Politics / Osun Commissioner For Education Hon. Bamisayemi’s LIES On LAUTECH. by hardextheprince(m): 3:12pm On Apr 20, 2021
Bamisayemi’s LIES On LAUTECH

I read with dismay a comment of the Commissioner of Education in the State of Osun, Mr. Folorunso Bamisayemi, where he said on a Facebook post that “If Osun hadn’t accepted severance of joint ownership, Osun State would have been kicked out empty-handed through the court for failure to meet her obligations. Between 2014 and 2018 Osun defaulted in her obligations to LAUTECH to the tune of 8.2 billion naira and that was the time when our own civil servants were paid modulated salaries.”

He went further to say, “OSUN’s commitment to LAUTECH was 400 million per month for half of a year totalling 2.4 billion naira every year. Considering the humongous debt left by the previous administration, where do you think this state will get the resources to meet her obligations to LAUTECH.”
With all modesty, Mr Bamisayem has just told a lie in defence of the ill advice he gave to Governor Oyetola on LAUTECH while the governor is also running from responsibility as stated by the LAUTECH workers. One had been tempted to conclude that there was sinister move on the part of the Osun State Government for the severance of the LAUTECH joint ownership. The active actors in the negotiation of the ‘LAUTECH business’ actually got ‘something’ for themselves which was their ultimate expectation and desired gains at the expense of the millions of Osun indigenes.

To address Bamisayemi’s uninformed comment laced with ‘pull him down syndrome’, I will like to state that for over 29 years of the joint ownership existence of LAUTECH, Osun Government, the Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola administration in particular, had been living up to its expectations and performing its responsibilities as equal partner in the LAUTECH ownership, notwithstanding the obvious cheating from the Oyo State Government.
To be precise, since Bamisayemi wanted to paint the Aregbesola’s administration black as he has been doing, I will like to roll out the following fact, while I challenge the commissioner to controvert. In 2017, Osun committed a sum of N1, 250, 000, 000 to LAUTECH. In 2018, Osun paid N500, 000, 000 to LAUTECH. Between July 2010 and July 2016, Osun paid a total sum of N8, 692, 488, 234.04. In 2019, from June, Osun paid the LAUTECH workers salary till the end of the year.

When owner states were asked to pay N500m each for take-off after the visitation panel, Osun duly paid its own, while Oyo defaulted.
Mr. Bamisayemi should come and explain how Osun was indebted to LAUTECH to the tune of N8.2billion as he falsely stated. Since he has also chosen the path of disparaging the immediate past administration and making case for Oyo government, Bamisayemi should come and tell us what Oyo has contributed to LAUTECH between 2010 and 2019.

The commissioner should also explain the rationale behind the acceptance of N8bn compensation to Osun by Oyo Government when the LAUTECH asset was valued above N100billion naira. The secrecy of the terms and condition of the severance of the joint ownership tells the story all. If the LAUTECH deal was clean, why can’t the State Government come to the public with the MOU on the dissolution?

Bamisayemi and his co-travellers in the journey of perdition should desist from (directly or indirectly) casting aspersion on the person of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to clothe their ‘akotileta’ paymaster in a garment of disputable integrity and respect which he cannot have.
What happened on LAUTECH is just a clear case of political naivety, inexperienced leadership, ineptitude and desperation for cheap popularity.

My Angel is 60

by Rauf Aregbesola

My sojourn in Kaduna in the 1980s, first for my youth service and later for a paid employment, will remain ever memorable. This is because it was there that I found the love of my life, Iyaafin Sherifat Abidemi Aregbesola.

I was a dashing young man with long hair and ideological fire burning in my soul. I had been caught in the throes of the ideological fervour of the time. I left The Polytechnic Ibadan fired with idealism and was prepared to change the world.

People of my generation actually were fiercely nationalistic. They wanted the best for the country and at the same time were globalist. Our vision was not just for Nigeria; we wanted a world devoid of injustice, inequality, poverty, diseases and other afflictions of humanity. Kaduna too was a hotbed of activism and provided a natural habitat for me. I was therefore too serious to have any social life. All that would soon change.

It started 39 years ago when I daily secretly admired a damsel in front of her residence on Ibrahim Taiwo Road, in Tundun-Wada, Kaduna. Strangely, it appeared this fine young lady was always there whenever I passed by on my way to my own residence in Dustima Road, Tundun-Wada, in the same Kaduna.

Then, the courage to get down from the commuter bus failed me most of the time to engage her. Towards the end of the service year I eventually mustered the will to so do. However, I left the state soon after.

Providence smiled on me when the defunct Nigeria External Telecommunications (NET) Ltd, offered me employment same year and deployed me to Kaduna, to join in the construction, commissioning and operation of the second satellite telecommunication gateway, in Kujama, Kaduna.

On my return to Kaduna, I did not waste any time in re-engaging with the young beautiful lady that had greatly attracted my admiration and interest. The rest they say is history.

We married in 1983, and the union is marvellously blessed with good children and a paradise of a home. I cannot have a better life partner. My wife is my companion, adviser, guide, protector, teacher, lover and manager. She is a resourceful mother to the children and a worthy matriarch of the family.

Over the years I can say without equivocation that it was an angel that came my way in 1981, who I tied the nuptials with in 1983. Her love for me is total and unquenchable. She was tailor-made for me. I believe the feeling is mutual. By the grace of God, she has been a worthy companion and assistant in my journey of life. She has filled me with laughter and joy and she is worth more than the entire world to me.

I am grateful to Allah SWT for His mercy on the union and my darling wife for her huge sacrifice to manage me over the years. My heart is filled with praise to the Most High for the blessing of an angel He brought my way.

As she celebrates her diamond jubilee with our country, Nigeria, I wish her more grace, good health, long and fulfilled life as I equally wish Nigeria peace, progress and success in the process of nation building.

Sixty is a remarkable landmark. She has matured in every way and mastered the art of being a good wife and mother. But she is still as beautiful and appealing to me as she was 39 years ago.

Darling, happy birthday and many happy returns.

Royal Majesties present. Eminent Participants, Ladies and Gentlemen.

I feel highly honoured to have been invited to open the ground of today's memorable occasion. I would first like to appreciate the body that invited me on this remarkable celebration of the decadal existence of HRM Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Abidemi Olanipekun Laroove II on the seat of our fathers, and to congratulate the entire natives of Osogbo both home and abroad on this jovous event. I am sure, without a doubt, that our inviters are friending the friendly nature of this God chosen city.

Today, as beseeched by the organizers that I present this talk. Kings here present, honoured chiefs or seats and eminent communal merchants which are the wings upon which a community flies, the pillars that stationed and edifice of a community, the mouthpiece that speaks the voice of the region and the bridge between God and the governed. I greet you reverently. "Respect your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over souls

as those who will give an account"

Hebrew 15:17. Eyin loba loba ati otokunnunlu mokiyin o. Ki emin ola oogun o.

The architectural design of life by the Supreme Being is based on the duo of the throne and the palace. In many places of the Holy Quran, God attributes Kingship to himself. A close intervention on these verses would explain to one that palace with its duo, throne, is an important tool in the growth making, even in the palace of God.
communication and roles designation are between God, Angels, Jinn, and Prophets are sufficient to come to accede to the perfection and growth of the world and everything in it. Human inclusive! The dialogue in Quran as to His wish to create humans who will hold the sovereignty is a clear explanation of the palace The messages of Jesus and his disciples are as well points of reference on the importance of the palace; Muhammad as well as his companions is another beautiful model in the palace. The onus of these analogies above is to register that from time immemorial, the kingdom was a divine system of governance and its compromissory acceptance is an answer to socio economic and political growth in the society, particularly in the African instance, Similarly, the Renaissance period in the Europe which occurred between 14th century and 17th century with the installment of King Jacobean produced enviable growth in Classical Art. Architecture, Literature and intellectuals in the Europe; all which if summed together are to the current development in the European states. The believe that traditional rulers are mere figures is an ancient maxim which cannot be completely defined. traccable to the colonial era. The independent Nigeria has now placed many evolving roles to monarchs, which place a very high competition for royal scats.
Presently, palace has been functional to modern politicians in the aspects of economic policies, security, culture and customs and the general wellbeing of the citizens, owing to long experience in rulership and governance. This experience relay has a fluent impact on socio economic growth.
In the real sense of socio economic growth whose meanings envelope the influence of societal growth on the economy and the economic evaluation of a society, the palace symbol cannot be overemphasized.
In achieving a community or a society where her economy will wax stronger and its sociological embodiments would be a point of positive allusions, one of the angles of its triangular sketch which are democratic leaders, religions leaders, and the palace roles must not be denied; reason being that the three are a very germane pillars in erecting an economical balanced society.
Conversely, it is piteous that some democratic leaders and economic managers are drawing lanes and lines between them and the palace. Such occurrence is putting her future in a furnace which will produce no whine We will all remember when colonial masters intervene into the ARran community. the strategic way through which your fathers were colonized was to empower the royals. Through this, indirect rule" came into birth Democracy has taken an operational trend with the support of palaces in Nigeria. This is to lend credence to the fact that the palace and throne are tolls in the establishment of a serene democracy and buoyant economy. In my attempt to regionalize this speech, I have confined my address with a scoresheet of Kabiesi's decennium celebration, and how this honourable palace has served as a pivotal point to a sustainable socio-economic and political growth in Osogbo. This, I have done to distinct this paper from ordinary paper research that cannot be displayed in an exhibition of realities. The involvement of palace has produced one of the best senators in the S/W who was the former chair of the Senate House Committee on Diaspora and presently the spokesman for the Nigerian Senate whose discharge to his constituents remains outstanding. The palace just produced a weighty figure in the Federation, against all odds, Resident Electoral Commissioner first of its kind. The emergence of the former Deputy Governor was as a result of the great influence of the palace. The increase in the numbers of Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Osogbo was as a result of the concerted efforts of the palace. The palace ensured that the permanent secretaries numbers from Osogbo was upsurged.
The first flyover bridge that serves as a nexus in the city of Osogbo was done during the reign of Kabiesi. Achieving this height is a talk of the palace intervention. This said bridge has broken the barrier of economic progression between Osogbo and sisters' town. Thus, there is a recent registration of boom economy as a result of this project. The Ataoja's palace has, in fact, been a pivotal point in not sustaining only socio-economic growth alone, but has also engineered judicial footprints as Kabiesi has magnanimously given out free parcels of land for the erection of Federal Court of Appeal, Federal Magistrate Courts, Nigeria Teachers Institute, Teachers village a project embark upon by the Federal Government, and the Service. The palace has strengthened both socio economic and ical growth by producing a university registrar and gifting out 257 hectares nd for the construction of UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital freely all these in my attendance.
The palace in notable for her influence in promoting economic growth in Osogbo as many companies have been established, small businesses firms, and some still coming courtesy the influence of Ataoja.
This palace has also been impactful by providing social security relief to the citizens of our dear Osogbo land in the areas of palliative distribution, adoption and sponsorship of less privilege children, sponsoring of an Osogbo son to Soviet Union for Masters degree, palace chiefs get salaries promptly: by means of relieving the palace workers of their strenuous duties, there is a super employment of palace workers.
The ascension of Ataoja has broken the rivalry of land disputes in the town and one beautiful. virtue of emulation is that he does not take sides; he gives righteous justification; the Asojuoba and Afobaje are duly taken care of. With this argument, I think we will all come to agree that the palace is an obvious pivotal point in economical, social, and political growth.
At this juncture, I think it is always important to know when something has reached its end, as ends are not bad things, they just mean that something else is about to begin. And there are many things that do not really end, anyways, they just begin in a new way. Ends are not bad and many ends aren't really an ending some discussions like this are never ending.

Thank you for your time.

*OSUN DEBT:* *THE LEFT OVER AND THE BALANCE*

...R-connect News

The former governor, State of Osun now Interior Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has affirmed that his administration Social Investment Programmes didn't over-burden the state financial strength.

Aregbesola made this known on Saturday while debunking some of the rumours associated with the debt profile of the State during a virtual colloquium organised by a group of individuals in commemoration of the Osun former helmsman 63rd birthday tagged: *Government Unusual:* _**_Innovative Economic Solutions to Unlock Mass Prosperity**_

The Osun former governor said, "there is this (chorus of) debt, debt and debt: a motivated people can never be in debt regardless of the size and I must correct something, we did not use debt to fund any of our social programmes"

The bulk of the debt that was overhanging now is the debt incurred on overdraft of salaries, the loans we took from the capital markets were directed at development - physical and human.

"And I must say, we have liquidated the SEC loan which will called vanilla bond by the end of last year, we are liquidating Sukuk bond 11.4 Billion Naira by the November of this year."

"So, what it means is that in terms of the actual debt we took to fund development, there is no issue at all"

" The issue we have is in the money we had to take from the commercial bank which we had transferred through the instrumentalist of the governors' forum and the other measures that came into helping government by our president to absolve the bond as federal government bond with a long term of nineteen-twenty years which we are now paying"

"By the time we finish paying the Sukuk bond by October-November this year, the State will be relieved and don't forget, if as it is said, we are doing so well in a lot of things, definitely, it will translate into IGR. And that will help"

Aregbesola used the opportunity provided by the colloquium to thank President Muhammadu Buhari, for his encouragement and for motivating him far before he joined his cabinet

"President Muhammadu has been encouraging me, motivating me and pushing me to my best, particularly in the line of concentrating on the mass of people without jeopardising the interest of the minority and that is key"

The interior minister also eulogizes Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who he described as the hero of whatever he did or achieved as Governor of Osun

"I can't forget his contributions to making me a good public administrator, he takes all the glory apart from God and with the people whom I worked with under him, people like the present Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Yemi Kadoso, Dele Alake, Wale Edun and a couple of other brilliant people who did not only make our governance of Lagos successful but rallied around me as the Governor of Osun", he concluded.

Politics / Akeredolu And Other Governors Should However Do The Needful On ÀMÒTÉKÙN. by hardextheprince(m): 8:19pm On Jan 21, 2020
Ilori Respond To AketiI On ÀMÒTÉKÙN

I stand with Aketi on Amotekun.

He and the other Governors should however do the needful.

# A major threat to security in the West is the large army of unemployed graduates -well trained, exposed but un-engaged. They should form the crust of Amotekun - a 21st century regional defence initiative not the less educated OPC or Agbekoya members who are already engaged as private guards. Let’s not shy away from the fact- An effective Amotekun must be modernly armed in this era of Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa armed robbers and kidnappers, “Million Boys, Ọmọ No Salary, Ọmọ Késárì” and other various Yoruba cult/gangster groups, otherwise let’s forget the noise and simply reactivate Boys Scouts across Yorubaland.

# Their salary should be a first line charge on ALL REVENUE of the state, otherwise they will become Boko Haram. The charge should be before JAC, this will ensure that all States and Local Governments in Western Nigeria would contribute to the funding of Amotekun. Our money must also be where our mouth is, the region may in the future, consider a security tax, we must all feed this big carnivorous cat - A hungry Amotekun go chop people o!!!

# The Carrying capacity of each state should be determined by financial experts (not politicians) in view of the financial profile of each state to determine the expected personnel and financial contribution from each state which must be consolidated by law.

# Recruitment, control and command structure must be clearly defined without overlaps. Ethics, disciple and Omoluabi ethos unambiguously stipulated and enforced.

# A nonpartisan Board drawn from DAWN Commission, Head of Service of each State, the Chairman, Council of Oba of each state (because Yoruba sociology still defer to Obas on security matters), rotational chairmanship of a Governor at a time etc must immediately be empaneled to oversee policy, recruitment, promotion and discipline. This will reduce political abuse by incumbents against opponents and other repressive tendencies, guarantee job security for personnel and secured tenure for Commandants. An unregulated Amotekun is a wild devouring monster!!!

# Ahead of passing the above into law, the various Assemblies must give room for open public hearing where various shades of opinions would be listened to. Other tribes should be welcomed to such hearing. Let them express their concerns and let the Assembly assuage such. Amotekun is for the protection of all law abiding residents (not only Yorubas live in Western Nigeria), the vast majority of the Yorubas are not keen on seceding from a PEACEFUL Nigeria, neither are we interested in tormenting law abiding Fulani or Igbos, we simply wish to be safe in our land and celebrate our owambe in peace. I doubt if anybody or any law can be against that.

# The Governors must get the various State Assemblies to consider all above and pass the requisite supporting laws.

# At not too distant a time DAWN Commission should also facilitate a legally bidding protocol that will make it difficult for states to pull out at will. Otherwise the beloved Amotekun will die a premature death.

# After all-done, necessary returns should be made to the National Assembly, all security agencies, relevant MDAs, donor agencies and transmit through the Vice President (our own son and an authority in law) to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for information and necessary support. There is no reason why the President should not draft in Army and police to support in training and joint patrols as you have with OP MESSA and Civilian JTF. In Osun, the police have severally had joint operations with OYES Sheriffs and NDLEA against cannabis cultivation and such sundry matters without issues.

# For now, Amotekun remain a nice concept awaiting operational activation. With the above sorted, AMOTEKUN WILL ROAR and whoever or whichever tribe or official has a problem with it can go to court!!!

We should move beyond whether Amotekun is desirable or not, the huge majority of the Yoruba people and leaders are clearly for Amotekun. We will also do well by not dividing ourselves unnecessarily on this, whoever has not come out to be against us is surely for us.

So our dear Governors, let's move beyond emotions and get real! Yoruba is a thinking race not a shouting race.

Ariwo kọ́ ni Music!!!

Politics / “jimi Agbaje Is A Cancer In Lagos PDP.- Chief Layi Ogunbambi by hardextheprince(m): 9:56am On Mar 16, 2019
The crisis in the Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over fallout of the last general elections got messy on Wednesday with one of the major gladiators revealing sordid details of how campaign funds from Abuja were allegedly cornered by the governorship candidate of the party, Mr Jimi Agbaje.

Reacting to allegations of sabotage leveled against him by Agbaje during a postmortem meeting on outcome of the elections, Director General of Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council in Lagos State, Chief Layi Ogunbambi said it was unfortunate that the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the state could degenerate to such lowest ebb of fabricating vicious lies just to cover up his inadequacies and greed.

Ogunbambi said right from when he was appointed as DG of Atiku campaign council, Agbaje refused to work with him, despite spirited efforts to diplomatically make him (Agbaje) change his mind and see the reason for all of them to work together.

“Let me quickly seize this opportunity to thank our leader, Chief Bode George, immensely for the confidence reposed in me all the time since l became a member of Lagos State PDP. l was duly sworn in as DG of Atiku campaign council at the Party Secretariat in lkeja and curiously Jimi Agbaje never called me to discuss with me the operations and work schedule of my office.

“There was no template for harmonization of his group with the legitimate organ and structure at the party office in lkeja. With his rigid application of dogma, it was patently obvious that he was not going to work with me and the party on 2019 general elections.

“ln fact, he made it clear to many and even went on social media to put on record that he was not going to have anything to do with me as the DG. l spoke with him several times on the phone in my attempt to diplomatically bring some focus and sanity to his ego without any success,” Ogunbambi alleged.

The DG said the calls were made in the presence of many party bigwigs, while he went further to talk to Agbaje’s close friend in an attempt to make him see the need for unity in the larger interest of the party, all to no avail.

“The Chairman of the Party, the former Chairman of the Party, Rtd Navy Captain Shelle and Taofeek Gani were all there at each occasion these calls were made to Jimi. l also engaged his friend (Osibodu) for several hours on the phone to get him to get Jimi to see reason in the larger interest of the party, but that, in Osibodu’s own innocent naivety, was more interested in the so-called integrity mantra of Jimi than the larger issue of party cohesion, integration and harmony, hence, and again, all the discussions with Osibodu never amounted to anything significant in the directional way foreword for the party.

“The stagnation remained substantially the same to date. Jimi was emphatic when he said publicly that Leke was his DG because he needed somebody he could control just like he wanted to control the entire party with his inner core group that have done more to disfranchise the Party in Lagos State for years now,” Ogunbambi said.

While questioning the basis for Agbaje’s allegations that he wanted to sabotage his political efforts, Ogunbambi said the PDP gubernatorial candidate had again exposed his character to the glare of public scrutiny, alleging that all his (Agbaje’s) interest was the campaign funds from Abuja.

“Listening again to his (Agbaje’s) own version of the money brought from Abuja and the version of the Chairman of the Party, l ask you all: who was telling the truth yesterday? You can lie and deceive the people some of the time but you cannot deceive them all of the time.

“Jimi is a cancer in Lagos PDP. A proclamation of no confidence and integrity in him is the most viable option left to the Party and l urge you all to consider it with the seriousness that it deserves!

“My issue with Jimi is not about Ceaser and Brutus. lt is about a man l supported with my time and money in 2015 and 2019, and later discovered that he was nothing but a serial politician coming every four years to use our Lagos PDP platform to amass enormous wealth for himself.

The DG also alleged that most of the businessmen who initially bought into the vision of Agbaje and supporting his campaign had since left him having discovered the truth about his character.

However, efforts by PM News to speak with Agbaje proved abortive as calls made to his phone were not picked.

Also, calls made to the phone of his Campaign Director General, Felix Oboagwina were also not picked, likewise calls made to the phone of the Lagos PDP Publicity Secretary, Taofik Gani were not picked.

BOLA OYEBAMIJI SPEAKS!

Osun 2018 Gubernatorial Election: My Decision

Dear Compatriots,

I consider it very imperative to address you my associates, friends and members of our great party; All Progressives Congress (APC) as touching issues surrounding my involvement in the 2018 gubernatorial race on the platform of our great party.

To the keen watchers of unfolding political events, this will be my first official public statement since the leaders of my town including traditional institutions, political associates, friends and those individuals who believe in my capacity to run effectively for the exalted seat of the Governor of our dear state made an unprecedented efforts in the history of Nigeria's polity by raising over One Million Naira (#1,000,000.00) among themselves without my knowledge and proceeded to obtain an intention form at our party secretariat in Osogbo.

As a human being, when I heard about their action and the extent they had gone by paying the required fee to the leadership of our party in the state, I was caught between happiness and sadness. I was sad because I have committed myself to a worthy course of same magnitude; a course I completely believe in regardless of political, social or religious colouration. Not only that, I am also one of the front allies of that course and structure which is geared towards actualizing the Osun of our dreams. At first, I knew that the script of betrayal will be perfectly perceived and acted once I decided to yield to the call of my friends and supporters who felt I should compete for the highest political seat in the state.

On the other hand I was happy and felt fulfilled as a person that there were tons of people out there who not only dare all odds but also sacrifice their comfort and resources for me without expecting any corresponding benefits. For days, I was weighing my options; I consulted my creator, immediate family and those whose opinions matter in my political, social and religious life and concluded that there comes a time in the life of every man to fall for something or nothing; on this occasion; I willingly chose to fall for loyalty, trust, integrity and sound reasoning.

Dear friends and supporters, ever since the news of my purported aspiration broke, I have been very careful and mindful of my approaches to political issues and gathering so as not to heighten the already charged political environment within our party. Despite my silence and non-involvement in any political activities in the face of humongous pressure from every corner, thousands of people including young and old from the three senatorial districts of our state volunteered themselves as canvasers and mobilizers to woo party loyalists and general public to support my supposed candidature. This reality quite negates the image people erroneously attached to our youths that money determines their loyalty in politics. I therefore considered it a matter of pride and privilege to receive the support of various political, social, professional and religious leaders both home and abroad.

However, I have considered all factors surrounding the competition for the ticket of our great party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election and decided to isolate myself from the contest against the growing agitation for my involvement but rather remain committed to a course I considered worthy for the collective good of our dear state. This decision is coming on the premise of my desire to see a united APC in Osun after July 19th Primary election and a stronger and cohesive party at the September 22 governorship election.

In view of this, I deeply regret any inconvenience my decision might bring to every individual or groups who out of their own volition decided to promote my name and what I represent without any prompt; I am extremely grateful and feel honoured for the social capital and premium you all invested in me.
In the meantime, I have decided to rally support for my party the APC to ensure the defense of its current position as the ruling party in Osun in order to sustain the current developmental strides of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. This is what we must all do in good faith in order to consolidate the unprecedented achievements of the outgoing government bearing in mind that God gives power to whom He pleases and above all, the WILL of Almighty Allah must be fulfilled.

Thank you and God bless.

Signed:

Bola Oyebamiji
Hon. Commissioner for Finance, State of Osun

The downfall of the attempts of governments and leaders to unite mankind is found in this- in the wrong message that we should see everyone as the same.
This is the root of the failure of harmony. Because the truth is, we should not all see everyone as the same! We are not the same! We are made of different colours and we have different cultures.
We are all different! But the key to this door is to look at these differences, respect these differences, learn from and about these differences, and grow in and with these differences. We are all different. We are not the same. But that's beautiful.
And that's okay.In the quest for unity and peace, we cannot blind ourselves and expect to be all the same. Because in this, we all have an underlying belief that everyone should be the same as us at some point.
We are not on a journey to become the same or to be the same. But we are on a journey to see that in all of our differences, that is what makes us beautiful as a human race, and if we are ever to grow, we ought to learn and always learn some more.
