God has done it, passport request, after several denials UK, America and Canada . Even without paying my sch fees I got an approval May God alone be praised. My story is unique will share soon. Thanks my Nairaland family u guys r awesome.

I need help, I have been denied a Canadian Student visa for the 2nd time yesterday and the reason state that they are not convinced that I will return back to lagos based on my personal assets and financial status. I want to state that my brother is my sponsor and I work in a bank but my salary is not huge and I don't have enough money in my account. Pls I intend to reapply but don't know how to defend this point in my application. Pls I need everyone's help and idea. God bless

I am 36 year old lady with a child, am separated and I work in a bank. I have a bsc and MSc from Nigeria universities and got an admission to Brandon University for a masters degree sometime last year. I have been denied visiting visa in UK and USA in the past and applied for canada students visa last year may and was denied in September 2020. On the basis of no travel history, no strong hometie, inadequate prove of employment and the further stated that they are not convinced that I will return after my academic. I submitted prove of funds of my sponsor who is my siblings who works as a lecture abroad. I received my gcm notes in January.
Pls house I need help on what to do cos I intend to reapply next month and do not want to get another denial

Good morning house, i was denied last week a student visa on the basis of travel history, ties to Canada and Nigeria, purpose of visit and personal and financial assets. I want to quickly state that in my previous application i made it clear that i have been denied a uk and American visiting visa i also stated that i have a brother presently schooling in the same university am going to in Canada and aldo stated that i have a child and an elderly mother here in Nigeria that i will be coming back to be with after my msc degree. Finally i am going to be fully funded by my brother who is a professor in one of the university in America where all is paytubs and other financial proof was submitted. I only indicated that i work in a bank with my appointment letter but i did not include my statement of account or payslip as i donot have sufficient funds in my personal account.
Pls i will like to be advised on what else to do to enhance my new application as i intend to give it another again.

Tanks so much. Pls I need to know if I need to wait to get a letter from ircc b4 going 4 medicals as I have submitted my online visa application since May but no medical request yet. I actually call one of the hospitals in lagos and they said that since I have already applied that I need to wait for a response from ircc b4 I can go 4 medicals. Am just abit worried cos I don't know if its true or I can just go ahead with the medicals and if I do how do I send it across to them. Thanks for your care cheers

Gm all, pls I asked earlier that do vfs send notifications as soon as biometric appointment is booked. Am asking because I sent an email to them this morning and did not see anything like sent or receive any confirmation mail. I would like to know the best way to book a biometric appointment cos am really behind schedule.

Am asking because I called one of the medical centers in lagos Island and the customer service person that attended to me said I can't come for medicals after applying except I get a form or go ahead from then. Good day everyone, i have really gotten a lot of information here, but i need to know if i can go biometric now cos i got a letter on 18th requesting that i go for biometric which was exactly 5 days after i applied online. Please i need to know if there is a way i can get my biometric done cos i have tried to reach the lagos center via email, phone etc all to no success, pls i need an advice on what to be done to enhance my onlinr study permit approval.
