These are some of the effects of terrorism. You can't vote, you can't write exams, you can't do business...even Boko Haram was not this dangerous. But a fly that is about to die does not know when to leave a corpse.

@ChiomaCa: Very sorry to read your story. The time spent apart as a couple may have given the space for this habit. Please don't consider him as an unclean person. He had sexual needs and did not want to have affairs.

Now to the solution: First off, go and do a comprehensive health check. Then do engage the services of a Christian Counsellor. I hope he is willing to change.

Getting him to forget these prostitutes will not be easy. He would need to acquire new and good sexual taste (fantasies) that are allowed in the confines of your marriage.

May God grant you the grace to pull through. Trust me it is worth it. God bless.

Politics / Re: Osita Chidoka Blasts IPOB Over Sit-At-Home, 'No Election' In Anambra by GoodGrace: 1:57pm On Nov 12, 2021
The truth of the matter is this IPOB agitation is dead! Buhari may not be smart, but he has strategically taken the life out of this agitation. The moment the South-South denounced the agitation, the whole thing died! The truth of the matter is that the agitations in the South East would effectively be against their leaders in the region.

If they say no elections in the South East come 2023 or if the don't come out to vote, who loses? Certainly that would favor Buhari's party. IPOB is a clear example of no strategy, just noise.

Politics / Re: Nnamdi Kanu: FG absent as Abia High Court adjourns case till October 7 by GoodGrace: 1:29pm On Sep 21, 2021
Jokers! If the argument is that states have the jurisdiction for fundamental human rights, the question is how does Abia have jurisdiction in this case? Was he arrested in Abia? Is he held in Abia? They had better go and file in FCT.

Drawing inspiration from that charlatan called Igboho....Well the charlatan was victimised in Oyo. Hence, the jurisdiction of the court.

extraordinary rendition was declared a serious crime against humanity by UN primarily to deter leaders of powerful countries from abducting fugitives, asylum seekers, dissidents etc overseas and subjecting them to extreme tortures without extradition processes. it applies to all criminal suspects overseas

Oga relax. You have quoted the July 2014 case as the key point. Note that Nigeria is not part of the European Union. The EU made a case against Poland... which is like saying OAU makes a case against Kenya for participating in the abduction of Gulen.

Note the injured party is the state. In the 2014 case, the EU was the injured party and they sanctioned Poland for participating in the effort (more or less desecrating EU Laws). Think Lagos participating in the abduction of a citizen to South Africa without notifying the Nigerian government or going through due process.

Good! Thank you for been objective here. Now, if that is the case it will give room for a fair hearing which would have been literarily missing if there were to be no international interest. The world's attention has been drawn. The legal burden is now on the Nigerian government to prove their case of terrorism file against him beyond all reasonable doubt. So, it will be difficult to have the kind of case where the governorship candidate that came out in 4th position in an election eventually became the governor of the state via the Nigeria supreme court; that is what would not happen here

This was never in doubt. Everyone's gaze is on this case. Would the FG try to bias it? They may try, but it would not be successful. The case is before an eminent jurist in Justice Binta Nyarko. A good law firm seasoned in Nigerian law is quite necessary. This Aloy guy is a propaganda lawyer (think Rudi Giuliani).

Having said the foregoing, I am of the opinion that Kanu and Igboho (if captured) are in for a long ride. Buhari is quite unhinged and appears unleashed from all trappings. All I can think of is OBJ against the likes of Uwazurike, Adams, Dokubo, etc.... I don't know the details of their experience, but none of them came back the same. They all speak and talk slower, and have been quite tame since the incident. Now I know Buhari is a 1,000 times crazier compared to OBJ, and all I can do is wonder.

Who engaged the firm?

We don't know. My guess is that he has the firm on retainer (see bolded below). However, this is no biggie. Governments can hire law firms for its citizens to afford them good representation. It doesn't mean they are taking the other country to court. Note: Governments offer citizens legal support against themselves (Right to a fair trial & public defenders).

Good let's be civilised. it's not about Kanu but a case of breach of international law .there is no way you can try an abductee because their is a crime in-between no sane judge will judge such case it's not admissible.there are lots of technicalities in law.in this case there is lots of illegalities.

You not likeing people like iba Adams igboho or Kanu makes no difference before the law.

Nnamdi Kanu represent the voice of his people they love him and he is doing what's right.you may not like it but he is changing things .

Note: I have not said that the FG did not breach international law- they most likely did. However, the injured party is not Kanu but Kenya. The extradition rights are for states not individuals. Hence, Kanu cannot instigate a case against the FG for bringing him to face the law. The only party that can do so is Kenya. Hence, the initial push by Ipob to boycott Kenyan goods and services. However, this has not had any effect on the Kenyan government.

Hope you are aware that Kanu is not the first person to be extradited from Kenya (see Gullen's case). This was a relative of a wanted person by Turkey. Unlike Nigeria, Turkey clearly stated stated that the man was captured in Kenya...and no country has requested that either Kenya or Turkey give account on this case... A lot of cry, but nothing else.

Hope this provides clarity. The question is locus standi. Who can bring a case against another in this case.

See where hate and idiocy have landed you.no wonder zoo graduates are unemployable.quota system have finished you guys.

You said the government will deny their involvement and blame it on messenarries your dumb AG malami have already admitted it's was the joint collaboration of Nigeria security agency with other foreign agency .you see your theory holds no water .

Extraordinary rendition is a seroiuse bridge of international law.a country that don't even respect its own law, went further to commit illegality have no face before any international body.

Mazi Kanu can never be convicted in any court of law.much the Daura President can do it to use same illegality to keep adjourning his case till he leaves office.

Mr. Oga I have not insulted anyone. But let us engage on this for a minute.

1. Are you aware that Kenya is the only party can can say its right was breached? Extradition is not a human right, but a sovereign right. Just imagine, you offended your dad and ran to your neigbor's house. Your dad doesn't have a right to just barge into his neigbors house. Now imagine there is a process for which he should require things from your neighbor to get you back home for punishment. However, due to some hanky-panky, he gets you back home. Trust me your right has not been violated, if anyone's right has been it would be your neighbor. You need locus standi to bring a case in law.

2. I have stated the mercenary scenario as something the FG can put forward should Kenya bring a case against Nigeria. You say the guys that brought him to Nigeria are security agencies, but that is hearsay. The FG can hide behind an easy cover by doing a shell company/mercenary option.

3. You talk about hate. I am Yoruba, but have no use for the likes of Kanu, Sunday, Gani Adams and Gumi. Please be well guided. I believe in law and order.

Questions for Kanu's supporters.

1. In the case of a faulty extradition, whose right is breached? My answer: Kenya.
2. Would Kenya file a case against Nigeria on Kanu's behalf? My answer: Highly in doubt
3. What can the UK government do for Kanu? My answer: Offer support, which they have offered. Typical example is the Amanda Knox case. He is and remains under the jurisdiction of the Nigerian government. If you can break into DSS and take him out of Naija---you get a chance. But anything apart from that is a pipe dream.

you clearly dont understand what is going on. it is not the British govt fighting Nigeria. it is Kanu's lawyers trying to fight Nigeria in the UK courts. The british govt offering consular assistance is just formailty. The Uk is not going to Jeopardize it's relationship with Nigeria over Kanu. If they had their way they would wash their hands of the matter.

This is not true! Who is the injured party when an extradition is not followed properly? It is the host country. Note: The only party that can institute a claim against Nigeria would be Kenya. Their case would be that Nigeria breached their sovereignty by carrying out its business in an unauthorized manner. However, the same Kenya is a party to the "kidnap". The UK has no locus standi to say to Nigeria that it breached Kenya's sovereignty.

Please whatever you do, don't hire this Aloy guy as your lawyer. He is clearly unfit as a legal counsel.

The British government can offer consulate support to Kanu. This is not a big deal. The objective of this is to ensure that he gets fair treatment. However to state that this would result in the British government demanding for his release from the Nigerian government is idiotic.

Firstly, he was not kidnapped (extradited) from the United Kingdom. Hence, the UK can not ask for his return. At best, the UK would ask Kenya, which would deny any wrongdoing.

Secondly, to state that the would have global whatever is just a joke. Nigeria and UK are both sovereign states. Note: This news item is not mainstream. This is not the same as Umaru Dikko or Osama Bin Laden's case, where governments did not regard the territorial boundaries of other states.

Thirdly, it is a pure joke to think the appointment of a British legal firm would stir any water. Any idiot called to bar can start a firm this week, even though today is Friday. There are 2 lawyers for every cent. I worry for Kanu if he is hoping that this unknown Birdman firm would provide a god defense for him in a Nigerian court.

In the very end, the story that would come out of this is that a bounty was placed on his head, mercenaries brought him back to Nigeria... and the Nigerian government took custody of a fugitive from the law. If any one would could be said to have kidnapped him or not followed due process it would be he mercenary organization. If anyone wants to go after the mercenary organization, what you would find is a shell company in the Cayman Islands.

This lawyer had better start preparing a good defense for his client. But this guy is a "miss-road" lawyer. With all the money that Kanu has, he should be able to get a better defense for himself. To focus on the case of extradition would be a joke.

Please help with tips on how to go through POE legally and successfully
1. Where was your POE?
2. What questions were you asked and how did you respond?
3. Was your bump visible?
4. Is showing burden of proof of financial ability to pay medical bills enough? Or you had to fully pay your medical bills before travelling?
5. Did you have to take COVID tests or quarantine? What were the associated costs?

Offers are being prepared for some roles. Congratulations to successful candidates. To others, your own will come soon by God's grace.

This opportunity is not suitable for everyone...granted, you will be happy for a few weeks/months after joining the organisation...but you may begin to have doubts when the reality kicks in that you are a second-class citizen. You see guys that don't work as much, and may not be as sharp as you... earning 2 to 3x what you earn.

Think I answered this earlier. They are currently conducting final stage interviews for all positions (2candidates each for every role).

I believe feedback would be given to some people that participated in the technical interview within the next 10-14days.

My advice is that just be at peace in God, who will settle everyone at the due season.

May I also implore everyone to curb their enthusiasm. This may/ may not be the Eldorado you wished for from your youth. One of the first things they told people at the panel interview weeks ago was "This is not Total E&P. The salary scale is not comparable to that of Total E&P. You will not get the opportunity to convert/transfer to Total E&P".......

Things may pick up later this week, next week or the week after.

His reaction/attitude is perfectly normal and expected. That's why it would be a faulty conclusion that people have not been called, just because you haven't heard! If they called you, you did most likely keep mum! After all who is born stoopid?

HEHEHEHE. @GOODGRACE don't mind me. I think a guy wanted to know if the info on final stage is in batches or for all positions and i think you did not answer that, you said yes to both questions.
I spotted my mistake and clarified on two separate occasions.

I know he is finding it difficult to swallow this fact, but this was how MrSanity was also arguing with me the other time....and events have shown that I was correct.

The only way to disprove this is if you know everyone on the sheet that was presented at CPFA's office, which is not possible! The way the interviews were timed, u hardly had the chance to meet up and talk with guys that were going for the same role.

The funny thing is the dude was invited for the first panel interview, but did not say he was invited.... He applied for an IT role.....but dude said na accountant role he applied for (the same way he did not say that he was called for the first interview, guys too don't want to say they were called for the final stage)..... Everyone wants to manage information, yet they want others to share same.
