Are dssc officers allowed to own guns .... personal firearms...... and also after 10yrs in the navy when you change to drc does that mean you get to see action or it just extends your service

It only happens once in few years likewise the airforce, only the Army does it occasionally

This is very possible!! But your road is very rough and it takes a disciplined person to get there!! Your only possible hope is to apply for Short Service Commission, SSC - which fits the career path I see here - but it means that you will train for 9mths - 1year!! It also means that you will have to have age on your side (your chances are greater if as at the time of comissioning you are under 30yrs)!!

dssc officers are not direct combatant men/officers you have to be a cadet officer, SSC or other forms of NCO’s.

Ok.... another thing is I've only heard of navy dssc recruitment and not ssc or are the ones recruited into the basic training school the ssc

They're very nigerian..... they are the nnsbs( Nigerian navy special boats service) corps men our navys special force operators

please i want to know if its possible to change from dssc to drc in the navy i saw the recruitment for dssc but none for ssc and i wanted to join up as a combatant
