Car Talk / Re: The Scam Of 6 Months Nigerian Used Cars For Sale by here: 11:33pm On Aug 09, 2016 |
It's a sad case, though certain dealers like Kubwa dealers in Abj can keep cars for 3yrs refusing to sell rather at ridiculous amounts with no single buyer being identified as having bought from them;making me suspect most are into money laundering. back to the subject, its common in Abuja and mostly lawy enforcement agents or those who have someone they can call to intervene when these cars are impounded hence the hight rate of car hijack in Abuja. Its not just about Hondas anymore but the recent trend of persons spending above 1-3M buying a car and put old plate numbers even where its the new plate you realize they are stretched plate numbers possibly savaged from accidented cars. Some share refusal to pay the required registration others hope to sell after using for 6months to 1year claiming 3months used. If you watch closely, amongst those lost cars you wonder how can someone buy a 5M car and whe lost you ask if there is security or tracker they always reply no.I really dnt pity anyone in those cases. My view is use the vin if its more than 6months even with clear history really negotiate as you might be buying a load bcz even if its ok how can yoi Park a cat for 3yrs and expect I buy it as new claiming no buyer came forward? 1 Like |

I keep wondering how this padding thing happened? The budget goest through regular number of readings and each member is given a copy and get to review the changes.Does this show they don't read it? How can you say yes to vote a bill you didn't read? I suggest the investigation should include every member as Co conspirator to this conflict of interest and abuse of office. Because until they give Nigerians the rationale behind the formula for the allocation of constituency projects across the country I can only assume they conspired to dupe Nigerians of our hard income 3 Likes |

Someone is trying to make a statement, first indicating he belongs to a class that believes serving military courts are not to bcourtse tried on civilian courts while still in active service. He wants to turn his conviction to null and maybe instigate the bad blood in the uniform forces that their accomplished officer is being ridiculed on uniform. Hope someone is following this script. Hope the military can stop him by way of direct instruction to save the system from this bad blood as I see this uniform will be worn and pics leak online at each seating, message of the militants comes to mind. 1 Like 1 Share |

As if Mr. President and his team were in my thoughts and our debate early January, we need this for UAE and if possible South Africa and most OPEC states since we are importing refined products from members. CAD though little volatile regains quickly too.Imagine if south African Republic investors who dnt have assets here and usually transfer earnings back home or contracted services to UAE can access these currencies directly rather than dollars first. If an importer of pet products from Saudi or Others can exchange directly then why buy dollars? |

Then I remember towns sacked and no one blinked and I say "its well" |
Family / Re: My Wife Feels Little Or No Urge For Intimacy... Please Advice by here: 6:01am On Apr 01, 2016 |
The challenges of present generation of new weds are unique sometimes I wonder because it has its way of boiling to the next generation. I was wondering reading the replies "why the blame game" just because you were unfortunate you believe every case is same? Why say "She is busy taking care of His Child" or even assume it has anything to do with his personal appearance. There are many possibilities and blames or negative mindset has never helped anyone. All we can do is suggest possibilities but not this because I think by these attacks on genders I see no better definition for "selfish and bitter" OP I understand there are humans who do not know how to address and issue and most times it comes out like there have been piles of offences try to avoid that and communicate with her.Get a help but where possible let her get considering ur pocket thats if you dnt have one.Like as many suggested undertake vacations or sleep outs but at safe locations once a while you can go with the baby as all you all need is change of environment. If you can consider changing appartment and let her decide what location and if you cannot afford it now atleast you have agreed and work towards it.You both need a hobby, support each to undertake something like games or group anything to help one have and independent time aside work.It might or mightnt be the fault of the other and in most cases its not just an underlying problem to a bigger problem and the real issue mightnt even be addressed in the long run bcz I know the problem is after everything you feel you have done, the only thing you feel you love to have its denied you with no explanation,I understand but hang in there.Try avoid the discussion seeming your complaining, not many women however you think are strong inside recover from Labour but I admire a colleague who once said she really feels like giving birth again, the was the bread winner then! So you see relax dnt push urself and get frustrated if efforts doesnt change anything but keep the communication open while avoiding stress after work.I have seen alot and sometimes imagine why they keep being married if each are expected to prove to be worth it.Its marriage not a contest. Sometimes you dnt assume he or she should know thats why you ask "Honey can you help me with this or can you take this route to pick this up for me but if its not ok I can manage". Wonder really. Hang in there bro, evaluate whats needed like I said to make you both comfortable and run it with here get her input and let each take responsibility. Wish you luck |
Romance / Re: Why Are Men So Selfish During Sex? by here: 3:22pm On Mar 28, 2016 |
The act should be fun and not war or contest about who cu-ms first. If a party coms first, play n really enjoy n go more, define spontaneous and real makeout. Take out vacation and dedicate quality time to make out and enjoy pre event rather than rush. I pity any spouse who does not go more than X1 means u really dnt enjoy anything. It should be fun I repeat not race. but careful of heart condition as can be noticed in manner som com. Yes both party deserve to ensure other have fun but should nt be judgemental when the other has a deficiency work with the other to enjoy it rather than turn each to an argument 3 Likes |
Family / Re: My Wife To Be Has Anger Issue. How Do I Curtail It? by here: 6:00am On Mar 22, 2016 |
Any partner be it male or female with anger issues enough to flare or raise voices constantly at thw other or discuss issues with third party has personal issues and ego. its common with our independent ladies, notice most without good relationship or late marriages are blessed with this habit or younger ladies in most pentecostal churches who are independent.Usually they believe its a way of survival, even your most private is discussed amongst friends that is if they have or a religious figure who counsel them almost weekly. No man would tell his fellow man to put away his woman but my dear consider you're not married and it could be rhis, what happens after pains of first Labour or second as we know not many woman contain their personality afterĺ. Another error I think is you dnt let a partner advice you on everything, its only way you gain some respect rather than seem clueless over time. Some would have said enforce ur manliness or cure her but there is no guarantee it would bring peace not even sure leaving would give u better but prayerfully take a decision and if possible slow on plans on marriage till events take better shape as in you both overcome this. But never overlook pointers before marriage, it comes to bite. First attempt to seat her down and list things ur nt comfortable with and let her list hers and each promise to amend and see how that works but dnt be deceived. Finally if your the type that complain at slight chance pls remember even the Bible said its in a man's honor to overlook an offence. but this doesnt mean u should not be creative to correct a partner without nagging or seeming weak Goodluck |

I don't knw how the beautiful treasure base of the nation is being treated this way, also heard about the PA or SA to the former Obio Akpor Chairman same yesterday. We hope all parties in this are watching. Does the people of Nigeria have to be threatened anytime they need to select their leaders? Why so much bloodshed, and agencies saddled with protecting lives will seem helpless? Who really killed who during the last election and who is killing or attempting to kill this time? I will expect Rivers residents and natives to come out in mass and vote at every election,no one should shy away, vote for whoever you want and please Nigerians outside Rivers should avoid helping heat up that state, because that is what has been the case and it has not helped. If you think you really like the state go and become an observer and report your findings May God save Rivers State this next six months |

Natural Gas Power Expert - Power Africa Transactions & Reforms Program (PATRP) - Abuja, Nigeria Telecommuter About the Job Nexant, Inc.—a US Government services contractor--seeks a Natural Gas Power Expert to serve as a long-term resident in Abuja, Nigeria for the Power Africa Transactions & Reforms Program (PATRP), the contractor enabling partner for the US Government’s Power Africa Initiative in sub-Saharan Africa. This $64 million, 5 year technical assistance project is designed to bring more electricity to sub-Saharan African via a deal / transaction-centered approach. The Power Africa initiative seeks to shift the typical international development paradigm to a transaction‐centered approach that provides host country governments in sub-Saharan Africa, the private sector, and international donor agencies with a focal point to galvanize collaboration around priority electricity generation, transmission, and distribution transactions--with a focus on those that involve private sector participation and finance--helping to bring them to financial close and on‐line in an expedited time frame. Nigeria is a priority country for Power Africa. Natural gas supplies the fuel for most of Nigeria’s power generating capacity and thus is a very important part of that country’s energy mix. While seemingly abundant supplies of natural gas exist in the country, its lack of gas gathering, processing, and transportation infrastructure has severely hampered the county’s ability to capitalize on this important power generation fuel source. Second only to Russia, Nigeria ranks next for unnecessarily flaring associated gas, a byproduct of the country’s significant oil production. The country needs to formulate a comprehensive framework to create a realistic, credible, and clearly defined long-term strategy to recover and monetize flared gas and use it to supply gas-fired power plants to generate electricity for the country. But the lack of gas transmission infrastructure causes many of the power plants to operate at low utilization rates, so the Government’s generation expansion plan is challenging due to lack of the ability to transmit gas to power plants. The country’s gas and power regulatory authorities also need capacity building assistance to improve their organizational structures, policies, and procedures--including their oversight and regulatory capacity. Duties and Responsibilities Gas Flaring Examination of Alternatives for Reducing Gas Flaring & Increasing Associated Gas Utilization Examine other worldwide examples of successful gas flaring reduction and utilization programs in Russia, Oman, etc. Evaluate techniques to reduce gas flaring such as the imposition of penalties, revocation of operating licenses, liberalization of associated gas prices, granting preferred access to the electricity grid for power generated from gas flaring projects, encouragement for establishing joint ventures among firms to share infrastructure, policy incentives to promote new technologies and provide tax relief for new associated gas projects, and joint implementation projects for flare gas use under the Kyoto Protocol to provide financial incentives for companies to invest in associated gas utilization projects. Examine the technical and economic feasibility of current gas flaring capture and utilization projects in Nigeria (Shell, etc.) and how expertise can be applied to other gas flaring and utilization projects Recommend a comprehensive policy, legal, and regulatory framework—through a combination of punitive sanctions and incentives to reduce gas flaring and profitably utilize associated gas—to address associated gas flaring levels and its commercial utilization Locations & Uses of Flared Gas Examine and rank primary locations of flared gas activities and their suitability for end uses (quality of gas, current infrastructure, likely end uses) Recommend improvements to and costs of additional gas infrastructure that would bring the gas on-shore (if applicable), clean and process it, and distribute it to end-users Examine local markets and uses for the gas, including the prices that can be obtained Identify which power plants could use the gas for the generation of electricity (methane), as well as other uses such as LPG, CPG, NGLs, fertilizers, etc. Provide Transaction Support to Attract Private Investment Conceptualize and structure gas capture, processing, transportation, and end use projects Assist in raising finance from international strategic and financial investors for these projects Advise on the bankability of the schemes proposed by local and international investors, including investors prequalification requirements and the assessment and valuation of proposals Develop & Administer Capacity Building Programs Develop and administer capacity building programs—transfer of technical, financial, and commercial expertise— to plan and implement activities associated with reducing gas flaring and efficiently managing the associated gas sector via seminars, workshops, and tutoring Tenders Assist the government conduct fair and open bidding processes, including determining lease sale terms and conditions and proper evaluation of bid adequacy Develop policies to promote fair and open competition in awarding of licenses and transparency in contracting Agreements Analyze contracts and contracting methods Advise on international best practices with respect to gas contracts and Production Sharing Agreements (PSAs) Provide advice on supervising, monitoring, and auditing of operator performance under signed contracts with the host government Gas Policy, Laws, Contracting, & Regulations Assist in developing national gas policies and laws Advise on international best practices with respect to legal, policy, and regulatory regimes governing the gas sector Provide advisory assistance on offshore unitization of resources and trans-boundary resource management Provide assistance in regulatory management and oversight Provide technical and policy advice regarding the use of gas resources domestically versus their value as export commodities Gas Resources Establish and/or manage a system for data management and analysis Advise on the management of national gas resources using databases, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), decision tools, and data analysis Provide assistance with reserve and resource estimation Conduct geologic modelling and geophysical data interpretation Conduct appraisals of oil & gas property (prospect and block evaluation) Provide advice and guidance on gas reservoir management Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) Provide environmental management expertise and built capacity in host-country institutions to effectively deal with environmental issues Develop, implement, and monitor environmental regulations Develop a process to conduct safety inspections Provide advice on sector oversight, including the preparation of remediation, restoration, and abandonment plans Assist and provide advice on environmental analyses, which included the following—(i) environmental and social impact assessments, (ii) onshore and offshore environmental analysis, (iii) consultations with local stakeholders, (iv) air and noise monitoring, (v) assessment of best environmental management practices, and (vi) mitigation and monitoring plans Advise on Equator Principles compliance audits to assess environmental and social risk in project finance transactions. This is the only group in Nigeria with so much resources at their disposal and only avenue to move Nigeria forward but I do not know 1 single reason why they exist. This is the only platform where some states can borrow the other loans or develop and adopt blueprints for regional development like South South pull up resources and adopt a level of development that can empower their people but no, so wasteful and forming pressure group and nuisance to themselves, Federal Govt and Nigerian populace. What stops them adopting a same model of hospitals on this platform so we can compare costs or Governors of North East workout establishment of gracing areas for cattles in their region or the South South Governors work out how to fix the only road linking them and ask for refund from Government , or the South East come together to find fixing of their federal roads and ask for refund to alleviate sufferings of their people on those roads; jst like as Mimiko asked for South West Governors in the past saying "let us adopt a developmental road map for the region and sign" but no. Rather they can go get Blair to come talk to them, the only man whose only trip the last time to Africa was to get South Africa approve the take military take over of Zimbabwe? So they really needed a motivational speaker? |
