@ stan999 Your experience as a data analyst would come in very handy when you get to the UK. Trust me when I say there are loads and loads of data analyst jobs available here. Some organisations are even ready to take you on as a students and work with you tier-4 allowed hours(pray for grace as you apply). If you cant make September 2021, you could check if the courses have a January 2022 start, if they do, you might want to explore that option especially cos of the break between 1st and 2nd semester which allows you work fulltime for 3-4 months (depending on your course). Which would allows you save up some reserve (which would be beneficial especially for your case). You had be surprised how much you would be able to save up monthly If you are frugal and hardworking with little overhead in that holiday period.

Hi, just to follow up on your response, if one defers admission to Jan, can he still proceed with Visa application? And if granted the visa, can the person move to the UK before Jan resumption?

Let him go CC for you it's more better

Thanks for this, but the problem is business has not been good recently, so he hasn't been having much inflow of cash, and might not be able to do the CC.

That's why I'm asking if he can generate payslips for me, since the embassy would not check his bank statement to confirm if he really has the funds.

And since he's the owner of the business, should he add his CAC and tax statement as well? If he's adding tax statement, should it be his personal tax or company tax statement?

Boss, thank you for this. Still expecting a response to my last question.

I asked if I'm using a business owner that has not been paying himself salary, but he actually pays his staff salaries.
Can he generate 3 months payslip of like 800k for himself? Since he's the owner of the business, what can I use to replace certificate of employment? Should I get his CAC and Tax statement?

If I am to use tax statement, should it be his personal tax statement, or the company tax statement?

Please boss, would appreciate your response.
Thanks.

Please would appreciate response to this. Thank you

If you have a sponsor :

1. Make sure they are earn a salary from 550k a month and up. Collect their 3 most recents pay slips, certified letter of employment and their ID . Along with a notarized letter of sponsorship. Submit those to the embassy as proof of funds
OR

2. Ask your sponsor to deposit minimum of 5m into a cash back credit card account at any first bank or access bank. They will be using their Own money as collateral for the credit card. Then have the bank give them a certificate of credit card limit . Submit the certificate along with your sponsors ID and notarized letter of sponsorship to the embassy as proof of funds. In this case because u are using a sponsor the certificate or credit card limit should be in the sponsors name

Remember you can always combine both options (certificate of credit card limit and payslips)

You can also use more than one sponsor.

If you are self sponsored :
use the certificate of credit card limit option. Remember since u are self sponsored it should be in your name.

This has been explained several times in the previous pages . Please people take out time to read previous pages.

Bank statements are not allowed by polish embassy

I think I have answered most of the financial questions. If you still need any other clarifications please post your question here I will answer at my soonest availability.

Thanks so much for this.

What if the person is a business owner? Will he need to submit CAC document and Tax statement?

Also, since he's a business owner, what will he submit in place of certified letter of employment?

If he's to submit tax statement, should it be his personal tax, or the company's tax statement?
And also, is it at the ministry of foreign affairs we will notarize the sponsorship letter?

Yes, the company is actually genuine. He use to business with the government, but was just out of business for like 2 years now due to change of government. Though he still does small small work, but not as big as before when was doing projects for govt.

So he'll generate a payslip, and give me his cac document and tax statement. I'm safe right?

Please can anybody confirm this for me?

Also, do I have to do the legalization before visa appointment, or I can do it after?

3months recent payslips is required.

Hello everyone,

Please if i were to use a sponsors payslip for proof of funds instead of credit card limit, how much per month is sufficient? Is 800k net salary okay for masters with 1900 euros per semester?

Also my passport will expire like two months before the end of my 2 years master program? Hope it won't be a problem at the visa application stage

Please kindly assist @blessednendowed
Thank you

I also asked this question earlier, would appreciate if anyone can answer.

Mine is a business owner, but he'll generate the payslips. I want to know if they'll check the bank statement to know if the person actually earns that amount?

Also, how many months payslips would I need to show for the POF

For authentication at the Ministries, transcript+degree certificate+Waec certificate

For LEGALISATION, you only need your transcript as it is + your degree certificate

I'm a DE student too.

Hello, please the transcript+degree certificate+Waec certificate, does this apply to people doing Masters as well? That is, do I have to authenticate my Waec cert, even for Msc or it only applies to Bsc?

The legalization is at Ministry of Foreign Affairs right?
Travel / Re: Polish Student Visa by Gundi: 3:25pm On Jul 22, 2021
Schon007:

The steps you mentioned are what you do to have legalized documents (this is required by your school)
Visa application is a different ball game:
-After getting an offer, paying tuition and the tuition is confirmed by the school, the school will send your acceptance letter and certificate.
If the school has hostel accommodation then you should follow their accommodation reservation process (please reserve for a full year i.e minimum of 12months). If no hostel accommodation, then use an external accommodation (same ≥ 12months).

What the embassy needs is your
- school acceptance documents
- accommodation documents
- financial documents
- flight itinerary
- travel health insurance documents
- passport photo (specifications are stated on the website)
- international passport and a copy of your data page
- €80
and completely filled and signed application form from the konsulat site

Please note: The€30 you mentioned is for legalization. Also bear in mind that the appointments are done differently

Thanks a lot for the feedback.

Just to confirm, do I have to legalize both my Bsc cert and transcript, or I can only legalize my Bsc cert?

Also, I heard something about Notarization, am I doing this for my Bsc cert and transcript as well? And which of the ministries am I doing this?

That aside please, since I can't use my relative in US as a sponsor, I am planning to use my dad.

He owns his business, although he has not been operational for sometime now.

Can he generate payslips, and say he has been paying himself a salary of like 850k, and I'll get his CAC docs and tax statement.

I'm not submitting bank statement right? So will the embassy actually check his bank account, to see if he has truly been receiving the salary?

Also, how many months payslip would I need to take to the embassy?
Travel / Re: Polish Student Visa by Gundi: 12:38pm On Jul 22, 2021
hello guys,

I know it has been talked about before.

But, I just want to be triple sure again.

After paying tuition, or even before paying the tuition fee.

The steps in order are:

1. Take Bsc and Transcript to Ministry of Education in Abuja for authentication right?

2. Take the authenticated documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Legalization right?

Then after doing that, I'll now proceed to take the legalized/authenticated documents alongside the visa documents the school will send, to Polish embassy for Visa application right.

Did I get the order please?

And is there any other document I'm supposed to take to Abuja asides the one I have mentioned?

Also, at what part am I supposed to pay 30 euros that has been mentioned in the thread.

Would appreciate your responses.

Thank you.

Hello.
Be patient with opole. Don’t rush and pay another application fees in another school yet. Just send a mail to Opole telling them that you applied for your program and have paid your application fees but up till this moment they have not sent you their admission decision. Tell them you need their decision to enable you make your decision as admission in most schools is coming to an end for October intakes.
As for that your agency I will advise your run far from them. Don’t go close to that office agn. You can pay your fees through any bank of your choice and the money will get to the school

Thank you boss. I'll write to the school first thing tomorrow

That information that Nigerian Banks are slow in processing payments might be an old information. I used form A to pay my fees and in less than 48 hours was processed and the school confirmed. By the way, I use Polaris Bank and I do not know the processing time of other banks but anyway, shouldn't take a week to get processed. The rates are usually very fair, most times less than 500 naira to 1 Euro whereas black market rate can go as much as 700 naira. Transferwise is also a good channel as it gets processed fast.

Thank you so much for this, I was wondering why they were saying 600 for 1 euros, and they were scaring me off that if I pay on my own, it'll take weeks or months before the school receives it.

Please that transfer wise, how does it work?
I have only used it to received funds from outside the country before, but I have not used it to make payment. and I think CBN has stopped nigerians from using the platform, so how can I use transfer wise?

Or should I just resolve to use Polaris bank, can I pay through Polaris without opening an account with them?

dennison4luv:

Agency ko agency ni... when you have this platform what are you doing with agent. The informations here 90% of the agents did not know it. I was the one that one guy that is forming agent to use FCMB to pay his clients tuition fees, he used zenith abs gtbank and it was taking more than 3 weeks to debits him, but now he is FCMB and stanbic bank.
Please go to any branch is FCMB and stanbic bank open account with them if you don't have any before, tell them that you want to pay ur tuition fees with FORM A, fill the form and fund ur account,.. when paid my tuition fees the exchange was €1=#493.5

How long does FCMB/Stanbic take to reflect payment in the school?
Travel / Re: Polish Student Visa by Gundi: 2:08am On Jul 20, 2021
Hello guys,

Great work, and thank you to everyone sharing first hand information.

I have tried reading some pages and have gotten some information, but I have a few questions:

1. I want to use my sister in the US as a sponsor, and I'm thinking of telling her to help me pay my tuition fee, hopefully it'll be faster, as I heard that Nigerian banks take a long time before it reflects in the school account. I saw in one of the pages that it's not advisable, can I just know why please?

2. I also saw in one of the thread pages that, one can use Transfer Wise to pay application fee. Can I also use it to my tuition fee?

3. I applied to Opole since April, and was just informed 2 weeks ago that I cannot be accepted for Masters program, because of my cgpa, and I would have to do an undergraduate degree. I accepted to do an undergraduate degree, but they still haven't sent a letter of admission yet. Has anyone experienced this?.

4. Since Opole is taking too long to give me admission, i have applied to WSEI Lublin. Is anyone studying in the school, and how is the city/school like, in terms of environment, jobs etc.

5. Do you think I still have a good chance to meet up with resumption for October, if hopefully Opole or Lublin gives me admission before the end of this month. Considering, visa application and all the legilization brouhaha.

6. If I can't use Transfer Wise, and my sister can't pay for me, what bank can I use to pay my tuition fee, and the payment would go very fast. Because the agency handling my admission is saying they can pay my tuition for me, but their rate is #600 per euro.

Also, I saw in the thread, something about CC account. Please what is a CC account and how does it work? Can I use it to pay for my tution fee, and it'll be very fast?

I know my questions are plenty, please pardon me.
I'm still trying to read all from page 1.

Thank you in anticipation.

First things first.
Look for available vacancies on reputable websites and apply by filling online forms.

For starters, have a look here: https://www.jobs.ac.uk/categories/lecturer-jobs

Attend the interview (Can be done virtually on zoom or Skype etc).

Impress the panel by beating ALL other applicants hands down. I mean thorough beating, especially other competing applicants from the UK and EU.

Receive an email:
congratulations, we are pleased to notify you that the interview panel, after a rigorous process has decided to offer you the job of lecturer ....”

The university will provide you with an electronic certificate of sponsorship.

You use the certificate to apply for UK work visa.

You, your other half (if any) and ALL your biological (or legally adopted children) under the age of 18 packs your bags.

You reach airport, and sing...
‘Bye bye, to Buhari’
‘Bye bye to Adamu Adamu’ ( did you even know that is the current Education minister’s name?)
‘Bye bye to ASUU’ - I know you will miss ASUU

Lol, see as the thing sweet.

Please I want to ask, if someone is not married yet and gets a job in UK, can he go to UK for a year, then come back to do weddin?; can the partner come on dependant Visa after the wedding, or it's until the 5years stay in UK and then ILR stage before one can now file for the partner?

There is something called CoS.
It stands for Certificate of Sponsorship.
An employer who needs your services issues you with a CoS.
Note that not all companies/employers are permitted to issue CoS.
Once you get a CoS, you apply for a Work Visa. A typical (and popular) work visa is called a Tier-2 visa.
This is me, trying to be nice. Because if you look again at the bolded part above, you already know exactly what the legal process is. It would appear you have decided to conceive some wuruwuru in your mind and you only want to get some sort of validation/endorsement.

Lol @wuruwuru....that was why I actually came here for guidance to know if it was a good path or not, since most of the companies have been saying they don't offer sponsorship.

I was just looking to see another alternative.

But I now understand, I guess I'll just keep applying till I'm able to get a company that can issue the CoS.

Thanks for all the responses, it was very helpful.

Yes, on the black market....... grin

No, an illegal act cannot undergo a legal process......... cheesy

Thank you, but what do you mean by black market, I don't really understand?

Plus, let me give a little background into my story.

I've been submitting applications for jobs in my field, and have gotten quite a number of feedbacks, but by the time I get to the end of the online interview stage and they ask me to come to the office for final face to face meeting, that's where the issue always come up. I'll tell them that I'm not in UK at the moment, and I'll need visa sponsorship.

Most times, they respond with the fact that they can't sponsor, or they just stop responding.

That was why I asked the initial question of getting a job on visit Visa.

Hello everyone,

I trust that you are all doing well.

I want to ask if it's possible to apply for a job and start work, while on a visit Visa in the UK.

If this is possible, does it mean that the company can file for my work permit if accepted for the job position?

Looking forward to the response.

Thank you.
