Have Australians been any better since Ms Gillard's exit. In fact, many Australians would attest to the fact an average Australian had it better under Julia's government than the current Abbot's government.

I personally believe it's absolutely wrong to tie the ability to deliver good governance to a specific -- gender, race, religion, etc

50calibre:

Can you please shut up!! Your idiotic comments are beginning to irritate me.

Simpletons & pseudo feminists like you are quick to name drop Angela Merkel & Hilary Clinton (which by the way, is best known as a former First Lady), forgetting they actually earned/maintained their positions through diligence & uprightness.

Women in Nigerian politics, have proven themselves to be just as proficient (if not more) as men in the art of stealing. Most of them are actually worse than men because not only are they as inefficient as their male counterparts, they're also better thieves.

Being a woman is not an excuse to get anything you don't deserve, shove that anti-sexist propaganda up your as*s. Julia Gillard the former PM of Australia was a woman, when Australians got tired of her shi*tty government, they kicked her as*s to the curb and elected a man.

The only way out would be to equally inflate votes in Edo, which is also too late.

Politics / Re: Buhari Will Have To Beg Fela For Jailing Him — Yeni Kuti by goshen(m): 7:39am On Mar 01, 2015
Common sense is always a major issue with Pro-GEJ supporters? Did you consider the reality that the "said" Fela is dead, before posting the thrash above? If yes, how do you meet a dead man in order to apologise?

In a nutshell, what Yeni implied was -- it is impossible for the Kutis to support Buhari because of Fela's incarceration in the 80's. So, I do not see how Buhari's arrogance comes into play here because it's not a question if Buhari was ready to apologise but if it was even possible for him.

That said, I pity those who read and like senseless post as this, which clearly articulates the reasoning capacity of an average GEJ supporters. Blinded by emotions and ethnic bigotry.

Politics / Re: APC Fake Reporter Exposed!!! (pictures) by goshen(m): 9:16pm On Feb 27, 2015
You guys never cease to amaze me. It's a non-issue that an APC reporter interviewed a bunch of clueless supposed PDP supporters. The issue here is -- the video clearly made it obvious they were no pdp supporters, but were paid pittance to do PDP's evil bids.

For those who have a measure of common sense, they know that the identity of the interview is inconsequential; especially since we know she is genuine APC supporter, unlike the hired pdp supporters.

Word of advice for PDP campaign train; quit all these negativity and embrace creative campaigns. If you do that, you guys would not have to create senseless threads to cover up your screw ups.

blackbee:
There is a propagandist video by the reporter in the picture below with Buhari's family in which she 'interviewed some youths protesting against Buhari' in front of Chatham House. The reporter did not mention her name nor the organization she represents - whether TV or print media.
On investigation, it was discovered that she was a disgruntled sacked staff of NTA. She is a close ally of the Buharis. She was, from the beginning, part of the scam to arrange two groups of protesters at the Chatham House - a larger pro Buhari group, and a smaller pro GEJ group. It was part of the scam to say the smaller group was arranged by FFK, while the larger group was natural. She rehearsed very well with some of the protesters in the smaller 'FFK group' before coming to interview them openly in front of Chatham House. FFK did not organize any protesters. PDP is strictly focused on local campaign. Below is a picture of this fake reporter with Buhari's wife and daughter earlier on in the month.

I re iterate that a lot of people I met and joined minds with on Facebook, I met them there on ground, outstanding professionals. I insist that APC knows what they did with these plants. We were there. Lots of us. They refused to interview us and when the press came, they swamped them, almost suffocating them, cutting us off from them'
Politics / Re: Ten Take Aways From The Gen. Buhari’s Chatham House Lecture, London by goshen(m): 6:12am On Feb 27, 2015
Political sentiments? Is that the way you see a genuine call to end the perennial Boko-haram scourge that has claimed the lives of over 13000 innocent Nigerians over the last 6 years? Why should we even take a president who admitted twice (after over 4 years of anguish under boko-haram attacks) that he has treating the boko-haram issue with kids' glove, serious? For Pete's sake, lives have been and are being lost, and you are talking of political sentiments.

Fact 1, GEJ has shown over and over again that he doesn't have the well withal and the will to address the boko-haram issue.

Fact 2, virtually every world leader that matters (from Obama, Cameron, etc) is fully aware of how inept GEJ is; so it's nothing new of Buhari is rightfully stated security as our main issue.

A word of advice, you would achieve so much if you focused your energy on working collectively to sort-out our issues; as against your morbid fear to cover up an open-secret.

And, my apology on the insult.

EzePromoe:

Everyone knows about the Boko Haram issue but is the government doing anything about it or not? That is what Buhari should be sincere about without attaching political sentiments.
Meanwhile keep your insult to yourself.

How do you guys really think? Do you guys shut out a section of your brain and think with half? Who in this damn world doesn't know about boko-haram and insecurity in Nigeria? If you called the Buhari's speech --washing of dirty linen in the public, then you are worst than a ostrich.
EzePromoe:
It's quite disturbing to see an ex-general and elderstatesman in the like of Buhari going to the international scene to portray Nigeria in the bad light for political gains. I believe any objective foreigner will view this as nothing more than a prepared sheet of words because you can't say that the nation had not witnessed any form of improvement when you are a key role in the dark days of our country's history.
Still yet, nothing special about his words.

You are not making sense at all. Let's even believe for once that they called for ING; was their wish granted? Did OBJ even reschedule the election for one day as GEJ has done for 6 weeks? Very myopic comparison. I guess you now realised how extremely difficult and stupid you have to sound to be a mouthpiece to Jonathan and PDP.

And to Nairalanders, Barcanista's recent 360 without any ideology to back up his decision clearly articulates the fact that a significant number of those shouting GEJ till grave might have been given crumbs of food by PDP, which explains why they may be singing like FFK.

Politics / Still On The Parable Of The Greedy Goat And The Limited Yam Tubers by goshen(m): 9:54pm On Feb 13, 2015
President Jonathan made a rather feeble attempt to justify his generous disposition to corruption during his last week's media chat, drawing from a very apt parable; that of the goat and yam. That parable got me thinking; what manner of farmer would see a herd of hungry goats devouring his limited pieces of yam tubers; and his default reaction would be to sit down to figure out a grand (technologically advanced) method to chase away the goats? I guess none, because by the time grand idea comes up, the tubers of yam would be no more.

A sensible farmer would rather rush towards the intruding goats and "shu" them off aggressively; at least, to ensure his merchandise are safe. He may afterwards decide to build fences, etc; to forestall a future re-occurrence of the intrusion.

Drawing a parallel between the parable and corruption in Nigeria; you do not claim to fight corruption when your approach still leaves the goats (corrupt politicians) with our yam tubers (resources). That stand reeks of lies and moral depravity.

Mr President, what Nigerians want is very simple and does not require a grand technological methodology; we want the devilish goats to be PHYSICALLY (not technologically) separated from our yam tubers. We believe this is not difficult since we have laws and law enforcement agencies in place to do the physical separation.

God bless Nigeria

Thrash!!!. If this is what PDP would do over and over again and expect the electorates to change their made-up mind on voting Buhari; then PDP members are fools. Only a fool would do same over and over again and expect a different outcome. Your campaign of calumny has not got you guys anywhere over the last 50 days; how do you expect a different result in the next 13 days.

Bring out your thinking cap (if you ever had it) and start thinking outside the box for a true and genuine campaign leverage.

For now, Buhari is coasting home to victory, which sucks for GEJ.

ngoziiwenofu1:
Kaduna (NDR) - This certificate scandal of Maj-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has really opened the eyes of many. Initially, some of us in the north thought that Goodluck Jonathan in his desperate move to remain in power beyond 2015 wants to use this certificate issue to shut out our champion, Buhari.

But from every indication, the opposite is the case. It's an understatement to say that I'm ashamed of being a Muslim and be supporting Buhari. Islam is not about lies and evil. Islam is a true religion based on peace and unity.

For over a month, Buhari is yet to provide his certificate and remove the shame he has painted on us, his diehard supporters. I mean, how difficult is it for Buhari to instruct WAEC to send a copy of his certificate to INEC, not to Premium Times? Is this so difficult? He doesn't need to travel to do this. The time he used in Press Conference is the same opportunity he would tell WAEC to kindly send his certificate to INEC. By so doing, the whole world would know that he is truly a man of integrity and incorruptible.

Organizing a Press Conference with the aim to release a shabbily prepared Statement of Result is not ideal, especially when the CERTIFICATE is there with WAEC. Or is the Statement of Result more valuable than the CERTIFICATE?

For 2 days now, I have thought about everything I held Buhari at high esteemed thinking that he was being victimized by the lucifers in PDP, but I was wrong. I have come to a solid conclusion that he has been lying to us, his ardent supporters. I am ashamed to say this, but I must say it. I must describe Buhari in 6 words:

1. FRAUD - he entered the army without any certificate but rose to the rank of Maj-General taking salaries and pensions which he didn't merit.

2. COUPIST - he was the arrowhead in ousting Gowon in 1976 as well as Shagari in 1983.

3. LOOTER - I now believe the $2 billion in midland bank Fela sang about.

4. BIGOT - He jailed politicians that are not from his ethnic group or how could one explain why Shagari wasn't jailed but Ekwueme was. He feels so proud that he executed 76% of PTF projects in the north, neglecting even our Muslim brothers and sisters in the Southwest.

5. LIAR - He maintains that Abacha didn't steal just because he followed Abacha and looted Nigeria dry. He claims to have N1m in his bank account, yet his children are in the UK schooling where millions of naira are paid as Tuition fees.

6. FORGER - this one is causing me depression. I can't believe that Buhari has no single certificate, instead of him to open up, he went and forged one.

We have no option than to stick with Jonathan till 2019. Buhari has messed us up walahi!

You guys are jokers who assume all Nigerians are fools. Over 6 million people (which represents about 1/6 of total vote cast in the 2011 poll) voted online and we are not aware of it. And yet the same Buhari trounced GEJ in a similar online poll conducted by a pro-GEJ media outlet (AIT).

Try harder mate!!!. Spoofed ip addresses still have to be in standard ip format. In fact, most spoofing attacks are aimed at masquerading as legitimate ip address on the internal network of the firewall.

AIT lied on this one. If AIT could lie on a simple issue of online polls, how do we ever believe anything from AIT again.

For me personally, this has helped me resolve a number of doubt on previous allegations, e.g PVC cloning, etc. PDP have always lied. I hope most Nigerians would be smart enough to see through their loads of bullshit.

sylver1:
And this so called "ICT expert" hasn't heard of IP spoofing. With a spoofing tool, an attacker can modify the source IP address of an IP packet header.
One of the flaws of the TCP/IP suite is that some systems rely on only the source IP address as a means of authentication.
Routers only inspect the destination IP address in the packet to make routing decisions. The source IP address is not required by routers and even an invalid source IP address will not affect the delivery of packets. #Shalom

Oh!! I forgot to add, your post also suggest how extremely dumb the originator of such garbage is.

Rareantagonist:
Brethren,
This is a desperate and urgent call from the throne of
Grace that the brethren in Christ are about to make the
greatest error of their lives by selling off their kingly
heritage for a mess of pottage called "change". Change
into what? Change into what happened to Egypt , Sudan, Lybia, Algeria and Turkey which were once flourishing
Christian countries but because the brethren there also
sold their souls on the premise of "it does not matter"
they became the last set of Christians in those countries!
Remember Turkey! It was the beautiful Christian country
called Constantinople! Today it is history! The foundation of the planned islamisation of Nigeria was
taken in 1989 in Abuja by OIC. Since then they have not
looked back! Our Government gave them a contribution
of 21 billion dollars then! Wonder then where the funding
of boko Haram is coming from? They have painfully now
infiltrated one of the biggest denominations in Nigeria and offered one of their best Pastors -a Professor,a Vice
presidential Slot! Now a larger community of that
denomination now promotes this "change"! They did it in
Constantinople ! Remember brethren, that the biggest
denomination of Christians in the North - the EYN has
been wiped off! All their churches burnt. You may say that it is the North it can't get here! They said the same
thing in Sudan, Libya, Algeria and Constantinople! How come the brethren have become so dulled in the Spirit
that they no longer are sensitive?
We may be the last Christians in Nigeria if this grave
error the brethren is about to commit is not averted! Our
Lord Jesus is greatly miffed by our irresponsibilit y as His Followers! How come we no longer hear Him! The
Great shepherd of the Sheep! How come that Christians
have forgotten that this country was made
ungovernable by these same people and Christians are
holding the wrong person responsible? How come? The
signs of the eventual Islamization of Nigeria are awash in the 1999 constitution where Islam, Sharia are mentioned
more than 100 times.! Not a single mention of Christ or
Christianity! You say it does not matter. Now, mark it
you cannot amend the constitution without a bitter
progrom!
Brethren, the night is here! We must contend for the faith and our heritage which was handed once and for all to
us by our maker!
Don't relent, sound this trumpet....We will not be the last
Christians in Nigeria! Amen.
