hellfire is really a scary story. Imagine a place of torment that last forever but if there is no hell as some people want to believe then there is no reason to do good things, whats the fate of poor and disable people? Our corrupt politicians will all go to heaven after creating hell on earth for us here.

so u believe once someone dies is all over. Your are right because u cant see the air u breath but u beleive it exist. God is of the living no one dies in his presence. So when God kills its just like u planting a seed in the ground which dies and grow up a tree, flowers, fruit etc teaching a child that there is no God is like teaching him to be evil, lawless, dont u think so, cus if he kills u his father to take over ur wealth he hadnt committed any crime or pregnant his sister he has done nothing wrong
Religion / Re: Roman Catholicism -- Christian or pagan? by grailife(m): 11:44pm On Jul 12, 2011
if not for the catholic church would there be christianity all over the world, the catholic church is always the first people to build their church in places that are very risky to preach the gospel like china etc even places that are at war or places that very poor. All these mordern day christians that have maybe five branches all over the world with names from a to z which is so confusing if your church is the true one how do people attend it when it is not in their country. Some of these churches started just ten years ago and claim to be true christians while catholic church that have branches all over the world are now pagans. There is no state in nigeria even towns you wont found a catholic church spreading the gospel, but your pastors are busy buying private jets etc

if there is no God how come there is man. You want me to believe that after the big bang then suddenly everything appeared, the sky, cloud, sun, moon, stars, air that we breath, land, soil, fruits that we eat, trees, water that we drink, how about the rain, snow, fish and all the sea food, oil, diamond, gold, coal and all the natural resources, animals that we eat, flowers, language that we speak, we etc. Man, trees, animals all have male and female. The world is so wonderful to exist without a creator.

Remedies for Covetousness
We fight covetousness or avarice with generosity, liberality, kindness, mercy. " ( Matt. 5 : 7 ). Generosity bespeaks a healthy disposition of heart. It opens the door to greater love of God, peace of mind, to consideration for others. Holy Scripture tells us, " It is a more blessed thing to give, rather than to receive." ( Acts 20 : 35 ).
Even if we are not wealthy, we can wean our hearts from material things and spend less money on ourselves in order to be able to give something to the poor, to the missons and to other works of charity and detachment in order not to become too much attached to things of this world. We must not let the anxieties of this life with its, its vanity of honors and passing pleasures, prevent or distract us from seeking the true riches of the life to come. In conclusion, it may be well to add that covetousness may have a spiritual counterpart in our exercises of piety, when we seek only spiritual delight in them for ourselves. We ought rather to perform them with a desire to express our love for God and to fulfill His Will, which we know from the first lesson of Catechism to be purporse of our life on earh.

The Seven Capital Sins
Pride Covetousness Lust Anger Gluttony Envy Slot

Remedies for Pride
The only way to get the better of pride is to practice humility. It may sound like a contradiction, but the humble man realizes that he is proud and earnestly strives to overcome the manifestations of pride in his life. In striving for humility, we must always have before our eyes the example of Our Lord. We must keep in mind His promise in favor of the humble and vengeance He reserves for the proud. We must cling to God and do His Will with all our soul. We must have recourse to prayer, again and again asking for this virture. We must live in the presence of God, practice self-denial and the other Christian virtues especially patience, forebearance, charity, meekness, submission, abandonment to God and conformity to His Will, sympathy, confidence in God, compunction for sin, modesty. We must not seek honors, but admit our nothingness and lack of virtue. We must be willing to accept humiliations and strive to seek God in all things.

Prayer for help against spiritual enemies

Glorious Saint. Micheal, Prince of the heavenly hosts, who standest always ready to give assistance to the people of God; who didst fight with the dragon, the old serpent, and didst cast him out of heaven, and now valiantly defendest the Church of God that the gates of hell may never prevail against her, I earnestly entreat thee to assist me also, in the painful and dangerous conflict which I have to sustain against the same formidable foe. Be with me, O mighty Prince! That I may courageously fight and wholly vanquish that proud spirit, whom thou hast by Divine Power, so gloriously overthrown, and whom our powerful King, Jesus Christ, has, in our nature, so completely overcome; to the end that having triumphed over the enemy of my salvation, I may with thee and the holy angels, praise the clemency of God who, having refused mercy to the rebellious angels after their fall, has granted repentance and forgiveness to fallen man. Love him who loved you when he was a child and who suffered cold for you and wept in the manager for you. Love him who loved you. He was only eight days old when he first shed blood for you. He could not speak then, but he could love. And as he grew older, his love grew too and was shown in the works which he did among us. As his body grew, his trials grew, his pains and tortures and crosses. Love, then, him who first loved you and loves you now in heaven. - Saint. John of Avila.

Virtue that is gloomy, morose, sour, hard, is virture only in name. It is not inspired by God's spirit and it does not become a Christian soul. - Saint Mary Euphrasia Pelletier.

The Lord gives Mary to us as the exemplar of a human being perfected by his grace. She who was to be the God-Bearer was born without sin. By anticipation of her Son's Resurrection, she was transformed into the glorious condition we were all meant to share. So we look to Mary as a sign of hope, as we long for deliverance from the limits of our present circumstances.
The knot of Eve's disobedience was united by Mary's obedience; what the the virgin Eve bound through her unbelief, the Virgin Mary loosened by faith.
The end of all things is near, so keep your minds calm and sober for prayer. Above all preserve an intense love for each other, since love covers over many a sin.
Answer to your question = Catholic Church.
