Bro if your planning to write pte end of June, its not possible to beat the July first deadline for 189, as average wait time for pet engineers is 4 to 6 weeks for invitation after submitting eoi. Other engineering like agric/environmental have reached their occupation ceilings. If I were you I will switch my attention to regional area in NSW as they still sponsor 489 for pet engr in two places last I checked. Pls do confirm. Another way to go about it is to make one of your episodes shitty and don't claim any experience in your CDR. That way you might be given engineering technologist upon positive assesment, which is still on the 189/190 list. So your call.

I just found out that my undergraduate course (petroleum engineering) will be removed from sol list on 1st on July. I have decided to apply for pr before that time. I was already studying for pte as I planned to take it by June ending. I need help writing my cdr. Any information you have that you feel may benefit me, please pass it on.

Praise God somebody!!! He has done it again! Guys my 573 grant just landed! lodged on the 4th and got to pretoria on the 8th. Decision made today! Case officer was Ms Chantel (nice name). negative thoughts kept creeping in and thoughts of what I would do if unsuccessful but God put my mind at ease. Only God know how happy I am right now!. (enough ranting lol)

I'm assuming your primary aim is PR. you would have to study in australia for two years to be eligible. so have that in mind when choosing courses. Also, it's better to go for a similar course to avoid complications when applying for visa. Although people have opted for dissimilar courses and received positive outcome. I suggest you start checking universities to find you course preference.

If you are serious about this, you need to act very fast. You need to apply for courses under Streamlined Visa Processing. some schools take as much as 3weeks to grant admission.

Pls house, which is the 'cheapest' way to pay my application fees, seeing the high exchange rates from banks and charges that come with it? Or is GTB Mastercard my best bet. I recently paid for something in USD and they charged me @ N231/dollar. I'm paying AUD7200.

Sir I don't think you can pay that amount of money using your Mastercard. I think most cards have a daily limit of USD1000 or it's equivalence in any other currency.

I believe you can either use a domiciliary account Or purchase forex (Form A). I'm not sure about the latter because it's mainly used to purchase currency for business and personal travel purposes including payment of tuition.

PFL charged me 80 thousand Naira and they got admission got me at Wollongong but I did not accept the offer because I wanted Griffith because is it in a commercial and social areas I want to combine studies with fun. I did not submit any bank statement or sponsorship letter but in my sop I said my dad will be my sponsor. I submitted yellow card, transcript,four copies of data page of my passport, degree certificate,nysc certificate because that is my only work experience after school and I submitted my neco result too all certified copies. But PFL fill one form for me I will try and check the name and will share it when I confirm the form it's like they are going to collect my document for me and I know why because Pretoria did not email me but they emailed PFL and PFL forward the grant for me after calling me to congratulate me

hi, I'm still an applicant like u so I might be wrong. but from what I've gathered and learnt from this thread, there are other ways to beat GTE without a job offer. infact it's better to be honest about it than to fabricate something and they verify and find out. you can beat GTE by being convincing in ur SOP. make sure u properly link ur course with ur academic n work history and also ur future career plans in NIGERIA. if u are SVP, it also reduces d amt of evidence u will need to show. however, if u have d money then feel free to buy d land if u must, I guess that can also serve as home tie.
