ACCREDITATION GUIDELINES FOR NIGERIAN UNIVERSITY GAMES (NUGA) FINALS

� The Chairmen/Directors of all hosts of NUGA preliminaries should forward to the NUGA secretariat the original copies of lists of accredited athletes duly signed by NUGA accreditation officer in each zone and the results of Zonal preliminaries on or before Tuesday 3rd of September, 2013.
� All eligible athletes (only qualifiers from the Zonal Preliminaries) are to fill the NUGA registration form on line by accessing the OAU portal (Access is via http://oauife.edu.ng, clicking eportal or directly on http://eportal.oauife.edu.ng) and then click on OAU NUGA 2013 Registration. The athlete should bear in mind that a recent coloured passport photograph of not more than 50 KB in size will be required for uploading.
� It is mandatory for every athlete to provide valid JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBER on the registration form.
� Postgraduate students are expected to bring with them original copies of their degree certificate(s), NYSC discharge letter, admission letter and tuition fee payment receipt to the accreditation centre for final screening.
� It is important to note that the accreditation team will not accredit more than stipulated number of athletes in team sports. Universities are therefore required to adhere strictly to this rule with respect to team sports.
� �After a successful on line registration, a copy of OAU NUGA 2013 registration form bearing a recent coloured passport photograph should be printed in colour and must be duly signed by appropriate authorities as indicated on the form.
� Each participating university is expected to send one ICT expert on a day to be announced to collate the list of verified and cleared athletes.
� It is important that each participating University should have a functional portal accessible by the ICT expert since information on athletes (biodata with passport photographs, evidence of current tuition fee payment, results etc.) may be required during this period.
