@eclipsehemmy I take exception to your statement saying I didn't get it from any officer. I dont owe you any explanation and it is your kind that make alot of people not to post useful intel her. Moreso, I said at the end of my statement that I hope it isnt true. If the first publication wasn't in the public space why will they be a debunk message?? It was necessary to share because it concerns this group. Also, you shock me as thou you are not a Nigerian, even your father Monguno has denied what he clearly said yesterday. This is Nigeria and this is our reality. Finally I implore you to use your senses and apply wisdom when interacting with people especially in a faceless forum. Please be guided. 3 Likes |

NIGERIAN ARMY DID NOT ISSUE ANY STATEMENT ON SSC/DSSC SCREENING The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to fake information being circulated in the social media by mischief makers claiming that the just concluded SSC/DSSC screening has been scrapped because of the “change in administration of the Nigerian Army”. The fake report also stated that SSC course 47 and DSSC Course 26 registration will begin from 1st of September 2021 till 1st of October 2021 and that all applicants that registered for SSC 47 and DSSC 26 are advised to register again. The Nigerian Army wishes to inform the general public that it does not charge any fees for online registration and other related matters and advice people to be wary of activities of scammers. The Army states that the above information is totally false as the statement did not emanate from the office of the Military Secretary nor any department of the Army. The general public is hereby advised to discountenance the report as it is a handiwork of jobless mischief makers. They is no need arguing over this. The knowledge that is being passed is that of basic mathematical division that says: Any number divided by itself is 1. These can be either positive or negative integers but not 0. As long as the values of both the numerator and denominator are same the answer is 1. This doesn't mean the answer of x=1 by the teacher and the book is wrong because 1/1=1 and also doesn't mean any student with answers other than x=1 should be marked wrong because even -10/-10=1 It solely depends on the application of knowledge and understanding of the teacher and how this is passed on to the students. This is my one cent... |

Enskynelson: @Enskynelson, Samisha, Anthony and others Please how truthful is it that NOUN has started mobilising her undergraduate for NYSC... Cause a friend of mine told me he was sent a message that He has been mobilized for NYSC that He should go and register.... I told him He was probably mobilized and told to register for His exclusion letter but He said it was for Service. Please anybody with useful information on this should kindly share.. Thanks |

The issue with NOUN TMA being 30marks and a talk of the town for employers is really not an issue considering how other Open Universities in the world operate. Before now, the TMA was 40marks and was later reduced to 30marks. Compared to conventional Universities in the Country, a whole lot is done behind the scene that are not made public e.g the 75% attendance of students in lectures before being allowed to write exams which is not followed, the continuous moderation upon moderation(I.e adding of marks) when students fail/ perform so badly, the let my people go thing, the serious rate of bribery and corruption, the sex for marks, the purchase of certificates, area of concentration during exams, duplication of assignment by students, etc. When compared to NOUN I think and believe the difference is clear. Moreso, it is easier to go to a conventional University than to study in NOUN. Only serious and dedicated students make a good result from NOUN. 30 Marks is never the issue but the quality of graduates produced goes a long way. NOUN students are still doing great exploit out there. My one cent though.... 4 Likes |

Good day Gentlemen, a source from MS said the list may be published most likely on Monday that is tomorrow. Tomorrow is already pregnant let's wait and see what it delivers. I won't be held liable if the list isn't published tomorrow cause most of us like the blame game and that's why we don't get information on this forum as much and as frequent as we should. This is the Intel I got, let's pray it happens so. 3 Likes |

SSC 7/8 Per State while DSSC will have from 4-6 candidates. FCT always have the lowest number of intakes while some key states will have higher intakes. But with the Army surprises are inevitable. |

Morning Officers in the making. Speculation, expectations and anticipation are normal scenarios while waiting for the final list. As for the list, the Intel I have didn't specify any date for the release of the list and seriously speaking I was told funding was part of the challenge. The list is still in COAS office for approval and to avoid any alteration except that done by COAS himself. Gentlemen let's relax and calm our nerves the list must come out and it draws nearer everyday. Please if U are taking any form of drugs or enhancer kindly stop it now, these are the first set of people that ll be withdrawn. Any hard drugs take about 3 months before they get flushed out of human system b4 U go say nah ur village pple do U. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Gentlemen Officer Cadets warm regards to all in the house. The list is no longer at MS but at COAS office for approval. Before now they is a serious deliberation for SSC candidates to do their amphibious and airborne course alongside their nine months at the academy which ll make it 11 to 12 months for them. If this is approved, then resumption will be this year if not it's next year. Right now, nobody can give U any exact date for list publication and date of resumption until the list is out of the COAS office approved. As for finance, before any government recruitment is made public for applicants, a framework of what is needed would have been made know and approved before they can proceed though the disbursements of this funds may now be a challenge. Let's just be patient and occupy yourself with something else the list will come out when it ll come out. For now, enjoy still being a civilian. Victory is from God Alone. 4 Likes 1 Share |

DSSC like they always say is shayi and a place of less pains and jobs but them too go hear am ooo but not as much as ssc guys. As regards your survival financially, the Army will provide almost everything U ll be needing. U ll be given a monthly stipend of 43k plus for the SSC guys and about 70k plus for the DSSC guys monthly, ur 3 square meal is guaranteed but U may not like it but not to worry they ll be a controlled mini supermarket where U can buy some items but no water. On arrival the NA would give U blue short and white unmarked vest, white canvass, green boxers, white bedsheet, Army color blanket, Army sweater and others even though U were asked to bring them. Please bring urs ooo because they ll check them at the entrance. No Sundays for a month or more and no visitors or movement outside ACA is permitted and within Aca U must not be seen alone, ur phones ll be collected until ur first pass after 3 to 4 months. lebete3000: |

The list is going to shock a lot of people especially those that think and believe they have very strong godfathers than God. It's all about destiny, time and chance and all this is guaranteed only by God our creator. Some came in forcefully but didn't pass out, others dashed, some where withdrawn based on BP and drugs and other things the NA don't accept, some passed out and died some months later. Course 43 have lost about 5 of their coursemates, one slumped and died in the bathroom, the other road accident and others by the dreaded sect and fulani herdsmen. In front of the entrance to NDA old site is a moulded coffin and at the drill shead U see the inscription that "here we make U to do it even against your wish" as a soldier you have sold your life and peace for that of others and that is the pride of being one. What am saying in essence is that God should be your priority and nothing else because He is the only one that can give U the Job and keep U through it. As the job dey sweet nah so e get bitter part. Gentlemen enjoy being a civilian now before U belong. Enjoy 6 Likes |

Guys resume very light no excess luggage except you have enough gas to hunch from the gate to the hostel with it. Also get ready for drill square test, dash back from bush camps, Novices boxing, watering and lots of jobs, head planting on the parade ground, flogging from drill instructors with their stick and crawling on your kneels from one end to the other, charging through tunnels where dead rat and all sorts are, forward rolling, 3 man carriage and a whole lot. It's fun but walahi your body go tell U and U ll never remain the same. U ll be under Ashanti Battalion which has two companies, Tamandu and Kolito. Tamandu are Job Marshals and Commandos they don't see peace and always buy jobs. This is for the SSC guys. Gentlemen guard up for the task ahead. Victory is from God Alone. 3 Likes |

Millex: Mimzy is right and her explanation is on point. It's Combatant and not commission. SSC is short service Combatant while DSSC is Direct short service commission. SSC is mainly for the NA and train in NDA for 9months passing out with the regular 5th tamars. |
