Romance / Re: I Slapped Her For The First Time. Is This My Fault? by Heavance(m): 1:51pm On Jul 02, 2020 |
Deduks: Please help Me, I need how to settle this with my fiancee. I can't seem to forgive myself for laying my hands on her as this is my first time of ever hiting a girl in my life. We've been on logger head of who is at fault and who will be the first to appologise but I felt betrayed and embarassed by her cos I love her so much. We've been dating for over 7months and I've made my intentions open to her about settling down with her and she accepted. Things took another turn in our relationship since last week of June. I'm a sales person in one of the companies in lagos and I have a client (a lady) I've pursuing to market my product to but have not been able to get an appointment with her. It happens that last week I called her (my client) and she told me she didn't go to work that day but if I want to see her it will be outside her office by 5pm. I obliged, and she sent me the address of the place where I will meet with her which is at a bar in one of the hotels on the island which happens to be near to where I reside. The thing now is that I called my fiancee to notify her of my appointment with the said lady since its in the evening which means I will be coming back home late but her number did not go through may be due to network but I sent her a text which I know must deliver. To cut the long story short, during the meeting with the lady at the hotel, to my authmost shock or will I call it coincidence I saw my fiancee at the other end of the bar with a guy. I couldn't believe my eyes so I had to call her phone and she picked and I told her to turn around from where she's seated which she did. I didn't even believe what happened next as she stood up and rushed me at my table and started harassing and embarrassing me that I came to a hotel with a lady that I'm cheating on her. I was so astoned as I stood up and grabbed her to calm her down. I asked her what she was doing there with a man but she wasn't even listening to me. I told her I called her but her number didn't connect and I sent her a text but obviously she didn't see the text cos her phone must have been on silent cos she has been with a guy. She kept on acting crazy there and I had to slap her very hard cos she was acting creazily and embarrassing me and my client and also not answering my question of what she was doing there. While this was hapening, my client just left me and walked away which I don't blame her. I had to bolt out immediately too cos I couldn't stand the heart break and embarrassment. The next day I received an sms from my fiancee still accusing me and saying that the man is her cousin who came to the house that day but they decided to go out to relax. I later found out that the guy was her cousin who I'm yet to meet but the point now, is how could she act creazily like that the other day embarrassing me and my client and accusing me too. We've not spoken for like 4days now looking for who will be the first person to appologise. the thing is I love this girl and wouldn't want to loose her. But I didn't do anything bad to appologise cos I sent her a text to intimate her of my where about but she didn't tell me where she was going to. Should I be the one to appologise to cos I was really embarrased that day or should I wait for her to do so cos she's at fault her from my own judgment. Kindly advice me cos I've been loosing my mind since. A man who apologise when he is wrong is honest. A man who apologise when he is not sure of being wrong/right is wise. A man who apologise when he is right is married. 1 Like |

No amount of religion can make you succesful without application of common sense. No amount of religion can make your marriage succesful without application of common sense and consideration for your partner. No amount of religion can a nation grow and prosper without application of common sense, productivity and good policies.

How and why should they keep what they do to themselves please? It is never a crime to "make noise" about what you do or your company. That is called : ADVERTISEMENT . Coca-cola "make noise' every time also, so do Pepsi, and other Big corporations, but they have been around forever!
It is sad that things do not work out for them. We need a reliable indigenous cable TV in our darling country.
But with all these thieves, called politicians having a sizeable shares in all the South African firms since 1999 till now, make it happen?! Question of the day!
This is a 100% wholly owned Nigeria Pay TV company. When are we going to start patronizing our own?
Another Question of the day!
Sad reality! There is a difference between making noise before delivering, and making noise and delivering. They promised what they couldn't deliver, release date kept moving forward. Or did Nigerians not patronise HITV? Who compensated the HITV subscribers for buying a decoders and paying for installation that was useful for less than 3years? Many people in the commercial city don't even know anything about TSTV right now. How can you be threatening a juggernaut (Dstv) with snatching their customers and you think they will sit to do nothing. Do you have an idea of what they did to bury the dreams of HITV? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Goalnaldo: First of all, happy new month to us all. Yesterday, I was chatting with a girl on Facebook, I asked about her hobbies and she mentioned twerking as one of them, I wasn't surprised because a lot of girls are cashing out on twerking on social media. what surprised me though was her inability to convert days to years and she claimed to have graduated from federal college of education. She asked me about my age and I told her in days but she couldn't decipher it. I even gave her the clue by telling her to divide the number by 365 still she couldn't get it. Why can't she use her phone calculator to figure it out? She told me that I should just tell her if I want to. I told her eventually but couldn't help but come to the conclusion that a lot of Nigerian girls are really dull or should I say lazy. When your eventual boss ask you your age in an interview, please repeat the same stupidity and create a thread on how Nigerian bosses are ________. Ama duro de eh, the nairaland governors will not take this, as we are the constituted authority. |

dkdmy: The question to ask here is Who’s responsible for building factories, hospitals and other infrastructure?
Isn’t it the government? Catholic Church and other churches have build hospitals across the country. Private individuals have build hospitals, factories and so on
But the greedy people in government are the ones killing them! The money a senator earns in a year will build good hospitals, roads and other meaningful projects
In fact the churches and other private individuals have done far more than the government in improving the welfare of people
Now, how many Catholic churches can you count in a major road? Or how many Anglican, Methodist or Baptist can you count on a major street or road? These churches are well organised. |
Romance / Re: No Sex Before Marriage Is A Scam by Heavance(m): 8:39am On May 31, 2020 |
BobbyHammar: Anybody who still believe in the scam of no sex till marriage needs to get their head checked. If only you know how many marriages have been destroyed or are still suffering because of this, you will never think of falling for such a scam.
What baffles me is those who keep going to church but yet don't know anything about bible and will keep deceiving themselves that sex before marriage is a sin (WHICH YEYE SIN).
Many will say it's formication but they don't even know the true meaning of fornication as referred to in the bible. Take for example when Joseph was dating Mary, yes we agree she was still a virgin because it was their own decision not to have sex yet but how many people realized that there were other young women that existed then as well. Many had boyfriends too and some had sex with their boyfriends while some didn't because Mary wasn't the only virgin.
The bible never condemned those that had sex with their boyfriends before marriage but it was just the divine choice of the Father to select a virgin rather than a lady that had sex already.
Let's stop all these brohaha low African mentality of calling sex before marriage a sin. God only sees a clean and a pure heart, not who had sex when or how. You all should better respect yourself and save the doctrine of marriage by testing the waters to ensure you are ready to sail on that water for the rest of your life. Not after marriage you start looking for divorce because penis is too big or too small or maybe Virgina is too tight or too wide or its always one minute sex.
Haba. You better stop deceiving your gullible self. Don't allow wisdom, knowledge and understanding start doing social distancing from you o. Do you understand the shame it brought upon parents of non virgins? Being a sensible and wonderful woman is not tied to being a virgin at all, you can marry a virgin and experience hell on earth, and you can marry one who has sexual experience and live heaven on earth. What God designed sex for should remain what it is, come on you know how diseases fly around now and you want sense to run from you? If someone sells a house (knowing people had stayed there earlier) at the price of a brand new constructed and furnished one, will you be happy? |

I feed her I pay money for hair dressing I buy clothes I take her out every weekend I buy shoes I do everything thinkable
She works and earns but I still wonder why she would want me to do everything for her. I compiled my income statement and statement of financial position for the first quarter and found out that expenditures have exceeded income and debt is on the rise.
So I wholeheartedly declared my self insolvent yesterday and decided to cut cost in order to protect my goodwill.

When life finally happens to many of you, e go shock una. Having good grades is great, it opens doors for you, only those prepared for the opportunity end up grabbing it. Having lesser grades is good as well, it makes you easily diversify into other things, and makes you easily convert your passion into money. Having worst grades even makes you quickly find how your life will be meaningful, you end up looking for your career path (money, business, traveling for other opportunities) while others bask on the euphoria of good grades.

Stevecreativex: Me if I remember I use to smile and swear for her with my smile She's grace, fondly called Gracey, I met this werey when I was serving at Abuja 2014, But with the way we met seems like God wanted us together.
She works where I did my PPA, The first day we met I was working on some files and she was kinda asking her colleague who Steve is when she walked up to my desk, she called my name I looked up and she lost it like I could remember we both lost at each other for like 60 seconds before the lady sitting beside me called her name loud( that one don grab watin dey sup)
To cut the past lost story short.. we started talking we exchange contact and weeks later we started dating... Later she came over to the apartment whey I rented, I could tell her reaction she does not like the place (it single room thou )
Months later our relationship became so close that people started noticing in the office, exactly August they paidsalary and to my surprise, as we were going home together she gave me her August salary asked me to add some few bucks to it I should move out of the one-room apartment am staying saying she doesn't want me sharing toilet and bathroom...
Like I was wow. To be very honest that night I was so happy to the extent I had to cut all my spouse contact off and focus on only her... Like that night I vowed not to cheat on her ever...
So I finished my NYSC in Abuja and luckily my PDTF scholarship application was successful I was preparing to move over to Greece for my masters...
I and Gracey parted ways but we still dating, we call each other text each other... Months later I started sending money to grace for our building project, all the money I sent was around £125,500+ (54,233,804.62 nairas)
During this process, grace sends me pictures of the land she brought and how the construction is going on.....
To round up this painful crab only for me to come back home to meet my wife, married with a kid...
I arrested her and all she could say was "she thought I was just joking with her" that she never thought I still love her... Out of 54m, she could only recover 2.5m...
I was hospitalized for two weeks then... I sort I almost died the shock and trauma almost killed me... But thank God later I just have to return to Greece and start all over again... But what she did then is still the reason why am single today...
The truth sef is I insult any Nigerian girls I see in Greece... Nigerian girls in Greece are all lonely so anyone of then that comes across Nigeria guys is always waiting to be loved but I can't stop hating them...
The trauma still lives.. This one strong o |
