ebenholer2: Common sense should tell you that with the scarcity of government resources, and the hierarchy of societal problems, it is rational to prioritise. You can't deploy government resources to chase after comparatively insignificant petty offenses, whereas same resources would be sufficient to tackle bigger, more consequential crimes. No serious country does that. You are attacked by two sets of intruders in your home. One set took your groceries and ran away, while the other set abducted your child and ran away. Is it no common sense to run after the intruders who abducted your child? Does that mean that you're happy with the other set that took your groceries? No, it just means that you don't bother with smaller issues when there are bigger issues to deal with, especially when you have limited capability. I don't know what's wrong with you people. 2 Likes |

Afe11: You're talking in the spirit of Mike Saylor. I'm getting sleepless nights /flashes over the last month just buying into the possibility that bitcoin will be the future of wealth preservation, store of value and monetary exchange. There could be an exponential rise in btc value (maybe even up to $10m per bitcoin) in the next decade. Sounds wildly optimistic, but then. The use cases an potential applications are endless and haven't even started yet. So this could even be an underestimation. 4 Likes 1 Share |

HenryWilliams: The people who really need the advice know this. Who takes these fools seriously? This retarded reno bastard is merely an influencer, paid to spew whatever his paymaster wants. Only a re ta rd with significant dollar holdings would rush to change it to the worthless toilet paper they call Naira because one Bayo Onanuwhatever or reno said so. Maybe only broke freelancers and other entry level pretenders with their few hundred dollars scraping for survival will be confused and rush to exchange their $200 to survive today's hardship. The real 'horders' with real dollar stash are happy because they would gladly mop up cheaper dollars now to add to the lump they are holding. Same as the few wise people who mop up bitcoin. Because the only direction it will go is up. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Putindbutt: How much was his miserable salary in Mobil? I hate it when we are trying to trace the wealth of a billionaire and some stupid fool is asking where he "worked". It is disgusting because we know that these stupid salaries will never explain nothing. I respect someone who hasn't been an employee but emerged from "nowhere" to become rich than a mere salary earner who became rich. Same thing with our civil servants and public officers in Nigeria. Tell us how Tinubu became a dollar billionaire. Which business did he start from his salary savings from Mobil and how did he scale it? I would respect your Tinubu more if he admits his wealth started from drug dealing, than mouthing off this annoying Mobil employment rubbish. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

Only death or a revolution in whatever shape or form will stop the disgusting bat from returning to power in 2027. The greatest mistake ever made was to allow such a character into power. This bastard that bought INEC, the security services, key stakeholders, etc even as outsider, it is stupid to even imagine the possibility of a fair contest now that he is coming into the next contest as the holder of the power. This is not the era of Jonathan who thought himself a 'democrat'. We are dealing with a sinister, shameless, desperate, soulless monster. 3 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: 1 Dollar Will Drop To 20 Naira, If Tinubu Can Do This. by hedonido: 5:55pm On Apr 02 |
If we sell our oil in Naira, how would we earn dollars? Sale of crude oil is the biggest fx earner for the Nigerian government, so you have to redo your analysis. Besides, what is the incentive for any country to want to stress itself to look for Naira to buy Nigeria's oil? Is Nigeria the only producer of oil or does Nigeria's oil have any competitive advantage over the oil of, say, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Libya, or other oil producers? The only sensible and pragmatic solution, as far as the oil industry is the focus, is to refine locally. Pure and simple. The demand for dollars would reduce to a reasonable extent if we're not using dollars to import refined petroleum products. 1 Like |

Even as we speak, your Tinubu apologists and 'Lagos boys' who are in charge of the National treasury now are recklessly and arrogantly pillaging everything and redefining monumental corruption. From the useless Thief of Staff Gbaja-whatever to the lowest of them, prancing around Abuja, spending government money like drunken sailors and feeling like Arab princes. How many of them have been brought in for questioning by the amala infused EFCC? Just another butterfly feeling like a bird. I often wonder what these people are good at. What they are known for. What (else) they bring to the table. Isolated from the comforts of hiding under the broad but disparate umbrella of "South South' strange bedfellows, what would be their unique bloc power? If the crude oyel dries up tomorrow, as it must, what would they bring to their own table? This applies to the Ijaw, Itsekiri, and the other tiny ethnicities around Rivers/Delta State who are quick to point fingers and shalaye because of the small film trick made possible by 'awa oyel'. 1 Like |

Stupid country with stupid leaders, particularly since 2015. Buhari was raiding Supreme Court justices houses, and chasing after Abokifx operators. Now his very obnoxious ronu successor is outdoing him by kidnapping Foreign business executives who honoured invitations to the country for discussions. If the Nigerian government has any issues with Binance as a corporate entity, why not deal with Binance itself following the standard channels/procedures? Countries routinely sue international companies for billions of dollars. It doesn't mean it has to kidnap and detain random B level executives of the companies indefinitely or sue them in lieu of the company. Who does that? In any case, the only person whose weight is equal to Binance within Binance is CZ. Why not send your Isale Eko Jameson Bond amala agents to kidnap CZ the same way Buhari kidnapped Nnamdi Kanu in Kenya? It is idiocy to 'detain' a company's employees because you have an issue with the company. It's the same way our security agencies routinely kidnap someone's pregnant wife or aged parents because the 'someone' is at large. No where else in the world does this happen. 91 Likes 13 Shares |

The thing is that you disgusting creeps think you are smart. Your Tinubu thinks because he has money and has used propaganda to achieve his demonic agendas for over a decade, he will still use shameless people like you to continue deceiving Nigerians. You are mistaken. We will NEVER allow your stupid ronu propaganda to take root. Someone pointed your attention to the very specific fact that the forex inflow even as far back as 2019 was higher than what you and your useless ronu headed CBN is celebrating now, yet all you have to spew is absolute garbage. You all will waste your time. The billions deployed by your useless Tinubu for propaganda through jobless social media derelicts like you would be in vain. |

Politics / Re: What If Southsouth Does Not Give Southeast Sea Access If Nigeria Divide? by hedonido: 4:37pm On Mar 30 |
This question is based on some funny suppositions. In the event that the South East becomes a country, the South South will remain a part of Naijeriya. Since the South South does not have any real hostility on its own against the South East, we have to assume that any attempt to block access to the sea 'by the South South' can only come from the government of Naijeriya, likely led/dominated by either northerners or Yorubas. The South South, being the lonely disparate minorities in that new Naijeriya dominated by abokki elements and Yoruba elements would be foolish enough to allow itself be used against the independent 'South East Country' with which it shares significant historical and heritage/ethno-cultural ties. Imagine bearing the name 'Emeka' as a South South Naijeriyan after the Igbos have exited the contraption. You will be treated very well by the abokki and Yoruba dominatrons, right? So, this thread is just for wild academic exertions. There is nothing practical in the idea projected by the OP. 4 Likes |

The Nigerian Army is a cowardly force. The most cowardly in the world. Is it a show of "strength" to kill unarmed and unthreatening compatriots? If unknown persons killed your colleagues, painful as it is, why not do the painstaking work of investigating, tracking, smoking them out and bringing them to justice? Is that not how the United States, Israel, and the other big guys we all look up to do it? So if your soldiers are killed in a particular village, you simply go there and kill every random soft target you see....knowing full well that the actual killer is uncertain or at large? Oya clap for yourselves. 7 Likes |
