Hello guys, please what is the best way to send my passport to Abuja Visa office from PortHarcourt. I can't deliver my Passport in person since I am not in Lagos or Abuja. Also, I did my Biometric in Lagos

I need your advise

Hi, I did my biometrics in Abuja so I didnt pay the transmission fee, but since you did yours in Lagos then you will have to pay transmission fee to VFS Abuja's account. Its on their site. Send all necessary document through DHL and also pay for one way courier service fee for VFS to return your decision envelop to you. You will get a tracking ID from DHL and also from VFS throughout the entire process. Success

Good morning house, Please how do we know the current exchange rate to calculate our prof of funds?
I submitted 15m as prof of funds for canada after I paid 11k Cad, from 16197.18 which left me with 2697.18 because canadore gave me a scholarship of 2500. Please house how do I know if my pof is still good, I’m self sponsored ,No dependant, I owned my company but I didn’t submit my company bank statement during my application because it doesn’t have enough funds. I’m really worried because of this current exchange rate , I submitted my application on the 30th of December

When I applied on the 27th of December 2023, JMG12 posted a link to check official rate, I dont have it anymore. Initially my proof of funds was $CAD64,000 before submitting but on the day of submission it had dropped to $CAD53,000 and that was what I stated in my SOP.

This is the logic I used for my family and I. I did a cover letter of proof of funds explaining all funds with relevant documents to support it. What my family and I needed for the first year after paying first semester fee was a little above $CAD24k. But I doubled it and made sure we had excess on it just incase the exchange rate kept skyrocketing. We were approved and we've collected our stamped Visa's. Hope this helps.

biometric requests usually drop within 24 hours, you can wait for theirs to drop if you submitted all applications at the same time, just be patient theirs will drop as well so you can book for the whole family

Thanks, my spouse biometrics request just dropped

If you submitted same time with your spouse be informed that both application are treated on there own merit. So I would advise going for your biometric except on scene your place of abode is far then you can exercise patient for her own biometric to drop. Goodluck to you both.

Thank you so much, we live far away from cities where biometrics are done. I'll just have to wait them. Thanks

Good morning boss, I just received a message from IRCC to go for my biometrics whereas I submitted the application for my spouse and I. Should I wait for them to send my spouse another message or will my own cover up since im the primary applicant.

I am the primary applicant, thank you so much. This is helpful. I appreciate

I don't know who the primary applicant is but nevertheless;

Total tuition for program duration: Y
Principal applicant: cad 10k
Spouse (wife or husband): cad 4k
Any other dependant: cad 3k each
Miscellaneous: cad 5k

In your case you would need a total of 10k + 4k + 3k + 5k + Y => cad 22k + Y

You are also to estimate and include cost of travel for your entire family
