The OP should know he already made a big mistake by coming to lagos without a plan. Surviving in lagos is not easy one single bit and from the look of things, you are sounding a bit frustrated. I will advice you take the remaining piece of yourself back to the South east and think about how useful you can be their. By the way, what's your qualification? And those jobs you see pasted on the road, ma brother all nah marketing job ooo. You work and they give you commission. For example, you sell one carton of milk and #200 will be given to you. So if u are able to sell 20cartons a day, #2000 will be yours and am sure that's not what you want.

Hmmmm! I taught as much

I'm yet to see a testimony from someon here who applied what he/she learnt from nairaland and became what he is today.

We read people's posts and threads everyday but where are the testimonies?

I have decided to shun all online gimmicks and move straight to offline biz. I just need aa workable offline business venture that can fetch a growing fund with a capital as low As 100k.
Please your advice is needed

Hmm! Lagos, most rugged city, most notorious city in Nigeria.
It's very hard and sweet to survive in Lagos if you don';t have a job nor any source of income. @Op, it's like you weren't born in Lagos?
Nah! Surfaced from the east to rumble it in lagos.

This is a cry from a helpless guy. I roam the streets of lagos everyday from 6am to 9pm, yet I don't seem to figure out a veritable source for sustainance.

The feeling is grievous. Please guys how do you cope in this place? Bc I belive some people while searching for a good job still have something to fall back on. Please what is that thing let's share.

Life here is too terrible. Please I dont mean those still under their parents bc mine is late and i'm the first child of the family. High hopes rest on my shoulder.

And please what's your take on those posters pasted on oshodi and other places, cele under bridge claiming to have jobs of 80k etc.

Business / No Ebooks Secrets Anymore, Let Truth Be Told by henry255: 1:52pm On Jul 09, 2015
Before I joined nairaland, I was made to understand that this is a forum where secrets are made open, where the unknown can be your brother's keeper.

Now, some crazy dumbass come up here with some ideas that even some people give out for free. Kudos to a whole of them helping out in some threads and testimonies springing up here and there.

Now let truth be told. You sell an ebook content claiming to reveal how to buy a new samsung galaxy S4 for a price of $50 what!!!
Are you kidding? A macbook that goes for over $2000 you buy for 35,000 in naira equivalent. This is a serious limbass hook!
HELLO! CAN I GET SOME FRESH AIR?

I hate that bullsh*it. I started buying ebooks as far back 2008. It was last year an online niccur popped up with his HEAVEN ON EARTH ebook/writeup. I decided to give it a try. When I went through it. None of his claims were valid.

We are all Nairalanders. I want gurus and intellects on this. Unleash the secrets you claim is factual let's judge from a perception.
Now my argument is... I have a couple of friends in computer village in lagos state. No one seem to believe that such information could actually be true unless it's a china product.

Air your view and state your point with facts

Did you say scam @royal? Please don't be quick to conclude. The BEST part of the biz for me is not the money but the FREE Internet marketing i get. I contacted people here and I was charged 10k for the first part of the course. I am learning Internet marketing by doing the tasks on my board and am earning while doing it. Its no scam you get to put in much time and dedication like any offline biz. What convinced me more self was that they ve bn around for more than 15 years.
Well, good for u but i'm not convinced

Hi henry255

There are no reliable ones anymore. no company can genuinely offer there employees long term job security anymore due to the state of the global economy and changing economic trends, that is now an optical illusion, better be your own boss and make more residual income money then any boss is able to pay you.

first of all bro, come to think of this; you're not the only one experiencing this sardonic trend that has engulf nigeria's graduates with inexplicable restriction to obtain jobs.

but beyond all, bro? given up shouldn't be an option,

try something new; if possible out of your field of study.

attend programs to keep you versatile.

but pls take note next, take an ample time to construct better post; you wouldn't know some one might help you out....

tnx
Well,
I didn't notice my post was not well constructed. Now back to your suggestions. I am someone who believes in versatility. I don't put my eggs in one basket. I have tried out so many things that prompted my post uphere
