You can buy directly from Premier Seeds depots in Ibadan or Sango or Kaduna or any of their depots. They sell at N375 per kg. You can also request that the sales reps send to you after you pay them. Some seed dealers here too sell Oba 98
Please Where Is Premier Seeds Depots In Sango? And If I Can Get Their Contact No.

[quote author=EntMirror post=57692001]Why do I need to waste over 18 years of my life reading and cramming theories that will never be used in the real world? Why would I be in a system that prepares me into being an employee, into being a slave? A lot of people might say that everyone must not be an entrepreneur, my response is usually brutal. Of course everyone can't be an entrepreneur, everyone can't be rich.

I just feel pity whenever I go around campus at night, watching students with their lamps and books, reading like their life depend on it. I'm not against education, I'm against school..

It's true that school teaches you how to write essay, how to solve basic trigs and sums.. But that doesn't discard the fact that time and resources used are just wasted.

May The Good God Bless U Abundantly For This Writeup. U just told the bitter truth

It is called corchorus. It does need to be parboiled before planting. Some people "soak it in warm water" not parboil to destroy every inhibitor that will prevent it from germinating. If you get your seed from a sure source then you don't need to soak in "warm water"
Make your beds,if you have dried poultry droppings or cow dung mix it with the soil then plant your seeds by sprinkling in it on the bed but make sure you mix your seed with a small portion of soil before planting. There are different methods of planting though but the one I just told you is the broadcasting method. After planting, water it immediately then continue wateribg "every morning and evening" till you harvest.regular weeding is important. google for more informations too.

Just make bed and plant your vegetable leaves' seed. It needs no nursery.
Add poultry droppings when making the bed.
You can as well apply nitrogen fertilizer after one month of germination.
i heard some seed need to be parboiled before planting like ewedu, just not sure maybe its just the ewedu

1. your point of lay should start laying eggs as soon they start mating. some can even lay eggs same week you stock them ( they must have been fertilized b4 you get them).
2. Usually, for AA, the eggs hatch 2-3 weeks after laying, with a range of 10-31 days, depending on temperature. A. achatina has a high hatching rate of 90+%; even 100% hatch-ability is not uncommon. for AM, The incubation period, from egg to hatchling, is around 4 weeks. also depend on temperature.
3. get from another farmer in lagos or someone that can get it from the village. dont buy from the market cos the rate of mortality will be damn high.
Thank U Brother

I process them for my personal consumption. They is done by paying 50 naira each for killing and dressing a bird.
I store for at most 4 months (3 broilers a week consumption) to cater for my family needs.

For those that want to sell, it sold to frozen feed stores where it is priced per kg. Lokoja is about 950-1000 per kg dressed bird.
do u knw maybe those that help kill and dress are in lagos.

Hello, been following your thread. I had some turkey a while back and the females laid eggs. They would incubate the eggs but still it won't hatch. When I complained to someone, they told me its the type of feed I gave them, and the eggs are not fertilized.
I got some turkey last month and they are doing just fine. Three males and Two females.
Do do you identify males from that tender age?
Try Feed Them Layer Mash Wen They Are About To Start Laying. Turkey Business Is Very Lucrative If U Have Much U Can Take The Egg To Hatchery So They Can Hatch For U And Then U Sell The Day Old

It all depends on you.i prefer broilers for now because I don't have enough space and broiler breeding doesn't take too long unlike layers that lay for 2 years.
Guess layers is more profitable because of the eggs that they lay and the bird that you will sell thereafter.
I would advise broilers for starting on a small scale.
i dnt think layers is more profitable than broiler, u have to feed layers for abt 20-24weeks before they start laying. d only problem i have with broiler is their market is not readily available
