Medicare Advantage plans are a type of Medicare health plan offered by private insurance companies that contract with Medicare to provide beneficiaries with all their Part A and Part B benefits. To be eligible for Medicare Advantage Plan, you must meet the following criteria:

You must be enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B.
You must live in the service area of the Medicare Advantage plan you want to join.
You cannot have End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) unless you are enrolling in a Special Needs Plan (SNP) that specifically serves people with ESRD.
You must be able to pay the plan's monthly premium, if it charges one.
It's worth noting that some Medicare Advantage plans also offer additional benefits, such as dental, vision, and hearing coverage, as well as prescription drug coverage (known as Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug plans).
