NB: I didn't pay the application fee. I got a fee waiver from MasterCard.

The payment problem you're experiencing is prolly because of the following:

1) The bank card you're using may not be suitable for the payment.
2) The monthly limit on some debit cards
3) Issue with how you're entering your details. You were asking if the date is with or without the slash.

Also, you can use another person's card. It doesn't have to be a card in your name.

Hi,

The people having issues with the fee waiver applied to the wrong program.

There are two different Master's programs for same course at UBC. There's one taking place in Vancouver and the one for Okanagan. If you mistakenly chose the one for Okanagan, you will NOT see the place to apply the fee waiver.

If you go ahead and pay, you've paid for the wrong program which isn't supported by MasterCard. It's the Vancouver one that is supported.

Hello Nairalanders I got this error while trying to make the payment for the waiver . Please any assistance. Again is it compulsory I pay from my account or can I use someone's account? then for the date of card expiry MMYY does this involve a slash? (06/21) or (0621)
