Education / Re: Prof. Theo Vincent, Ex-uniport VC Who Lives In A Slum by helistysworld: 6:43pm On Sep 06, 2015
Hmm...I wonder what will happen in the next few years if some people that called themselves educated can't be patient enough to read a few paragraphs. What will you teach your children?
@ those asking about his earnings and probably investments in those days lecturers were not earning what you thought. Some were actually cheating to live a good life.
@ those asking about his children. You don't know their own situation and moreover not all parents like being a burden.

Bottom line.Always think twice before you judge others .You may always think you can do better when in another man's situation .A shoe on Mr A's will never feel the same on your own.
God will help you.

Family / Re: Did I Do The Right Thing In This Situation?? by helistysworld: 10:56pm On Aug 29, 2015
Op ,you are doing the right thing as far as am concern on this matter for those saying I pray that you will not become a victim of false accusations. Am a woman of many words cos in my few years have witnessed more the n my age...
years ago as a spinster, I stayed in a compound in lagos here, young and comfortable and because of my job its only on weekends that am around .There is this neighbour whose children are always in my apartment eating all meals most times,I bought clothes, shoes and a lot of things to cut the long story short. The children loved me so much and the woman accused me of trying to steal her children's glory. It was so bad and I thank God am alive to share this. Better be named wicked than being accused of what can dent your image.

Crime / Re: 65year-old Landlord Lured, Raped Our Daughter For Rituals – Victim’s Mother(pic) by helistysworld: 1:00pm On Aug 29, 2015
God have Mercy.Well some people think I was kind of weird & paranoid when i left my Job 2 years ago to take care of my children.Abeg I no wan go jail for murder because I don't joke at all about my children. Seeing them alone makes me feel relieved and happy sometimes when I think of the things am denying myself to see them properly taken care of.
God will help all parents trying so hard to provide for their families.
Family / Re: Should I Allow My Wife To Leave Our 4 Month-Old-Baby And Start Work? by helistysworld: 10:46pm On Jul 10, 2015
I hope this piece will help a bit.
Some time ago.,lost my job and got a baby and I wasn't exclusively breastfeeding. The girl drank 1 cup of formula at most 3-4days and was breastfeeding many times a day. Add the feed money + diapers + house running expenses and extended family obligations. Bros nobody told me when I dropped the girl and started a home-based business with a little capital.
Luckily for me I got the best day Care.Along the line I enrolled in a fashion school and still running my biz with baby in day care till 5-6pm daily. After some time I got a very good job and I resumed.8am-6pm daily but because of traffic jam ,u know the rest.
I decided to call it quit after my daughter started school and presently am running my biz and also nursing a baby who will soon resume day care.thank God you have a woman who is ready to work. I know some who will always use their babies to cover their laziness.
All thanks to God and to nairaland, It all started here.

Some nairalanders sha with their dreamworld mentality.
@Moorchmoore,bros,u wear the shoe and knows well where its pinching you.And 4month old is not too young .Think deeply and analyse your options. Presence of money in the pocket of the husband is a defence and lack of it is an offence.
These days you need a lot to train a child or else you want them to struggle unnecessarily.
