as Sympathetic to my Governorship ambition for no discernible reason.

He announced this publicly at the meeting of Party stakeholders held at the Dome.
He stated at that meeting that Senator Abe and all those sympathetic to him must leave the party and went further to state that he was ready to destroy the party in Rivers state to Achieve that objective.

Despite the pleas of several leaders present at that meeting. In fact Mr Loolo Ibieneye told him that the path he has chosen was not only unconstitutional but will lead the party to disaster.

Incidentally this was the last day that Rivers APC sat together in Unity with Amaechi present.
The directive to unilaterally exclude party members from all party activities without due process is the origin and the root of the Crisis in the party.

Indeed prior to the troubled congresses the then state chairman of the party Chief Ibiamo Ikanya called an all inclusive stakeholders/state SEC meeting of Rivers APC where all the issues were amicably resolved, including the distribution of forms to all aspiring party members.

An all inclusive committee was set up to implement the resolutions of that meeting, as soon as the Minister was informed of this move, he not only dissolved the Comittee, but he voided the efforts and consensus decisions reached by the entire leadership.

He directed that in keeping with his earlier directives at the Dome, members of the party perceived as sympathetic to Senator Abe be excluded from the Congresses and denied the forms they paid for.

Those members Ibrahim Umar and 22 others went to court, they rightfully secured an injunction on the facts which he again directed the party to disobey. The rest as they say is history.

In an unprecedented sponsored media campaign the facts were buried and recrafted, one Chukwuemeka Eze a hired publicist for the minister became face of this attempt to rewrite history.
Those who went to Court were accused of working for Governor Wike and the PDP, the courts were promoted as Wike’s supermarkets, some of Amaechi’s publicist such as Oby Ndukwe, and Lucky Worlu went as far as accusing me of plotting with the Vice President to kill President Buhari and collecting billions of Naira From Governor Wike and the PDP to destabilize the APC in Rivers state.

I was painted to the Nigerian public as a desperate politician who destroyed his party because of his personal ambition.

These false and baseless allegations moved beyond the social media and became accepted as truth to a point were credible media like THE NATION NEWSPAPER, and THE VANGUARD were confident enough to carry this smear campaign on their pages and give it legitimacy and credibility.

It is for this reason that I have instituted suit PHC/3314/2019-SENATOR MAGNUS ABE VS. 1. CHIEF EZE CHUKWUEMEKA EZE 2. VINTAGE PRESS LIMITED (Publisher of the Nation Newspaper) 3. DELE ADEOLUWA 4. BISI OLANIYI.

Also Suit No. PHC/3663/2019 ~ Senator Magnus Ngei Abe vs. 1. Sir{Hon.} Lucky Worluh. 2. Vanguard Media Limited{Publisher, Sunday Vanguard}. 3. Davies Iheamnachor{Reporter, Sunday Vanguard}. 4. Wale Akinola{Editor, Sunday Vanguard}, to give an opportunity to those who have made these allegations in an effort to rewrite the history of the Rivers APC Crisis to come before the courts , and the public and present the facts on which they stand.

My integrity and my reputation remain my most valuable assets, if I loose that to the politics of hate and deceit then I would have lost everything.

My lawsuit therefore is not intended as a war against any media house, it is a rather open challenge to those who have peddled falsehood when they know the truth to now present the facts behind their falsehood or forever be shamed to silence.
My lawsuit is not targeted at any media house it is rather an opportunity for those who proclaim this wickedness to bring their facts before the courts and justify their perfidy.
I appeal to all men of goodwill to remember that all the gold on earth is worth nothing if we lose our name.
I plead for your cooperation and understanding.

Chief Senator Magnus Abe.

Politics / Calls For Internal Democracy In Rivers Apc,A Viable Opportunity To Reconcilation by Gonum10Gonum(m): 2:23pm On Sep 03, 2019
RENEWED CALLS FOR INTERNAL DEMOCRACY IN RIVERS APC, A VIABLE OPPORTUNITY TO MIDWIFE RECONCILIATION ~~Rivers State APC Visionary Media Team (RAVIMT).

The Rivers State APC Visionary Media Team (RAVIMT) hails and celebrates the increasing calls for Internal Democracy by members of the party in the State, especially those who prior to the 2019 primaries and general elections held contrary positions.

We also use this medium to appeal to the leadership of the party at all levels to see this renewed progressive position by members of both factions of the party in Rivers State as a reflection of the general mood of majority of the party's membership and immediately leverage on this to commence the process of healing and reconciliation across the party in the state.

We are particularly calling on the Adams Oshiomole-led National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress to explore ways of resolving the Rivers APC imbroiglio with the same level of wisdom and maturity displayed in remedying the hitherto boiling situation in his home State, Edo, to the admiration of many Nigerians.

We had earlier held, that the principles of Internal Democracy do not only revolve around the right to choose and aspire for elective positions, but also, ensure the protection of the rights of every party member to be consented in critical decision making process of the party. That is why Progressive politics is the product of collective interest and not the interest of one man or a few, as clearly stated in the lofty ideals of "PROGRESSIVE CHANGE" in our great party, the APC.

For the party to make any meaningful progress therefore, all issues surrounding the grievances of Ibrahim Umar and 22 others must be thoroughly addressed while a machinery is put in place to avoid actions and inactions by all categories and levels of the party's leadership that may result in the repetition of such humongous loss as the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State suffered in 2019.

The Universe, according to Francis Bacon, 'must not be narrowed down to the limit of our understanding, but our understanding must be stretched and enlarged to take in the image of the universe'.

Let us make haste while it is yet day... And may God help us.

Robertson Jack,

Politics / Amaechi's Announcement Of Rivers Apc Congress, Unacceptable - Abe by Gonum10Gonum(m): 6:08pm On Aug 26, 2019
Press Release

AMAECHI'S ANNOUNCEMENT OF RIVERS APC CONGRESS, UNACCEPTABLE - ABE

...insisting, he's still in politics, though out of office

Immediate past Senator representing Rivers South-East Senatorial District, Magnus Ngei Abe, has described as unacceptable, the announcement by the Minister of Transportation, Mr. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi on the conduct of congresses of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State.

Amaechi had reportedly announced to his supporters shortly after his inauguration in Abuja by President Muhammadu Buhari that there would be congress in the state without cognizance to the existing judicial pronouncements on subject matter and the need for consultation as it affects the interest of other party members.

Abe spoke at the weekend when members of the APC Visionary Media Team paid him a courtesy visit at his residence in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

He noted that the Minister of Transportation rather than concentrate on achieving the needed contribution to national development is creating another avenue for tension and crisis in the political structure of the party, demonstrating the same unruly behavior that brought the party in Rivers State to a fiasco.

Abe urged the minister to demonstrate his sincerity in rebuilding the party by consulting others and showing respect for the rights and feelings of all members of the party.

The senator, an advocate of internal democracy, and justice, within the party, appealed to members to be resolute and committed to the growth of the party in the state.

He assured the group that even if he is out of office, he is still a politician that is committed to the development of the party, insisting that what is needed is peace, inclusiveness, progress and the commitment of all members to move the party forward.

Abe further said: "Look at the state of our party here today in Rivers State, yet the Minister of Transportation, on assumption of office as Minister of Transportation, the first thing he did was to announce Congresses in Rivers State and I ask myself, this was the same kind of behaviour that led the party to where it is.

"Everybody in Nigeria knows that the origin of the crisis in Rivers APC was from the Congress and how the Congress was handled and there are extant Judicial pronouncements on the last Congress which the party was misled to ignore and we have all kept quiet in the hope that by keeping quiet we will create room for resolution of some of these challenges so the party can move forward.

Instead, you become more brazen in your challenge to the rights, feelings and interest of others within the same political party. How do we do that and expect to make progress?

What kind of Congress, is he the Chairman of the party? Is he the National Working Committee? Is he the Court? What gives him the power to come and announce Congress on the day he was inaugurated as Minister?

Rather than address the issues of the country and the issues of his Ministry, the first thing he could do was to reopen the sourest point in the heart of members of the party. And it is on that basis that party members are deprived of all rights and benefits in the party we all suffered to build. Is that how to grow a political family? Is that how to grow politics? We will not accept that congress.

Sometimes we keep quiet out of respect for the party and out of understanding, but we all know that without justice there can be no peace and without peace, there can be no progress.

We must all recommit ourselves to the need for peace in the party and the way forward to get peace in the party is by ensuring that there is justice, fairness in the party so that everybody can feel free to work together and gather support for the party.

We must try as much as possible to be instruments of peace, unity, and progress within the APC.

Minister, cannot sit in his office and make pronouncement on a matter in which he and several other people have interest, people have gone to court, people have fought for their rights in that congress and the same thing that he did before, by creating confusion in the first place, he is determined to continue to do it because he wants to prove to the world that he is a conqueror. As I said before, nobody can conquer Rivers people.

If you want the support of Rivers people ask for it, work for it and you will get it. Nobody is against anybody. We all left our homes to serve, improve our society and improve ourselves and to do that we need to work with other people.

If we work with others and respect the views and sensibilities of others, it will help in creating an avenue for this party to move forward.

Any other way by force or by fire is nothing but a pathway to self-immolation for the APC in Rivers State and we will not allow anybody to set the party on fire and destroy it.

I appreciate you all for coming to pay this visit on me this morning and to also say as I have said repeatedly, that I remain a committed member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). I am out of office but not out of politics.

Every politician cannot hold office at the same time. So, I really wish to restate that though am out of office. In or out of office, my commitment to our party, my commitment to the development, progress, peace, and prosperity of our country remains unchangeable and whatever position I find myself I will continue to pursue those ideas", Abe added.

Speaking earlier, Robertson Jack, Director General of Rivers APC Visionary Media Team said the visit was necessitated by the need to pledge their unalloyed support to Senator Abe's peaceful disposition in the pursuit of internal democracy, inclusiveness, justice, and equity in Rivers APC and assured that the group will play its role to ensure that the party succeeds in the next level.

Politics / Gov. Wike Should Fight The Increasing Insecurity And Criminality In The State by Gonum10Gonum(m): 10:24am On Aug 13, 2019
A CLARION CALL ON HIS EXCELLENCY, CHIEF NYESOM WIKE, THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF RIVERS STATE TO FIGHT THE INCREASING INSECURITY AND CRIMINALITY IN THE STATE MORE WITH A RESPONSIVE GOVERNANCE. [sub][/sub]
- Rivers State APC Visionary Media Team (RAVIMT).

As a concerned group, the Rivers State APC Visionary Media Team (RAVIMT) is constrained by the increasing insecurity and criminality in the State to call on His Excellency, Chief Nyesom Wike to fight the insecurity more with a responsive governance and less with the show of executive power.

It is an undisputable fact that security and peace can only be found in a State or nation, where:

1. The government makes deliberate efforts to make the citizens (more especially the youths) believe that benefits and economic rewards can only be gotten through legitimate means and anybody caught in the act of crime will certainly and uncompromisingly face the full wrath of the law, irrespective of political affiliations or interest. That has clearly not been the case in our dear State.

2. There are employment opportunities for the youths and people. The Governor should do well to partner with the Federal government on the agricultural revolution and other self sufficiency policies to creat jobs and engage our youths. This is because an idle mind is the devil's workshop.

3. The government through it's agencies should prioritize the reorientation of the youths. There should be massive a reorientation through the media, the government should also engage resource persons to our primary and secondary schools to engage our children on the dangers and pains of cultism and criminality.

4. Armed gangs are seen as public enemies and also enemies to political leaders both in secret and public; and at the time of election and governance. We urge the State government to promote a tradition of discrimination and rejection against all members of armed gangs.

5. Finally, where education is the number 1 priority of government. Education is key, it is one sector that is capable of solving the problems of other sectors; be it health, environmental degradation and insecurity.
An educated mind will live a healthy lifestyle and protect his or her environment. In fact, most of the perpetrators of this criminality in the State are illiterates who see kidnapping and cultism as the only way to financial independence.

We urge the governor to look into the above suggestions as more important in solving the problems of insecurity than the show of executive power, and to as a matter of urgency appoint his cabinet of noble men who can drive these policies selflessly.

Believing that everywhere in the country is insecure like our State is a self deceit and an indication of unpreparedness to solve our problems, but believing that we are the most insecure State is wisdom and an indication of preparedness to solve our problems; a problem that is not selective of political party, tribe or religion.

Rivers State is our own, we don't have anywhere to run to and so we must all show concern irrespective of political affiliation. .

May God help us.

He is persuading Ezedibia to help him stop presidency from the knowledge of his sowore sponsorship.

Politics / It's Needless To Continue Fighting, Group Tells Eze by Gonum10Gonum(m): 10:08pm On Jul 31, 2019
Press Release

IT'S NEEDLESS TO CONTINUE FIGHTING, GROUP TELLS EZE

Yesterday July 30, 2019, we read a write up like others before it written by a self-acclaimed chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze attacking the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike for according to Eze not fulfilling his promise of giving some commissioners’ slot to Senator Magnus Abe thereby breaching the agreement they reached.

Eze also alleged that Abe sacrificed everything, including denying the APC the opportunity to be on the ballot in the last general elections in the state.

No sooner have we read the statement, than we realize how empty the author is and the length he can go to achieve his mischief.

That Eze, an octogenarian that he is yet to come to terms with the saying that ‘there is none as deaf as those who refuse to hear’ is quite unfortunate. It is a common axiom in law that he who alleges must prove, but in his entire ranting and hogwash mere accuse both Governor Wike and Senator Abe without fleshing up his argument as to where, when and how the two political leaders and prominent sons of Rivers State met to negotiate cabinet positions as a recompense for Abe. What balderdash! This to say the least is yet another tale told by an idiot containing nothing.

Paradoxically Eze, who in his words ‘claim to be a close friend of Senator Abe’ could not provide anything concrete to probably convince gullible minds that Abe was all out to deny his party participation in the ballot.

One wonders when it would take the Eze’s of this world and his co-travelers fail to come to terms with the situation on the ground that, "it is needless to continue fighting".

Again, one ill-feeling and malice that Eze will never achieve is to create animosity or discord between the distinguish Senator Abe and his Ogoni brothers. This at best will be a flash in pan, knowing how loved and respected the Senator is amongst his people and Rivers State as a whole.

Going further to accuse Abe of ensuring that all the Ogonis fielded by other political parties either as governorship candidates or deputies were frustrated and or dismantled before the elections is a lie from the pit of hell. Except that Eze wants to tell us that he is clairvoyant to know these things.

It is not an irony of sort that Eze is, on the one hand, accusing Abe of reaping what he sows and on the other hand begging Wike to accommodate him (Abe) and not to abandon him. Why not allow the man to face the consequences of his actions?

Just read what Eze said, “I want to assure Senator Abe and his misguided cohorts that I will not rest until he obtains justice, no matter the odds.” Imagine the beautiful nonsense!

Our honest advice to Eze is to desist from throwing salvos at the wrong person. All followers of political events in the state know how the APC in Rivers State got into a pit before the 2019 general elections. For the likes of Eze who continue to feign ignorance of everything, including when their children defecate at home, they should be reminded by the words of Othman dan Fodio that ‘Conscience is an open wound only truth can heal it’.

Politics / Call Your Attack Dog To Order, gruop Tells Amaechi by Gonum10Gonum(m): 8:13am On Jul 30, 2019
Press Release

CALL YOUR ATTACK DOG TO ORDER, GROUP TELLS AMAECHI

Our attention has been drawn to two recent publications by Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze titled: ‘Anti Amaechi plot: Wike, Abe Take Battle to the senate, Circulate Cooked Documents, Recruit senator Sekibo and 'SP Lawan's maturity makes nonsense of Wike, Abe's N2bn defamation project on Amaechi'.

Ordinarily as stated in several fora, it would have been needless responding to Chief Eze's endless ranting and spurious allegations now or in the future. The reason is that he (Eze) is a man bereft of ideas. It is only reasonable to address the sponsored campaign of calumny and blackmail that he has continuously mounted against the distinguished Senator Magnus Abe; especially knowing where such attacks are emanating from.

The only reason we are writing this is to publicly tell the former Minister of Transport, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi to urgently call Chief Eze to order because he knows for a fact that everything Eze said and has been saying are not only false but a figment of his imagination and unfortunately being bankrolled by himself (Amaechi).

We say this not because we have no confidence in the ability of our lawyers to approach the courts and deal with this matter appropriately but because we strongly believe that our dear State (Rivers) deserves some peace.

Without being sentimental, Chief Eze is neither from Rivers nor resides in the State. It does seem that he has everything to gain from any form of crisis amongst brothers’ rather than something to lose. Therefore, the time has come to do an introspection and allow reason to prevail. Discretion, they say is the better part of valour.

For the umpteenth time, we say this in the interest of the general public, especially those who may read this write up, that Senator Abe is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and has never, and never been involved in any anti-party activities because not only is it dishonorable to do so, but outright dishonest to contemplate such.

Recall that since he left the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), he had never been found to be in a secret touch with Governor Wike or anyone in an opposition party for the purpose of plotting against anyone or try to pull down anyone for whatever reason.

The senator's disagreement with Rt. Hon. Amaechi is strictly on issues and the point of difference is an open book. It remains essentially the need to do things right and secure the best results for our party in Rivers State. We believe that his (Amaechi’s) views to some of these issues are in the public domain.

Abe never bought guns, armed youths or pursued any matter in court in a do-or-die manner as Chief Eze alleges, rather he pursued his case to a logical conclusion and accepted the final outcome of that judicial pronouncements as it were.

He is a committed member of the APC and his support for President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC in the 2019 general elections were to date undeniable. His billboards clearly attest to this and other leaders of the party equally mobilized supporters across the entire state for our party and the votes the president garnered from Rivers State was very encouraging when compared to the 2015 poll.

Having demonstrated such confidence in Mr. President it will be unthinkable, indeed foolhardy that he will now make a detour and start fighting the ministerial nominee even before they were made public.

He had severally solicited public support for the President to deliver the dividends of democracy which he promised the people as well as attract investment to the nation and the needed development.

Or, is Eze simply passing the buck in a way that his principal Rt. Hon Amaechi has spent over N2Bn on the ‘stop Abe campaign' from emerging gubernatorial flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rivers State in the just concluded 2019 general elections and now to physically and politically destroy him?

Is it the same Eze who described Senator Sekibo as 'Wike, Abe's recruit' turned around to commend the Senator because Sekibo demonstrated the true Rivers politics without bitterness which Eze and his paymaster cannot afford because of bigotry and self-aggrandizement?

Amaechi should have known by now that you do not need to pull down anybody in order to move forward in life, therefore, it is expedient that he should call his attack dog, Eze to order. What we need in Rivers State now is peace and development. Conversely what the APC family in Rivers State needs now, more than anything else is unity, peace, and respect for all members. Nothing else!

Politics / Commissioner, Special Adviser Nomination: Senator Magnus Abe Dissociates Self. by Gonum10Gonum(m): 4:41pm On Jul 25, 2019
Press Statement

COMMISSIONER, SPECIAL ADVISER NOMINATION: ABE DISSOCIATES SELF

The attention of Senator Magnus Ngei Abe has been drawn to an online publication making the rounds that he nominated one Commissioner and two Special Advisers to Governor Nyesom Wike to “fill the list of the current cabinet that would be announced few days from now".

A statement by Parry Saroh Benson, Senator Magnus Abe's spokesperson, described the publication as the handiwork of detractors who have orchestrated a well-funded and vicious campaign of calumny against the senator in recent times.

The statement said in part, "the continued attempt to paint Senator Abe as being in a pact with Governor Wike is part of the childish pranks by those determined to destroy the senator physically and politically for his principled stand for internal democracy and due process in the APC family, a just struggle for justice and fairness that captured the imagination of Nigerians across all fault lines”.

It further stated, "Nobody needs to destroy Senator Abe or anyone else before they can achieve their dreams. Indeed, as the Senator himself has said ever so often, there is room enough in the sky for a thousand stars to shine.

“If this latest onslaught is about the ministerial nomination, the Senator has stated time without number that it is the prerogative of Mr. President to pick Nigerians who can help him run the country for the benefit of all.

It is diversionary and unnecessary to continue to smear the reputation of the Senator who has stated over and over again, that he is a committed member of the APC and will remain so.

The statement reiterated Senator Abe's ceaseless calls for peace and harmony not only within Rivers APC but in Rivers State at large.

Let us give Peace in the APC a chance; no man can truncate the destiny of another. Let us also come together to ensure that there is peace in Rivers State. It is time to move on.

Therefore, we urge the general public to disregard this pack of lies as part of the sponsored campaign like all the others before it. This too shall pass.

People should feel free to pursue their legitimate dreams. Senator Abe is not a hindrance to anyone’s advancement and will never be", the statement added.

Politics / Rotimi Amaechi Using His Reappointment To Mock Senator Magnus Abe. by Gonum10Gonum(m): 7:34pm On Jul 24, 2019
THE REVILEMENT AND MOCKERY OF THE DISTINGUISHED SENATOR MAGNUS ABE OVER THE MINISTERIAL LIST IS EXPECTED AND THE IDIOSYNCRASY OF RT. HON. CHIBUIKE AMAECHI AND HIS FOLLOWERS.
- Rivers State APC Visionary Media Team (RAVIMT).

On the July 2, 2019, the Rivers State APC Visionary Media Team, as a group mandated to promote the Progressive CHANGE ideals of the party and to defend the integrity and reputation of our leaders and members who are driven to make the necessary sacrifices to actualize this "CHANGE", against the blackmails of the promoters of the old tradition of dictatorship and imposition, made a public statement to clearly reaffirm the position of the Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe that he was not in any struggle or contest for a Ministerial appointment.

We also went further to state that Ministerial appointments are the exclusive prerogative of Mr. President and so it is beyond any contestation.

That public statement was necessitated by the false speculations and fears been expressed by the followers and some close associates of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi on all Social Media platforms that the Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe was struggling for a Ministerial appointment. This false assumption is simply because they see every APC leader of consequence, with a broad relationship and acceptance across the country from Rivers State, as a threat to their paymaster and so must either remain in perpetual acceptaance to Amaechi's dictates, leave the party or be brought down by any means.

As expected, based on their idiosyncrasy, the followers of RT. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi again went amok yesterday on all Social Media platforms, reviling and making a mockery of the Distinguished Senator over the list of Ministerial nominees.

That brings us to the question if all the struggle for Amaechi to be Minister is to continue his fight against internal Democracy and unity in Rivers State APC?

This is because prior to the 2015 elections, Amaechi himself said that he went to different States to appeal to some National leaders of the party who had disputes against one another to let go and unite for the sake of Buhari's election victory. But prior to the 2019 elections, the same man created, sponsored, promoted and sustained the Rivers APC crises that cost the party it's participation in the 2019 elections, thereby leaving the party without a single elected member today.

Again, as a Transportation Minister in Buhari's 1st tenure, Amaechi was busy supervising rail line projects and Maritime activities in other parts of the country, but never did same anywhere both in our State and our region, the South South region that produces the Nation's wealth. This is contrary to other Ministers who made sure they also developed their States and regions. The only thing Amaechi succeeded in achieving with the Ministerial position was to set party members in the State who were like brothers and sisters against themselves that led the party to the sorry state in which we are presently.

Let us say it for the umptieth time, the Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe do not need to be appointed a Minister to maintain his love and acceptance from the people of Rivers State, across party lines. He has shown an uncommon character and humility that is needed by every well meaning Rivers man. And so it's childish to mock him for a Ministerial nomination that will make no difference.

According to Matshona Dhliwayo, "If you wear a mask for long, there will come a time when you can not remove it without removing your face".

Based on the above, we wish to remind Amaechi and his indoctrinated followers that CHANGE is the law of life, and those who choose PROGRESSIVE CHANGE will always live without the fear of tomorrow.

A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE.

Politics / Rotimi Amaechi Caused The Problems In Rivers State APC Till Date. by Gonum10Gonum(m): 4:15am On Jul 21, 2019
THE TRUTH IS INCONTROVERTIBLE. MALICE MAY ATTACK IT, IGNORANCE MAY DERIDE IT, BUT IN THE END, THERE IT IS!

*~ The Unvanquishable Erudite Hon. Barr. Worgu Boms wrote:

20th July, 2019

To go to the matrimonial home of a party member, call him out with his wife and brother, and tell them that they are poor and therefore, should not dream to improve themselves politically after you have already done so, is to be condemned by all right thinking persons and it can't be too condemned!

Those who think it is fine to behave that way should be allowed their views.
We too, who make no pretences that it is a bad behavior, should also be allowed and not blackmailed into saying that what we esteem from our conscience to be bad is good, all because we were given opportunity to serve mankind!

Condemning evil morning, afternoon and evening, everyday, is commendable to some of us just as commending it by others is good for them.
Let each be allowed his way!

Inducing poor party faithful to part with their cash based on the understanding that they would collect party forms to contest congresses to serve the party and after you collect the cash, you pretend nothing happened between you and them and in fact, teargas them all to ensure they don't get the forms they paid for.

This is fraud according to our Law and also morally despicable.

Those who say the person who behaved that way should be garlanded because he is a benefactor should be allowed their views. It is a reflection of their own world views and upbringing and background which may not be their faults.

Those (I am proudly one of such) who insist that that type of behavior borders on criminality and fraud and should not be encouraged in a political party that preaches change and progressivism if the perpetrator gave us life, should also be allowed to express ourselves and let the man who gave life take his life for expressing our minds!

What is the problem there?

A man goes from one public place to the other, one medium to the other, saying that those who have political preferences different from his are "hungry people".
"They can't bear hunger".
They will soon come and beg" etc etc .
Some say because such a person who talks like that about people should be applauded because he is the one who gives appointment.
If that's your position, I call you no names. We wish them well.

Others (am proudly a leader in this school of thought) are of the view that such a way should be condemned and no amount of time is limited in the condemnation and that it doesn't matter who the person who talks like that is!
What's the problem there?

A person with whom you worked under the most politically trying time, when there was a confederacy to reduce him to nothing politically and after that era and there was success, goes publicly to announce:
"These people have no character"
"They have no conscience".

I am one of those who will not get tired to condemn such outbursts, even if the person saying it gave me life.
You may not like it. Fine!
Neither do I like your keeping quiet in the face of such ungodly way of talking about and treating people unjustly, just because in your view, he gave everyone life!

So, what's the problem?

To condemn evil from morning to night everyday and to, every day and night wink, even encourage it by insulting and framing up those who speak against it, which is better and which helps society?

Views may vary because of personal interest, so why are we annoyed with others for seeing it our own way?
Why call People betrayers merely because they don't agree with your view and options?
Because a person holds a different political preference from the person who gave him appointment, that means automatically, that the person is not only ungrateful, but was picked from the gutter, from no where!
Really?
Interesting!
So be it, next time don't pick him again and it changes nothing whether he was picked from gutters or plucked from heaven : he is entitled to his views had opinions.

Since you are the maker of mankind, stop making him.
Make others.
What's the problem there?

This matter, yes, this matter interests me and I have time and energy for it.
Black mail won't work!

Why isn't Rotimi Amaechi CON, still in the same party with Dr Peter Odili?
Is Odili not his master?
Did you never hear him say Odili picked him from nowhere and made him somebody?
So, why is he not with him?

"To thine own self be true".

Politics / The Lizard Of Ubima, ameachi With His Media Propaganda Against Senator Magnus Abe by Gonum10Gonum(m): 11:20pm On Jul 18, 2019
HIRELING EZE CHUKWUEMEKA EZE'S LUDICROUS AND DIPPY BLACKMAILS AGAINST THE DISTINGUISHED SENATOR MAGNUS ABE, A DISPLAY OF BEWILDERMENT.

- Rivers State APC Visionary Media Team.

It has come to the notice of the Rivers State APC Visionary Media Team (RAVIMT), the increasing rate of very ludicrous blackmails and lies against the person of the Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe by one Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a political hireling of the former Transportation Minister, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi.

Within the past 2 weeks, the said Eze has written over 5 press releases all in a bid to (futilely) paint the Distinguished Senator as a desperate politician just to push him out of the way for his (Eze) paymaster, the former Transportation Minister to have his way and turn the Rivers State APC into his personal property as he has always desired.

Although we are aware that the said Eze is publicly known as a man who feeds on lies and blackmail, but we still find it necessary to present some facts about the enviable track records of the Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe to further prove to the public how ludicrous and dippy the blackmails of Eze are, and why their (Eze and his paymaster) efforts will always be efforts in futility.

1. PRINCIPLE:
Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe is one man that has proven beyond reasonable doubt that indeed there are principled political leaders in our political parties.
His consistency and principle in the advocacy for politics without bitterness and non violence since 1999 can not be disputed by anyone. No matter the level of provocation, the Distinguished Senator has never seen violence or bitterness as an option, and has never used rash words or threats in the pursuit for his ambitions as a politician.
He is also among the very few political leaders who have not been investigated for corrupts practices at anytime. Even when he was on the hot seat as the Chairman Senate / Reps. joint committee on Subsidy, he came out clean to the admiration of all well meaning Nigerians.

2. CHARACTER.
Across the country, Senator Magnus Abe is one political leader that is highly respected for his character. He's compassionate, grateful, humble, down to earth and detribalised by nature.

After the expiration of his tenure as a Senator on the 29th of May, 2019, many expected that he will withdraw from public appearances (as that is the case with most politicians) to manage his losses and begin to struggle for appointment, as a frontline governorship aspirant whose party was deprived from participating in the 2019 elections in the State by the courts, caused by leadership failure in the party.
But the Distinguished Senator in his usual charismatic manner, proved them wrong.

* Firstly, he held a thank you meeting, few days after the expiration of his tenure with an extended stakeholders of the APC in his LGA.
* Secondly, he held another extended State Stakeholders meeting of the party to appreciate them for making the sacrifices of insisting on Progressive Change in the party.
* Thirdly, in less than 2 weeks after the State Stakeholders meeting, the Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe held yet another thank you meeting with the Kairos Maas International, a Social Media group with very intelligent young men and women who promoted his governorship ambition.
* And fourthly, the Distinguished Senator also organized a program where he empowered over 100 PhD students from his Senatorial District, in different higher Institutions of learning, who were screened by their schools with a well endowed HP laptop each, without recourse to party affiliations.

Apart from all that, the Distinguished Senator has also enviably maintained his closeness to Rivers people. Almost every weekend, he honors the invitations of his followers, supporters, relatives and friends irrespective of their class, tribe, political affiliations and status.

3. RESPECT FOR INTERNAL DEMOCRACY AND THE RULE OF LAW.

Haven closely followed his political history, we can say without fear of contradiction that the Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe aka "Champion of Internal Democracy" has never imposed anybody on any elective position in his Ward, LGA or Constituency all through his political career. He is a man who believes in democracy, and has always been eminently prepared to win every election he had contested for.
As a fine gentleman and a lawyer, the Distinguished Senator is also a known respecter of the Rule of Law and has never disobeyed any court ruling by words or action, or has threatened or oppressed anyone who disagrees with him politically in any form.

And we ask, is the above outlined facts about the Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe the ways of a desperate politician as been futilely painted by Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, the political hireling of the former Transportation Minster, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi?

The Rivers State Visionary Media Team (RAVIMT) wish to state with emphasis that what our dear party in the State needs now is absolutely not the hiring of the services of professional blackmailers and liars from neighboring States against prominent Rivers sons who're driven to serve the interest of the generality of APC members in particular and Rivers people in general like the Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe, but to come together, forgive one another, accept the Truth, and sincerely accept and practice the PROGRESSIVE CHANGE agenda of the party, which is rooted in "Internal Democracy and Inclusiveness" to build public confidence and prepare for the challenges ahead.

And do away with the present situation where the attempt by a few to continue to deceive themselves that one man's interest is the interest of the party has kept us in this state of despondent.

Finally, Eze and his paymaster should remember that "1 man with a selfless belief is worth more than 99 people who have only selfish interest"

A word is enough for the wise.

Director General,
Rivers State APC Visionary Media Team.
