Good day my people...

URGENT...

The last time I made use of expedited appointment to get a closer date for F1 interview.

As I am denied visa once today at Lagos embassy, is there any other options that can be utilised at this point, cos I here people say something about surge appointment for another emergency or second interview.

Yes, they mean the same thing. Response wait times differ, mine took a day but in some cases it can be as long as a week. If it's taking too long you can try emailing them.

With your educational qualification, you are better off assessing with TRA which i believe is an advantage.

Please thank you. If you are having issues with providing a reference letter from supervisor with letter head, any solution or alternative to it.

Secondly, please how much will it cost to do a TRA SKILL ASSESSMENT for a 494 visa class not the TSS route.

Thanks.

I have 2+ years mechanical Technician and 1 year Technician training from a manufacturing company and currently I was offered a Mechanical Engineer position.

My educational background is HND (Higher National Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering from Nigeria.

I have checked my qualifications credibility for an accord standard by the EA (Engineer Australia) and in my country (Nigeria) there is no accord standard.

So am asking now, with my HND (educational qualifications) and Mechanical Engineer position and my mechanical Technician experience, how long will I work as an engineer to be eligible for a positive skill assessment for a Mechanical engineer by the Engineer Australia (EA).

Or

Am I still under TRA skill assessment for a fitter with my Mechanical Engineer position and my HND.

Please do help me in this regard.

Thanks.

What's going on, some people have not even seen a mail for test nor even an acknowledgement mail to say you are not qualified for the test.

Or all these write up a mix or cover up or fake.
Someone should evidently clear the audience regardless of if it's a test notification, a regret mail or ...,
A screenshot of date and message is more convincing that we are one Nigeria here.

Thanks alot for the benefits of many...

Montana is just one out of 50 states in the US. Check other states too. You will see universities that accepts WES. Check St.Cloud state University in Minnesota.

Yes, good school with a long list of course offering without Msc in Mechanical Engineering.

I have talked with one private university of Nicosia about studying for masters with HND, They said I can only qualify for bachelor top up, that my HND is best equivalent to a college degree.

That i cannot study masters with it.

Concerning studying are you saying that i should obtain a masters use the masters to apply for US masters too.

Am sorry for the delay
The chance of you getting a scholarship with HND is low, please understand me. Am not discouraging you, we all know that our education system costs this.
For a job international job opportunity with your kind of courses! I would say yes yes yes yes. trust me, am taking from experience
But the only problem is you get a scholarship with HND here.

But with the MBA, scholarship is sure
or you could go to private, come over
while waiting for your residence permit
covert your HND to Bsc via WES
Write TOEFL
then start applying for a fully-funded scholarship in the US for masters study
get your residence permit
Apply for a US study visa via the US embassy here

Good evening great people with great mindset.

My interest is to get more information about the likely good possibility of studying either Bsc (Mechanical Engineering) or Msc.(Mechanical Engineering) in us.

For Bsc. I was talking to a professor dean of Mechanical engineering of a public school in Montana about if they accept WES Evaluation of transcript for acceptance into Msc. He said that they do but for HND evaluation that it is equivalent to there associate degree in college and that I can only be qualified for transfer to complete a bachelor's degree program.

He was like it will be more preferable to study with transfer and I was trying to make my point about WES.
He said that there are plenty Africans from Nigeria and many from Ghana who are there students, that he has even visited Nigeria (Delta state).

I was even trying to enquire about GA/TA scholarships and he said that they are mainly reserved for PhD students.

So my question now is :
1. Is going for Bachelors degree on transfer (they said is 3rd year) advisable for a good career prospective.
2. Financing is another challenge I see people have been throwing in there experiences here with also visa challenge and interview on sponsorship, if am going to source for loan, is it a good move for visa acceptance.
4. I see also that people are complaining about age barrier and also (my HND is 5 years old now) for undergraduate US study based on visa approval in the embassy.
5. Any good chance of making it with the US bachelor if I graduate.

Please, I welcome a good guideline and experience.

Thank you.

I was very happy to see how you want to encourage us that looks that HND has hindered us for any opportunity because I also heard told that I can only start a 3 years Bachelor's degree program as a HND holder in Germany while a Nigerian Bsc holder is eligible for a PhD program in US.

I so much salute your courage.

Sir, please I want to get a information about my program of study as you advice in nairaland that it is only advisable to go for a public school where you can get a full or partial scholarship on your tuition fees.

The University of cyprus Mechanical Engineering and manufacturing department English master taught course is in advanced material and Nano technology, can I be admitted if I apply with HND and also be able to get a scholarship.
Can I also use it to study a PhD in Mechanical engineering for further studies in US or Germany or other beneficial EU, if otherwise, please hint me on a better ground of benefit.

Is it also likely that as a HND holder in mechanical engineering I can get the privilege to study oil and gas and energy engineering in University of UNIC with scholarship since it's a private university and is there any benefit for international job opportunities or further study in the US with the masters obtained.

I hope to hear from you to gain more insight even of what am not aware of.

Thank you in anticipation.
