Don't really know how these things work cos it's been a very long freaking time i've been here. I will just share my lil experience.
I put in study permit application online for my junior brother (BSC) who's in Lagos, Nigeria. he had a good income flow and about 7m as balance.
I only added my financial paper work with my passport pagee and ID cards together with my Senior Bros We wrote letters, notarized them and added them to his application.
His application Timeline

Feb 10, 2022applied online and uploaded all docs
Feb 16, 2022 Bio done
March 8, 2022 - Approved . Passport requested

End.

It's been a while here. AP does not exclusively mean "refusal". I remember I was placed on AP after interview back in 2017 for an F1 visa. I asked the VO if he was refusing me. He said No but we have to do some background checks before moving on with adjudicating your visa. He pulled out his boss after the interview to verify some anomalies on his screen. He then gave me a special white slip with case number written on it. I got couple of questions by email and was told to respond with evidence. Eventually I got the visa after 2-3 months wait. AP has many categories and does not necessarily mean refusal. Life has changed since transiting from F1 to PR. Life is good!

That's right. Honestly I'd love to talk about the so called H1b but I think it would be highly discouraging especially nowadays and i'd rather let everyone pursue their American dreams. I wish y'all best of luck. Thank you.

Go ahead and apply if you think you've got the admission requirements and other stuffs to secure funding. Everybody's resume or situation is not the same, it's the way of approach that matters. That's my own opinion on whether one school is bad or not. I'm studying at a university without gre or whatever y'all call these exams and I eventually got funding after my first semester and likewise working on other stuffs that matter. This country is not what y'all think it is. You need to be completely smart. Wish you best of luck.

It's quite a while I've been here. I don't think you can transfer to another school or transfer your SEVIS no more. There was supposed to be an adjustment of law regarding F1 on this matter this past august 9th by uscis. Kindly check and verify it cos i didn't follow up thereafter. I'm studying here in Arkansas. Congratulations once more to you.

Yellow ko pink ni. What you need is ur original i-20. End of story.
Travel / Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 13 by herrlicher: 2:09am On Aug 06, 2018
Inform the uni about the situation and that they should issue you a revised i-20 or otherwise defer ur admission. I remember very well, I was placed on almost 3 months AP last year beginning Aug 1st. I had to defer and get new i-20 which I later used in getting my visas. Besides, the i-20 was checked at POE JFK NY. Anyway all that is story. Still in the US, AR.

Sorry about the denial but honestly, I can't see no connections at all in ur response. Take some time and review your response again. Good luck!

You have no ties and your uncle being your sponsor isn't %100 reliable. Finally, it could've made some great sense, if you had been granted an offer conditionally at your alma mata than otherwise stated. You did well. Great response but you need to check these things out. However, Some VO's may choose to ignore "no wife, no kid(s) ties" since u are on F1 while others may not. This is my first time of quoting someone after i landed in the US since last year.
Good job!!

I was placed in administrative processing for about 42 days since the day of my interview. However, I was eventually cleared and got my visa in about a week thereafter. I met about 2 other guys who were placed in the same pool and were later rejected. You'll just have to wait cos there is virtually nothing you can do except to try and mail em once a week after 30days. Moreover, there are varieties of administrative processing and I don't know which category yours belong. In my own case, I had a successful interview and was handed a white paper ticked administrative processing and was told by the VO that they would contact me by email or phone in due course. Got their email 2 days after. They requested that I answer some questions with proofs. I guess I had a part of my data matched with someone they were looking for. And then the process went on and on. It was really crazy mehnn but I thank God. If you come out clean, you'll be granted the visa shikena. I rest my pen.

Everything here matters cos its in relative to someone else's question not a demo.
Its that simple!

I didn't write TOEFL and GRE and I got my visa. I bless God for that.
Its all depends on how u present yourself, your confidence and spoken English and way of expression matter a lot here. U must be untop of your game wen u meet your friend ( VO).

Good day VO.
Thanks for your inputs.
What could still be causing visa delay after a completed administrative processing that lasted nearly 6wks??
Meanwhile I got this email from the embassy last week 12th sept.

Thank you for your email.

The administrative processing on your application has been completed. Your visa should be ready for pick up in 3 working days.

My brother my passport dey my hand jare. I have never seem nor heard this kind of stuff b4. I have never ever stepped by feet out of the shores of this country b4. Not even @benin republic.
It just an unfortunate situation and its seriously killing my morale. Went for interview 1st Aug. After a successful interview, the VO excused himself, brought another old looking man with whom they were discussing about my data fron jis screen for almost 8 mins. I was given a white paper ticked administrative processing. Was explained by the VO that they wanna do check. I obliged. 2 days later , got an email of some series of security questions whether I have left this country to LIBERIA, and list my siblings names and if I was trained or took part in one military drill to the other and where I was certain time between 2004-06 ( I competed high school at 04. Then jamb), and should answer with proofs which I obliged and sent. I just weak cos all these data match no concern me at all and as an engineer , working currently as maintenance engineer, I kept asking myself, At least they ought to have the finger print of whoever they are trying to track .....wetin come concern innocent person like me...I am not happy of this kind of delay. God will c me through in Jesus name

Got a mail today but not really happy. It read thus:

Your case is still under review; this type of processing can sometimes involve several different sections and can take several months or longer. The unit completing the administrative processing does not always have full control of the timing involved.

We understand your concerns and will contact you when we are able to proceed. We appreciate your patience as we undergo this process.

Sincerely,
