Why are you trying Soo hard to explain the relevance of Agric.. you don't owe anyone explanation, besides this is Nigeria you might as well get a Bank job with you Agric certificate...

That was how my naive and ignorant teenage self turned down civil engineering UIBEN offered me because of my stupid determination to study petrochemical engineering in UNIPORT.

I turned down optometry/ dentistry that I was offered as a substitute for not getting medicine...ah my teenage self needs to be flogged. It's all about orientation.

I use Lenovos.

I am so happy with the one I have been using for over 5 years that I have ordered a newer model.

I have used Toshibas and HPs before but none of both have lasted this long without issues.

The Toshiba died due to a motherboard fault.

In a couple of weeks, my brother who bought the exact same laptop with me had the same issue. It is like they were built to expire after some time.

The only major issue with my Lenovo is a noisy fan, which is a recent development, I have already ordered a new fan and it's on its way to me.

The other issue is the batteries have now degraded so I bought a newer laptop and a number of fresh batteries for the pre-existing one.

That's not to say that there aren't other good brands.

But there is a reason why Lenovos are so common in corporate environments.

My Lenovo can run almost 24 hours on its batteries. Thank of the value of that in our clime with power outage issues.

Family / Re: Men That Their Wives Are The Breadwinners; How Do You Cope? by greenglow: 10:32pm On Sep 25, 2021

Hello Nairalanders. I got married late last year.
Even though I got married late, I made sure I was gainfully employed before taking the giant stride.

I love my wife and she loves me too. I carry 98 % of the home responsibility, recently, because things are on the high side and my wife is working as well, I told her to be taking care of filling the gas while I handle other bills.
I have observed that anytime I go near the gas maybe to make food or boil water, she will remind how expensive gas is right now, after all, if it finishes, I won't give money to fill. These words hurt me alot as this is the only thing you do for us in this house. I know how much I pay for rent, DSTV etc with other utility bills.

My thoughts now are;
How do men which their wives are feeding them cope with insults and embarrassments that come with every meal?

How do unemployed/underemployed men cope?

What if anything happens with my job, will I be able to stay in a verbal abusive home?

Come n dash her blender that will cool the economic heat off her. Blend anything, crush anything!!!!
