@Hafeez89
Thank u for your post. Firstly, God Almighty will grant us all study permit and renewal of study permit(we still dey hustle that one too) . Amen. If it comes out as though am bragging, please I don't mean it to be that at all (all my friends can attest to that). At the very end, God is the only one that grant favours it's not by our own making or perfection.
Why I may not sound too friendly to Kofoironic was because of 2 reasons.

Firstly, he was telling someone(tysamuel) off for asking question(u can check my comment where I quoted him). He tasted his own medicine and he doesn't like it.

Secondly, we all know it's not easy securing visa/RP but even in the midst of our perceived "propaganda", how do we do our own best(mentally and financially, its draining). My pointing about my case was not to brag(not one bit) but to let Kofoironic know that the issue might be with his application(kindly note that the outcome can and hopefully will still come out positive despite the delay. We all would love to get decision quick so that we can move on to other phase of our life). Another Nigerian came in here too and went he to interview the same period. But most of us (me included) like to blame negative outcome on propaganda/something/someone while taking the positive outcome as a result of our handiwork. Why not see if there is anything you can/should have done differently (that was just my suggestion in that post). I have failed in some of my endeavours but I was brought up in such a way not to look for excuses but solutions. And if I think I've done my absolute best and it's not working out, then I move on. I pointed out a few things I "think" (I don't know for certain) will help our future application but so many people choose to see another thing. When I was preparing my application, I disturbed two persons on this group (I have never claimed to know it all) and through their guidance God granted me RP).[/quote

No hate bro ..one Love bro..Wish everyone the very best!

[quote author=kofoironic post=73548362]I said what I said: "most people" -- I have done my research. Your sanctimoniousness no be here. You talk like anyone would waste the time, money, and efforts just so they'd get denied or get kept waiting for more than 6 months (whether positive decision or not, is 6 months the legal time to keep people waiting for a RP for studies decision?)...

Please go and sleep. Enjoy your 1 year RP, there is still another application you have to make to renew next year, and the probability that you may have to wait may be high.

It is ridiculous that you think we did not move mountains here to apply for the RP, and it is also pitiable that you think the Finnish people are very sincere-- until you don't get that Job you qualify for because you're not Finnish. Boy, BYE.

[/quote

@ Yangabiwa, even though you are entitled to your own opinion, you should have at least be soft with your expression towards kofoironic, that you got yours on time shouldn't make you have too much bragging right as if every other applicant got there documentation wrong.i want you to realize it is God that make it possible, not your own effort or your so claimed 'proper documentation'.please try to be humble as much as you can. We are all aware of the anti-immigration campaign especially towards 3rd world countries citizens which we suspect is the cause of the delay, most of European countries are trying to be more strict with there immigration policy. If possible they have there wa,they will want to deny all of us.And for all of us still waiting for decision over 3-4 months now, I pray we all have a positive outcome. The mental stress is not funny, at least I knew close to 10 people which we are all still waiting,so to some great extent kofoironic is quite right.Let's stay positive, may God have mercy on us.

Its more than frustrating, to me i think they don't just want Nigerians

You said it all bro!!....I have once said it '3rd world countries'..I think we are paying the price of the bad predicament of some of our people over there...Just my own thought...Very bitter & frustrating experience!

I second your idea. We can also tweet at their Ambassador to Nigeria on twitter, @migri and tweet at our foreign affairs. We could use anonymous accounts tho.
I appreciate your timely response my fellow compatriot, I see a Nigerian Spirit,I always have one belief in life that nothing is impossible that is why I want us to challenge the status quo. At least they have embassy in our country and they even make money out of our application fee, then only we as a person is left for us to know our right. At this juncture I will suggest if we set up a wassap group which I can create so that we can have a timely and active forum to reach consensus. The idea of Twitter is highly welcome,as social media is a powerful tool but the most appropriate channel to express our grievance is through the Nigerian ambassador to Finland/Ministry of foreign affairs.

Here is my wassap contact 08110071800..I look forward to you guys messages.
Let's take our destiny in our hands. God bless you guys.

Nawa oh! So nobody else has still received a decision till now?
My good people in the house, please I want us to have a crictical look at the delay in issuing us the RP by migri this year. Even though it is beyond our jurisdiction as all the authority to grant/deny is vested in their authority. We have people that is now over 4months they did their interview and yet no decision. We the applicant is at the receiving end. I want to suggest we take proactive measure in making our voices heard,I'm thinking Nigerian ministry of foreign affairs can help us contact either migri/embassy on our behalf,or any other suggested agency that can contact them on our behalf.
Lastly,I discussed this delay with one Bangladesh applicant and he told me maybe Finland don't want to welcome 3rd world countries citizens in thier country anymore that is why they are complicating the decision process, cuz all other nationality have been attended to by the same migri and they have started thier studies in Finland. I am writing this piece to awaken us and have a roundtable discussion to reach a consensus on what we can do on our own path because we can't just keep folding our arms and watch as time fly away.
Even if they want to serve us a negative decision,it is better they do so on time so that we can start planning for a fresh application or apply to another country as some of us are having such thought.

I await your kind contribution. May God see us through.

Congratulations on your acceptance.

It really does not matter whether paper or electronic application. Just have the required and supplementary documents sent.

The interview is more of like a direct question and answer as the interviewer is concentrated on typing your transcript/response and only raises his/her head to confirm your answers. At the end of the interview session you'll be given the printed transcript to check if there's any discrepancy between what you said and what was typed for correction. If you made mistakes in your response you can request for the answers to be corrected. Your documents will also be returned to you.

Most of the questions you'll be asked are from your application and try to be as honest as possible.

Very important: Know your school's name, location, course of study there, courses you will be taking and the programme's relevance to your career/home country's development. You will be asked.

For the funding:
You will be requested to fill a questionnaire about the funds in your account. The largest amount deposited and by who and why. If you are self-sponsored; you will fill out your employment or your means of your source of funds.
Your monthly income, the name, location and contact information of this job. Know the year you opened your bank account.

If you have a sponsor:
You'll be asked his/her relationship with you and why he/she is sponsoring you.
Know the contact info of your sponsor off hand if he/she isn't your parent. The job your sponsor does, position at the workplace along with contact info, nature of the job, class of company if your sponsor holds a top position there (plc or ltd) monthly income from the job, if your sponsor is into any partnership, if your sponsor has rental other sources of income(you should add all these amount up as the monthly income if applicable).

Try to have as much info as you can on your school, sponsor and funds. Questions will vary depending on many factors.
Thanks for this information bro..may God bless you...please reply your pm..let's connect.

God bless everyone for these contributions. Been a silent observer but I have a question, in case anyone has had a similar experience.

- I hold a BSc in Architecture and I can't find any school that offers the Masters program in English. Even though I don't a problem learning the language, i don't have the luxury of time. Deadlines are closing fast. So I'm thinking of applying for a related course (Urban Design), get the admission and when I travel, I can take language classes and try changing back to Architecture Masters.

I don't know if it's a feasible idea or it won't work.

Alternatively, does anyone know any German school that offers Architecture Masters in English?

Thank you guys.
