You guys just don't like the truth but rather believe in teachings that soothe your heads and lie to and oh collect your hard earned money as tithe and enrich your leaders that are meant to preach and keep you in the straight path.
Faxole:

The political correct leftists who support Islam and shield it from criticism are mostly ignoramuses who know nothing about the history of the religion and the danger it poses to the world. They are just neo-marxists who see the world through the lens of oppression of minority groups and they always side with the minority, irrespective of the demerits of that minority.

According to them, the problem isn't with Islam, the problem is with the west and it's patriarchal, oppressive structures. They see the current woes of Islam, like terrorism, as a direct product of western imperialism and they see any hostile behavior of muslims towards other cultures as a response to racism and the attempt to impose their cultures on the muslim societies. To them, there isn't any link between the behavior of muslims and Islam. What a load of bullshit!!

These airheads most certainly haven't read the Quran and the Hadiths. If they have, they'll see that there is no internal contradiction between the violent behavior of muslims around the world, and the doctrines of Islam. And another thing that surprises me is that most of these same political correct leftists are also feminists, but yet they side with the most misogynistic religion in the history of time.

Because its a holy land so the people living in it are saints and holy? They should be but they are humans. It does not negate the fact what is wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it. Yes as a follower of any religion or anything, you should be a reference of that which you are following but humans have their ways and can sin. BTW Rome is a holy land does not make everyone a saint or holy and Nigeria is rich is resources does that make everyone rich and law abiding? No its probably the most corrupt country in the world.

I don't think you need people to tell you what you purpose of travel is. You and only you know what you purpose of travel is. So if they reject you based on that, then clearly outline what your purpose is in the letter and the VO will look into and decide whether its valid and inline with their visa requirement.

PLEASE HOW DO I BUTRESS TO THE VO "PURPOSE OF TRAVEL". THAT'S THE GROUND OF REJECTION.

Well its better off for our applications to be processed in Nigeria or another West African country as they understand our way of life and situations in the country. For the UK processors, its going to be tough because most of the time they will not understand the state of affairs and hence most often than not be biased.

mevisbleek:
Applied for one of my sister's, below is her timeline

Application Date = Jan 5th, 2018
Biometric Done = Jan 6th, 2018
Refusal Date = Jan 17th, 2018

The response was super fast. She applied online in Nigeria and also did the biometric in Nigeria but her refusal came from Canadian Embassy in London, UK. I guess the embassy in UK is helping to clear some back log from Nigeria.
Travel / Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by hajidel: 6:14pm On Jan 13, 2018
It will be as long as they require to 'review your eligibility'. However if your passport is still with them you can request it and if they approve your visa then will ask you to resend it.
I applied for my wife first and it took 2 weeks for them to approve her but then i applied for my parents and it took 2 weeks for them to refuse them lol. The irony is my parents are more financial stable and have no reason to emigrate yet they were refused and my wife was granted. Good luck though

How was it fraud? Jay Jay is undoubtedly talented but in all the years each of the player he was up against outperformed him. Played for bigger and better clubs and won trophies and were instrumental in their respective club and national teams. Jay Jay was neither, nigeria won nothing, and his clubs, Eintracht, PSG and Bolton?? what did they achieve then?? So please lets be objective at times.

valgbo:
The biggest fraud was on Jay Jay Okocha............so good they named him twice...... he could have easily won the African best player award on multiple occasions if it was fair and true......... still a great player with or without it nobody can deny that he was a legend.......... My wife is due around that time and i do have relatives in canada but zero contact and i have never been to canada before. So yeah that is an option that can be explored sharing accommodation. I will be going to USA end of new year month and may be i can go to canada to scout out there.

Olalacious:
Hello my people,

LONG POST ALERT!!!

Weldone and thanks to everyone keeping this thread alive

I don dey read this thread for the past two weeks (from page 1 oh), in fact the page is permanently opened on my browser and i just keep reading in my spare time plus taking a lot of screenshots for future reference grin grin
Like someone said, this thread should be a taking and also giving back thread (Not only taking without sharing your experience), I will start sharing my experience as it goes and will keep on updating as I progress on this journey.

In 2015 I applied for US tourist visa and got a 2year entry. At POE in US told CBP i was also going to have my baby in the US along with the vacation. Baby came, all bills paid got zero balance from doctor and hospital. Fast forward to 2017, myself and hubby wanted to renew the visa, VO said why didnt we declare in the first interview that we wanted to have baby in the US. Told the VO that the initial VO who interviewed us did not ask any question on that and the plan was only to visit. He would have any of our story. Long story short, he denied us the visa.

Then I decided to try the Canada route. Read this forum like crazy to understand how to go about the application especially when you have been denied a US visa. After a lot of reading and digesting, myself and hubby summoned courage to apply for the TR visa. Plan was that we would travel for a visit in December as a tourist and then use that opportunity to see if we could scout for a doc/Gynae/settle accommodation plans etc and then next year when baby is due will travel for child birth. We submitted the application (via Paper route) went to VFS to submit all the requested supporting docs. This was on 22nd Oct. Exactly 10 calendar days after submitting the application, hubby got a call from the Canada embassy. Basically he was asked for the reason why we were refused a US visa. He then clearly explained to the Canadian VO that we were not no sufficient ties back home. He also mentioned that we had our baby there as well but all the bills were paid in full. Apparently the Canadian embassy had also called the US embassy people to find out why we were not given the visa but they did not give any convincing answer to the Canadian embassy hence the reason the Canadian embassy called us to find out further. Also during the convo, the Canadian VO then asked my husband if I was currently pregnant. My husband said yes and that we plan to also have the baby there next year but the reason for the initial visit was for tourism. The Canadian VO was like it is not illegal or a crime to go to Canada to give birth. If you have sufficient fund to cover it, you would most likely be given. They even called my husband’s company HR manager to confirm if salary certificate which we provided was correct (no be small thing).

Long story short, he told us to send receipts of our medical bills in the US as well as the refusal document which was received from US embassy. We sent all the details to him and even put the US hospital and doctor’s contact info to call them if they have any doubts. Exactly one week after sending all the details, we received a mail from the Canadian embassy to come and drop our passports. Got our passports back today. Mine stamped Multiple entry till 2021 hubby till 2019 as passport expires in 2019.

My peace of mind is that I have clearly declared to the VO that I would be giving birth so I no get fear for POE issues.
In my opinion, Canada Embassy processes your VISA in a fairer manner than US. They take time to review your documents properly and then make a decision based on that. But US ehn, its like before you even show up at the embassy, they have already made a decision without checking your docs..

Now unto the next stage of preparation, Accommodation /OB GYN/Hospital to use. As I no get family for Canada, Ontario will be my best bet as I can see from people’s review on this thread that it seems to be a relatively less expensive to birth there. I will start contacting the hospitals and docs now.

@Hotstepper, please help a sister out. How can you assist with accommodation options available and which city do you recommend I stay in (Brampton or Toronto)? Which is easier to move around in? Do you have anyone I can contact in arranging accommodation for a 2 month period. Also I have contacts of Dr Ayodele and Dr Abou of Brampton hospital and I have the Dr Grace contact of humber river. I just need to understand if I should call the doctor first or the hospital first or do I have to first get a Family Doctor who will then refer me to the hospital/Doctor. As I don’t have family doctor, please help if you can refer me to someone. Thanks a lot and look forward to your feedback.

Any other preggy mama bound for Ontario around April/May 2018 who doesn’t mind sharing accommodation? I need to plan this waka well in advance.

Thanks a lot to everyone and wishing every mama out there a safe one!!!

Canada and US share some information mainly violent criminals, terrorists, human traffickers, INTERPOL wanteds but not mundane info like you being married to husband A or Husband B or misrepresentation from one embassy to the other. But we all out here know that a lot of people apply for visa with not so quite the 'correct' information in an effort to be successful in the application. The key is be consistent in your 'lies' as if you are not careful they will eventually catch up later on.
So

kokorita:
Pls house help me out. I applied for usa visa 2014. And I told them am married. I got the usa visa and I travelled . Renewed my usa visa and I still got it. Presently I applied for Canada visa and I told dem am married. But not to the same man I told usa embassy. Please will Canada embassy verify my marriage status at usa embassy. Or will the embassy do me a mail. Am just worried. Cous when den asked have you been married before I said no. Because it was just an enagement then. No legal documents to prove my marriage den. But now I provided all the necessary documents cous am official married and we did court wedding to. Please house will the verify. And will did affect my application.
KaptainAfrika:
1. Applied for US Visa in 2014...you said you are married to Mr A
2. Applied for Canadian visa, and you said you are married to Mr B
3. You won't have to be worried, if you were consistent with your marital status. If you can defend the inconsistency, then you have nothing to be worried about.
4. Yes they share information, expect an email from the Canadian embassy, all the best in your defence of the different marital status.
5. If your response to the Canadian email isn't satisfactory, your US Visa might be revoked too.

Everything about Nigeria and Nigerians is all bluff and show off. The woman must have character and intelligence and leadership qualities to have been considered for that post.
And besides the first time (2004) i went to Nigeria, and whenever i have been (November 2016 latest) I felt embarrassed at what I saw driving from the Murtala Muhammed Airport through ikeja. With all the supposed wealth and billionaires they say Nigeria has, it was disgusting seeing the 'level' of 'development' there.

Religion / Re: My Six Year Old Half Brother Doesn't Seem To Understand That God Is Real by hajidel: 3:22pm On Sep 04, 2016
My sister that is the most difficult question that could ever face a believing human being. I had the same problem with my ex girlfriend who claimed to be christian but hardly went to church but had a very distorted view of religion or God. I guess thats why its called faith, to believe in the unseen and accept as they are. And to question his way of existence or coming about is the work of the devil to distort his mind. I am a muslim but in the Quran God said 'he guideth whom he wills and whosoever he guideth no man shall misguide and whomsoever he sends astray no man can show them the way'. Pray for God's intervention and be patient. My suggestion to you is this.
1. Be patient
2. Pray for him
3. Whatever blessings you receive in this life show and tell him is not due to your prowess or intelligence (it helps) there's someone up there that is responsible to guide you to the right path
4. Most importantly, who's is God and where did he come from? He is the supreme, master of the heavens and the earth and everything in between. Nothing happens by accident and the earth didn't come about by accident.

Sometimes i use this analogy.
When we go to school, at the end of the year we get tested in an exams. Same as life. Whatever we do here, we will be facing scrutiny and if you do well you pass and if you bad you fail. Doing well gets you a reward and failing gets you punishment. Another analogy, we have courts and judges and there are rules, constitutions and laws of the land we live. Breaking the rules will get you punished, there are misdemeanours, infractions and felonies based on the weight of the crime according to the laws of the land. And so we were brought here for a purpose to serve God and Him alone and he gave us rules through Prophets (like I mentioned earlier He guideth whom he wills and the prophets were those that He made as a voice to the people cos God won't come down to talk to us, he is a mystery but he's shown his mystery in the creations). By breaking the rules depending on the severity (unlike on earth where you are punished right away) our sins are accumulated until the day of Judgement when we will face God and he will show us everything that we have done and judged on that. On saying that, God is oft forgiving (He will forgive and forgive as long as you repent sincerely and never do that sin again) hence we are not put through trial for any misdemeanour as they happen.

I recommend a book called 'Towards understanding Islam'. Lets take the stereotype away for a second and just read through it as islam is a way of life. And some of the things might help towards answering some of the questions. Here is a link

http://www.quranenglish.com/new/Books/01%20Towards%20Understanding%20Islam.pdf

I'd love to discuss further if you want and I'm interested in this particular scenario as it unfolds with your bro and the steps you will take too in the resolution so i can learn from that too. Thank you and the Almighty God with all the powers bless you.

I have been trying for the past three (3) hours now to explain the concept of God to my six year old half brother. who recently just returned from the states. I tried reading using the bible and he asked me the most difficult but simple question. Big brother where did God come from if you said there was nothing in world!! I dropped the bible immediately.

I tried using nature to explain that the beautiful flowers, birds and sea were created by God. Then he asked me who created God because mama bird and papa bird will have junior bird and for the flowers I need to plant its seed for them to grow.. so big brother who is papa God

Thats a very fair thing to do. As it goes 'God guideth whom He wills, and if he guideth you, no man shall misguide you and if misguides you, no man shall guide you'. So like one early poster said, there are somethings we shouldn't even fathom to think never mind explain them, and that thing is God and how he came about. Thats the work of the devil (satan) finding its way in that young man. May we all be guided to the right path by the Almighty.
Auzubillah mina shaitani rajim (May Allah guide us against the cursed devil (satan)).

Romance / Re: Why White Men Will Forever Be Ahead Of Black Men. by hajidel: 10:13pm On Apr 24, 2016
The whole is better than the sum of its parts. If only after acknowledging what you just wrote which i can imagine you have known for a long time. What have you done to remedy the situation? To seek knowledge? Use the knowledge and create and innovate? And start something anew. Dare yourself and have no limits and maybe you will inspire a whole generation.

Stupedinluv:
This is not another derogatory message to black men but hard and real facts they need to digest before anything.

Its high time they looked at themselves hard and cry and work for change i e if they would ever have the resources to cause change.

Look around you and admit that black men all over the world worship white men. Whether in business, politics, invention, culture, development, etc. They see them as gods and reverence and submit to them.

Why gods? because all worshippers seek to pattern their lives after a deity. They try to emulate beings that are far supreme. In the same line, all black men want to grow and develop the same way white men have!

Have you ever wondered why they must copy the white man?

1. White men are smart: Yes there are dumb white men but the ratio of dumbness between white men and black men can be about 1 :1000.

You doubt?
Then ask yourself how few ordinary men can storm a whole continent of able-bodied men and render all of them powerless. Turned them into subjects, colonised and still recolonising them and bought many as slaves in exchange for cheap goods like mirrors. They are smart! They dont just plan they strategise properly and are future oriented. Till today, we are yet to recover and you think we have the smartest men in Africa? Big joke.

Black men play cool. Cool. Cool helps nobody! They were playing cool when they smarties took everything they had. Everything. Their pride and their shame!!!

2. White men are brave and nature friendly: They are fearless generally. They are not afraid to try. They love, appreciate nature better. They can go to the last place in the universe just to behold the beauty of nature. They are explorers. White men are unstoppable. To stop a white man you must be ahead of him in all ramifications. This attribute has endered them respect and admiration. This is why nobody takes any research /invention seriously until it has been approved by them.

Can black men do a quarter of this without heavy support from the alpha males? Can they have a breakthrough at all? Your guess is as good as everybody's

3. White men are deep thinkers They are not after impressing anybody with long talks or grammar jargons, they are after knowledge and more knowledge. They know thats the only way to rule the world. They dont entertain washy-hushy shallow thoughts but go into details, thorough study and real life experiences. White men are deep!

4. They love themselves more For every one white traitor we have a million black traitors. Black men are their worst enemies. Dont blame this on colonisation/slavery because without your black traitors white men would have failed in their quest. Who knows! They may disagree amongst themselves but they would stand in for themselves anywhere.

They see beauty in their race and sell the best. They understand lifelong programming and it has worked for them.

They are not quick to pull themselves down.

5. White men sell the worst of black people to the world Its a game and they are smart! Black men are not that bad but white men have made the whole world see them as loosers and unfortunate people.

Everywhere they go, they are respected less. From CNN to Aljazerra to BBC it seems no good thing can come out from black men. What are black men on about this situation? They cry! Black men cry and shut up afterwards cos they know who runs the world!

And they cycle continues. tongue
