GUYS I USE GOD NAME BEG YOU, PLEASE IF YOU HAVE WRITTEN THE TEST AND DID NOT PASS, DO NOT ASK ME TO REFER YOU

It looks bad on me, when I go around referring people who were not successful twice within one year. If you took the test last year june and want to try again, you have to wait at least until July 2015 to try again. If I get another crappy request to refer when you've written the test, I will stop doing this AND I'll get them to blacklist your scheming ass.

Also me working in Deloitte US doesnt say anything about my knowledge of Nigeria's system. I just identified myself as such, so you dont look at me as someone with serious connections within the firm in Nigeria.

Now fellow Deloitter, I do not have any proof that 2:2 folk are in firm or have such a certificate or list, but I can tell you I know a couple of people in 9ja's HR and they are very very skeptical about bringing in a 2:2 person at entry level. Perhaps the people you know came in at a time when AWD wasnt so stringent, or were not entry level, but the people I referred all got rejected (not even to write an exam) and their 2:2 made that difference.

This, I am not sure about. Its very possible that if you have enough experience and you are not coming in as an entry level, you'll have a better chance with your 2:2, but trust me, entry level with a 2:2 will hardly make. Perhaps if you show some real promise, they may make an exception for you.

Fucker, I work at the firm. I would know better than any of you (remove the people who are already in) what it takes to get in. A piss poor 2:2 will not get you in, unless you daddy is a Partner or recruiter (even that wont help) or something.

Note they they dont expect you to answer all 26 questions in 90 mins. Its hard. HOWEVER they do expect you correctly answer the ones you DID answer. So if you managed to answer like 15 (this is not a hard number) correctly then...it will reflect better on you.

Do check www.quora.com and www.glassdoor.com (both require you to register for free with them to see their content). They are FANTASTIC at giving advice. You can actually ask people on quora questions that might help you (some McK folk might just be there to help you).

zublaj: You don't have to worry about the actual questions I was tested on, when you get the invite, a practice test which will be very similar with the one you will be tested with will be sent to u to prepare. Its going to be a replica of d actual test, I suppose its one of their past questions; it has answers, tips and explanation of how u determine the right one.

You will have about 3 or 4 scenarios, about different clients requesting the services of Mckinsey. This is what comprises of the 26 questions to be answered in 60 - 90 mins. A long passage describing the clients biz and current need, follow by charts, tables and/or graphs, all from which you are expected to deduce your various answers from. Each clients/scenarios are described separately to make up the 26 questions.

The key is comprehension and understanding what is actually expected of you to answer. Most of the answer will look right to you most time, its left for u to choose the most appropriate one. Some calculations are there too.

I just want yall to know that even if I am not aspring to be at McK at the moment, I have found www.glassdoor.com, registering and viewing people who has interviewed here to be actually quite helpful. I currently work at Deloitte and it helped me.
