Jamie Pajoel International (JPI) has announced the selection of the 27 Imo State youths to attend the 4th edition of the JPI Annual Leadership Conference in Kigali, Rwanda.

The conference is part of the JPI Global Exchange Program, which aims to foster leadership skills, entrepreneurship, and nation building.

The conference will take place from the 17th to the 20th of August 2023 at the Marriot Hotel Kigali Rwanda. The selection was based on merit, with the aim of identifying youths with a high sense of purpose and great leadership skills. The selection process acknowledges the participants' desire for leadership, entrepreneurship, and nation building.

JPI congratulates those that made the list from the 27 Local Government Area of Imo state.
This selection is a testament to their outstanding leadership skills and commitment to purpose-driven living. JPI recognizes the desire of these participants to make a positive impact in the world. Hon. Chinedu Amadi who is an Mbaitolu born philanthropist, business man and entrepreneur has revealed that he will run for the Imo State gubernatorial election coming up on November 2023.

The aspirant revealed this during a press interview in the city of Owerri. While saying, he will be contesting under Labour Party, according to him, only a young fascinating leader like himself can lead Labour Party to victory against the rulling APC.

Hon. Chinedu said that his candidacy will make the youths happy and bring down poor governance that has been in the state over the years. He noted that only a prepared young mind can bring back the lost glory of the state. He also said “After consultation with my family, friends, business associates and well meaning Imolites, I am offering myself to serve Imo people by contesting for the guber ticket of Labour Party. I wish to change many things about our state which I can not do outside the corridor of power.

Going further, the Guber candidate said "Like Peter Obi, I want to challenge the unproductive system. We can not continue to recycle ineffective leaders who have held tight to our common wealth, especially since the last Supreme Court judgement that produced the current state government and still expect positive results.” His statement continued,”As a state, we’ve been starved of quality leadership. We are yet to experience a government that is transparent and accountable to its citizens. Those elected to serve us have turned the citizens to slave and squander their resources; enriching their family members and cronies. This has to stop. I volunteer to lead a revolution in the state through the ballot. I’m experienced, young and willing to serve.

Speaking about Labour Party, Hon Amadi said that Labour Party is a fresh breathe to our political space.

The management and staff of Vantage Canadian College Lagos has held the foundation laying ceremony on the College in Lagos Nigeria.

The colourful and glamourous foundation stone laying was held on the 12th of November 2022.

Vantage Canadian College was established for the purpose of creating an environment for students to challenge, question, learn, grown and have fun through engaging interactive in-person classroom and online learning from the instructors.

The College will be offering Grade 10-12 (SS1-SS3) which will be a University pathway to Ontario Secondary School Diploma in Nigeria.

In his keynote address the president of the College, Mr. Jamie Pajoel said that the College when completed will offer Canadian High School Syllabus, where students from the College can also apply to study and work in Canada after obtaining their O.S.S.D Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

Further more, he said that " The real world is rapidly becoming more competitive, dynamic and demanding, as greater emphasis is now being placed on graduates who can strategize effectively, act decisively, drive performance, collaborate successfully and creatively innovate."

Vantage Canadian College aims to ensure that children are well trained, well equipped with 21st-century learning and world-class Canadian educational experience. VCC is a college with a clear vision and aims to be a leading, respected Canadian College in Nigeria, known for innovation and excellence in preparing students for entry at undergraduate degrees at top Universities in Canada.


According to the Vice President, Dr. Edema Oreofe, Dr. Linda Iheme (Director) and the Director, Academics- Joann Ihuoma Anokwuru, she said that their approach to teaching is the Canadian High School Syllabus, and Certification will be awarded by the Ontario Ministry of Education under the Government of Canada.

She further stressed that the school's its core emphasis will be to imbibe a teaching relationship based on rapport, commitment, and trust, which challenges student’s assumptions and biases and help unearth lessons from experiences that can expand their perspective on.

Jamie Pajoel International a globally recognized NGO with operations in Canada and Nigeria held its Annual Leadership Conference with over 3000 Delegates in attendance.

JPI Leadership Conference engaged a wide array of participants including Civil Servants, Lawyers, Doctors, CEO, Civil Societies, Youths, Founders and Coordinators of NGOs and some international delegates across other countries

The conference incorporated case studies as well as best practices in redefining Leadership and Governance, which brought out recommendations that will help build sustainable systems and improve standard of living in the country.

Speakers at the Conference includes;
H/E Mr. Peter Obi, Jamie Pajaol, Dr. Linda Iheme, Prof. Pat Utomi, Hon. Dr Chris Asoluka, Dr. Linus Okorie, Dr. Summy Smart Francis, Adepeju Jaiyeoba, Nnadi Austen, Dr. Edema Oreofe.

Chief Executive Officer Pamtech Group, Engr Chidomere Ndubuisi , Ajah Excel , Barr Ndidi Anike- Chairperson FIDA Imo branch, Emeka Nobis were panelist at the talkshow.

In the keynote address, the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) Mr Peter Obi used the conference to groom and brainstorm on the need for leadership based on example, as he said that 100 million Nigerians are currently living in poverty amidst the nation’s huge resources.

He stressed that "Nigeria has all it takes to be a great nation, but added that the country’s greatest setback was bad leadership, corruption and poor policy implications."

Speaking on the theme “WAY FORWARD” Obi stated that the Nigerian economy cannot advance with the current state of poor power supply, a situation that has kept the country backward.

According to him, if Nigeria can generate 20,000 megawatt, the country’s economy would transform within a shot period of time.

“Nigeria has borrowed 500 million dollars in the last 20 years, if Nigeria had spent 5 per cent of the money borrowed so far on entrepreneurship and power generation, the country will compete with advance countries.

“Our leaders have continued to talk about poor revenue, today we have 100 million Nigerians living in poverty and yet our leaders have not found solution to our problems”, he said.

He however advised Nigerians to remain steadfast and always be ready to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the nation.

Prof Pat Utomi in his speech said vision and ideas were the key factors to drive any economy.

He said any leadership without a clear vision was bound to fail, adding that Nigerian leaders failed the country due to poor vision and ideas.

According to him, a 21st century leader must be familiar with the system and understand properly the dynamics of leadership.

Dr Linus Okorie, Chief Executive Officer GOTNI Leadership Center in his submission blamed Nigeria's poor economic situation on maladministration of previous leaders.

The convener of the conference, and founder Legislative Leadership Education, Canada, Ceo Vantage Migration, President -JPI Mr Jamie Pajoel, stated that the conference was aimed at incorporating case studies, redefining leadership, governance, and to bring recommendations that would help sustain the system.

He said the 2022 annual JPI leadership conference would also incorporate people of different professions across the nation and some international delegates

Pajoel stated that internal limitation was a big factor that could work against the success of any nation or individual.

“Internal limitation is very dangerous, as a nation or individual, we need to learn how to manipulate limitations to address counter productive syndrome.

“We must be ready to develop ourselves, our capital is the relationship we keep, we must be ready to utilize it.

“Generational curse is not spiritual but human factor, what we are facing today in Nigeria is the actions of our past leaders, we must be ready to confront the situation in our time”, he stated.

He attributed negative interpretation as the major cause of setback. “Negative interpretation helps the mind to work against you.

“Don’t allow fear to stop you, be positive minded and confront every situation with faith”, he advised.

The movie stars talented actors like Bimbo Ademoye, Deyemi Okanlawon, Linda Iheme, Mr Macaroni, Benjamin Touitou, Etinosa Idemudia, Chris Iheuwa to name a few.
The movie which is said to be a blockbuster movie is being distributed in cinemas worldwide by Blue Pictures Nigeria.
The movie was produced and directed by Emem Isong Misodi, Executive produced by Dr Linda Iheme and Associate Produced by Mary Uye. Screenplay was by Anthony Kehinde Joseph. According to Vantage Migration and Royal Arts Academy it’s going to be an inspiring blockbuster.
