Islam for Muslims / Benefits Of Seeking Knowledge In Islam by Hamzik4real: 7:45pm On Nov 14, 2019
Asalam Alaykum Waramotullah Wabarakatu

All Praise belongs to the Uncreated creator, the Lord of the lords, the knower of the day of Judgement.

I beseach for the Peace and Blessings of Allah upon prophet Muhammed (Peace and blessing of Allah Should be on him), his Households, companions and those that are striving for the existence of the deen (Amen)

I Also seek Blessings of Allah on our parents and all our teachers.

My dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, i should not be here tonight to give lecture but as Allah want it, i'm here to discuss the benefits of Seeking knowledge in Islam.

i would like to break the topic into sub-topics for better understanding

1. The term Knowlege
2. Islam Sayings on Knowledge
3. Benefits of Seeking of Knowledge

My dear beloved Brothers and Sisters in Islam, lets embark on the journey, May Allah forgive the lecturer and readers on anyway we might transpass (Amen)

Knowledge

According to English Dictionary, version 9 says Knowledge is the fact of knowing about something: general understanding or familiaririty with something. It said further that it is the intellectual understanding.

Islam Saying on knowledge

Islam is a religion of knowledge, we must have knowledge about what is permissible and impermissible in daily life. A person must also learn how to purify their hearts and deeds from guilty traits. Muslims must know how to purify their hearts from the love of wealth, status, and fame, and how to make one’s love for Allah alone. They must also learn the soaring manners taught to us by the religion Islam, and try to live our lives according to Prophet.

There are many evildence and virtues of seeking, acquiring and spreading the knowledge of the deen, that can be found in the Quran and hadith of Allah’s last messenger.

The first aayah of the Qur’aan to be revealed enjoined reading which is the key to knowledge. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Read! In the Name of your Lord Who has created (all that exists).

He has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood).

Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous.
Who has taught (the writing) by the pen.
He has taught man that which he knew not”
Al-‘Alaq 96:1-5

In Islam, knowledge comes before action; there can be no action without knowledge, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“So know (O Muhammad) that Laa ilaaha ill-Allâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh), and ask forgiveness for your sin, and also for (the sin of) believing men and believing women” Muhammad 47:19

Allaah warns every Muslim against speaking without knowledge, as He says (interpretation of the meaning): “And follow not (O man, i.e., say not, or do not, or witness not) that of which you have no knowledge. Verily, the hearing, and the sight, and the heart of each of those ones will be questioned (by Allâh)” al-Israa’ 17:36

Emphasizing the status of knowledge and the scholars, Allaah calls upon the scholars to bear witness to His Oneness, as He says (interpretation of the meaning): “Allâh bears witness that Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and the angels, and those having knowledge (also give this witness); (He always) maintains His creation in justice. Laa ilaaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the All‑Mighty, the All-Wise” Aal ‘Imraan 3:18

Knowledge and fear of Allaah may be attained by knowing His signs and creation. The knowledgeable are those who know that, hence Allaah praises them by saying (interpretation of the meaning): “It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allâh” Faatir 35:28

The scholars occupy a noble status in Islam, and which is higher than the position of others in this world and in the Hereafter. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaniho:“Allâh will exalt in degree those of you who believe, and these who have been granted knowledge” -Mujaadilah 58:11

Because of the importance of knowledge, Allaah commanded His Messenger to seek more of it. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“and say: ‘My Lord! Increase me in knowledge’” Ta-Ha 20:114

Allaah praises the scholars, as He says (interpretation of the meaning): “Say: ‘Are those who know equal to those who know not?’ It is only men of understanding who will remember (i.e. get a lesson from Allâh’s Signs and Verses)” Zumar 39:9

Those who have knowledge are the quickest of people to understand the truth and believe in it:“And that those who have been given knowledge may know that it (this Qur’aan) is the truth from your Lord, so that they may believe therein, and their hearts may submit to it with humility” Hajj 22:54

Now, let's check the Hadith of the prophet on Knowledge

Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet as saying:
If anyone pursues a path in search of knowledge, Allah will then by make easy for him a path to paradise; and he who is made slow by his actions will not be speed by his genealogy.

Abu Hurairah also reported that the Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him.”

It was narrated that Abu Umamah said:
“The Messenger of Allah said: ‘You must acquire this knowledge before it is taken away, and its taking away means that it will be lifted up.’ He joined his middle finger and the one that next to the thumb like this, and said: ‘The scholar and the seeker of knowledge will share the reward, and there is no good in the rest of the people.’

It waas narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah said:
“Seeking knowledge is a duty upon every Muslim, and he who passes knowledge to those who do not deserve it, is like one who puts a necklace of jewels, pearls and gold around the neck of swines.”

With all these saying from the Quran and Hadith, it shows that It compulsory for one to seek Knowledge in Islam.

3. importance of Seeking Knowledge

Islam gives too much importance on seeking knowledge. Knowledge is a key to success. Seeking knowledge is better than any value in the world.

Teaching others is one of the good deeds from which we will earn great rewards even after death. Whoever leaves behind beneficial knowledge will get rewards as long as people are still getting benefits from his knowledge.

Seeking for knowledge makes learning easy for us to the path to Paradise.

There are so many importance of knowledge but we will stop here.

Romance / Who Is That Very Interesting Guy Or Lady That Is Showing You Love? by Hamzik4real: 5:43pm On Oct 03, 2019
EPISODE ONE

Everyone wants a happy ending, everyone wants a perfect partner (a prince charming or lady royal),
everyone wants a financially secured partner, everyone wants someone that will bring a drastic
change to their life as well as adding value and meaning to their life, everyone wants someone who
looks like a Greek God, everyone wants someone who has a professional job, everyone wants
someone who is very mature and highly intelligent etc. Well, it’s not bad to wish for something good
but sometimes we have to be realistic with what we wish for. Some people are so drastic that they
vow to wait for that perfect choice. Okay, let’s not get too tensed here.

The first thing you should put
in mind is that, 50% of all those aforementioned characteristics can be found in just 0.05% of the
world’s population so, only very few people gets lucky to be with such people. So, now decide; do you
want to be single for the rest of your life or you want a happy and healthy relationship that will
eventually lead to marriage. Your dream life might be just a breath away but only needs your
attention to actually be what you dream of.

Okay, let’s quickly deal with the second want; want of a perfect partner. “There is a possibility that
your prince charming or lady royal is right there, possibly waiting for your attention.

Maybe,
your presence alone could change the person’s fashion sense or youngest could simply work on his
or her fashion taste yourself”. I was listening to one of my married friends, I mean older friend just
few weeks ago, and she said to me “I never really fell in love with Andrew at first sight”.

Well, this
statement baffled me because Andrew is a really attractive guy with very good fashion sense but
then, she told me that what I see now is a manifestation of her work. She said, she found Andrew to
be a guy with an interesting personality but a disastrous fashion taste when she first met him.

So, she
knew that all she had to do to make Andrew her kind of man was to work on his wardroom and now,
she finds her husband continually attractive. This short story should tell you that, appearance is not
the paramount thing to consider in a partner.

The guy or lady might be more than the way he (she)
looks and might even have a lot of potentials in him (her). You know, there are many guys and ladies
out there who are well dressed but have no ability to respect or handle the great responsibilities that
comes with marriage.

So, why base your criterion on appearance? Who is that very interesting guy or
lady that is showing you love and attention, why don’t give him a trial and then work on improving his
fashion taste. Let’s see if you would not fall in love over and over again with him or her.

Now, moving to the third want; want of a financially secured partner. Okay before I go on with
explaining that part, I want you to ask yourself these few questions, what is your personal financial
status? Are you someone that is dependent on getting financial backup from someone? Then
you should know that nobody wants to marry a financial disaster and human monger.

So, before you
expect a financially buoyant person, you definitely need to work on your financial status! So, for a
change why don’t you work on being financially stable? Have you ever thought of what happens if
your husband gets tired of you and then divorced you, thereby striping you of all the financial benefit
you enjoy from him, where would you start from? From the scratch? Well, you better think twice

before you make such decision. A man is supposed to be favored to have a woman and a woman is
supposed to be blessed to have a man.

You shouldn’t be so unconcerned about your financial
stability, with the mindset of a man coming to rescue you from your numerous financial debts and
bringing you to a good societal class or a woman transferring ownership of property documents to
you.

What happens if you don’t get a financially buoyant person? So, you’re saying that you are not
going to get married and that you would remain a spinster for the rest of your life.

Seriously! You have
to wake up from your slumber!
Get a skill or an education, then start working on your life, save up for rainy days because time waits
for no one.

I know that many people complain that their income is too small for them to save from,
but I tell you, if you can’t save from the little income you’re getting now then you would never be able
to save even if you’re earning a million every month. Start saving up no matter how little, then plan
and strategize.

Think of what you would like to put in place. If you wish it, you can get it, all you have
to do is work hard towards it. Work on getting a property like a land or a house, then when you get
married and move in with your husband you are can place your house on rent thereby boosting your
yearly income.

Look, you can be an independent human no matter how hard it may seem. So, I guess
by now you already have your thinking cap on and have started thinking. Alright, thanks for reading
this. I’ll be posting the next episode next week so, stay connected.

Politics / Lagos State Students To Shut Down City On October 7 by Hamzik4real: 11:40am On Oct 01, 2019
Fellow Nulassites, we the members of the 2019 Governing Body, after numerous attempts to ensure that the Lagos State Government disburse the 2017/2018 Scholarship and Bursary funds to beneficiaries and commence the necessary process for the 2018/2019 exercise, have decided to embark on a mass action to press home our demands.

We have come to realise that the only language understood by the government is our confrontation which we have tried so hard to avoid.

We have realised the futile yielding of the second C of the Aluta Mantra, Consultation, so we therefore on this note make the move to adopt the third C, Confrontation, as our last resort and we will keep at it till our demands are met.

Fellow Nulassites, this sole action by the state government has proved that its indigenous students are not worth anything to them and this has also cost many beneficiaries additional years in school as a result of not meeting up with their institution's financial demands. But then we remember that the present leaders of the State were once beneficiaries of this same scheme. So we ask why blow up a bridge after crossing it?

Samora Machel the formidable freedom fighter, whose choice of hymn was 'A luta Continua' did not stop by chanting the mantra but stating the reason 'the struggle should continue'. On this note we stand firm and unshakeable to say in unison that:

A Luta Continua against our delayed privileges,
A Luta Continua against School drop out,
A Luta Continua against Extra year,
A Luta Continua against the hater of youth development.

The Lagos State Government is hereby beseeched to grant our demands and requests before the *7th of October, 2019.* While every Nulassites, the chapter presidents and other Executive members be prepared to storm the street of Lagos on a *MASSIVE PROTEST for our Rights*

*Further information on the modalities of the mass action will be forwarded as soon as its concluded.*

*A LUTA CONTINUA*
*VICTORIA ASCERTA*

*Signed:*
*Com. Bisola Okoya*
*The National President*

*Signed:*
*Com. Waliu Adeyeri*
*The National General Secretary*
