Religion / 7 Facts About The Birth Of Jesus Christ - Awe Hilary by HilaryAwe(m): 11:05pm On Dec 25, 2020
Today, being the 25th of December, is a day that have been set aside annually, to commemorate and celebrate the birth of JESUS CHRIST, and not His birth date. The move is an orchestration from God, like the days of old, when He ordained feasts, for the children of Israel to celebrate His name, and to always call them into remembrance of His great works.

The celebration of the birth of JESUS CHRIST, is of great significance not just for believers, but the world at large, because it calls men and women to remembrance of the salvinic work of JESUS CHRIST on the cross.

However, it is totally wrong, and out of place for any believer to contest or debate the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, because that will be tantamount to denying the existence of Jesus Christ, or the price He paid on the cross for the restoration of mankind back to God.

Moreover, it is important that we note some facts about the birth of JESUS CHRIST;

1. The WORD (JESUS CHRIST) existed before the beginning of the world ( John 1:1, Luke 20:41-44).

2. Jesus Christ (THE WORD) is the only one, dead or alive, that was not conceived through sexual intercourse, but by the HOLY SPIRIT (Mathew 1:18, Luke 1:35).

3. His personality was not changed by virtue of His birth, for He took a human form, for the purpose of His assignment ( John 1:14, Galatians 4:4).

4. HE is the WORD OF GOD, and HIS conception came by THE WORD OF GOD ( Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:38).

5. HIS name, JESUS CHRIST, was crafted by GOD, for the purpose of His Son's earthly assignment ( Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:35).

6. The Birth of JESUS CHRIST came with these signs, PROPHECY, THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, HIS STAR, KINGSHIP, WORSHIP, DIRECTION, APPRECIATION, PROTECTION AND SALVATION ( Isaiah 7:14, Mathew 1:18, Mathew 2:2, Mathew 2:9, Mathew 2:11-12, Acts 4:12).

7. The birth of JESUS CHRIST, is an expression of LOVE from God to mankind, and the gift of SALVATION to ALL ( Ephesians 2:8-9, 2Corinthians 5:21, Acts 4:12).

However, the essence of Christmas is not to celebrate like pagans, but to act as STARS leading men and women to JESUS CHRIST.

Dont be a hater like King Herod, LET US ALL CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF THE JESUS CHRIST, THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD.

CAN YOU SHOUT HALLELUJAH!!!

WE CELEBRATE JESUS CHRIST, FOR HE IS WORTHY OF OUR PRAISE.

Religion / Is God Speaking? Pt 1 - Awe Hilary by HilaryAwe(m): 2:06pm On Nov 07, 2020
BIBLE VERSE:

Job 33:14

For God may speak in one way, or in another,Yet man does not perceive it.

I watched a movie recently, and a priest decided to tell a story as a way of wise counsel to a young man he just saved from being harmed by two thugs, when he ran into his church.

The priest narrated a story to the young man, about a parish priest who lived in a town that got flooded as a result of a heavy downpour which persisted for months. The flooding caused people in the town to evacuate, but the parish priest refused to leave the town, as he spoke to himself as thus; " God will save me".

The authorities sent in the police, the firemen and even the army with a boat to evacuate the priest, but he refused as he reiterated his strong conviction that he will be saved by God.

However, the priest got drowned and died. After his departure from his earthly body, he came face to face with God, and he complained bitterly with a lamentation as he said to God; "Why did you not save me?". God replied the priest by saying; "I sent the police, the firemen, and even the army with a boat, but you refused to listen, hence you drowned".

There are a class of people who have become too familiar with God, like the aforementioned priest, that they have a fixated opinion of how God speaks to them, or how God should speak to them.

Also, there is another class of people who claim they have never heard from God or are of the view that God never speaks, whereas God speaks to them daily, but their inability to discern His voice, leaves them with the wrong opinion.

God is dynamic in His approach of communication, as He exercises His prerogative over the channel of choice. As believers, we must learn the way of the sheep which constantly follows the voice of the shepherd for direction. It is our calling as believers to follow the Lord, and in so doing we must be accustomed to His voice, that we may not be led astray by familiar shepherds.
John 10:27-28

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord teach me how to discern your voice, in Jesus name, amen.

2. Lord take away from me, every spirit of the goat, in Jesus name, amen.

3. I rebuke the voice of every familiar shepherd scheming to take me away from God, in Jesus name, amen.

4. I disassociate myself from every company of goats, that will only listen to the leading of goats and not the real shepherd, in Jesus name, amen.

Religion / Nigerians Should Overcome Evil With Good - Awe Hilary by HilaryAwe(m): 2:00am On Oct 25, 2020
There is a thin divide between good and evil, and both divides are actionable qualities that are powered by the government of choice, which also comes with its consequences - Prosperity or Destruction.

At every point in our lives, either as individuals or collectively as a Nation, there would always be a table set before us. This table holds our choices, and how we choose, determines the consequences that befalls us, either as individuals or as a Nation.

Deuteronomy 30:15

“See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil,

From the book of Deuteronomy 30:15-18, we can adduce that life is a product of obedience, and goodness is a consequence of obedience. Also death is a product of disobedience, and evil is a consequence of disobedience.

In exercising our God given authority of choice, we must listen carefully to the voice of God which says choose life, and this is attainable through our obedience to His words, that we may DWELL in the land which God has given to our fathers, which we occupy today.

Nigeria has been through alot, and this is occasioned by an attempt by the wicked to circumvent the order of God on the table of choice, by promoting the ideology that life is a product of evil, and goodness a consequence of evil. This falls short of the word of God, and has become responsible for the continuous injustice in the land.

This orchestration from the pit of hell has made our mother, Nigeria, a crying woman who constantly experiences pain occasioned by the loss of her noble children, through the abortion knife of the wicked. The wicked ones are delusioned with the fallacy that evil is a weapon for the mighty and a sustainer of life.

However, as children of God, it is our responsibility to demand for a change of the current order, but as we do so, we must overcome evil with good, by ensuring that we are not pushed to provocation that leads to an abdication of our primary responsibility of obeying God's word.

Moreover, it is imperative that we are guided by the words below which are boldly written in the Holy Bible;

1. Abhor what is evil, and cling to what is good (Romans 12:9).

2. Rejoice in hope, and be patient in tribulation (Romans 12:12).

3. Be steadfast in prayers (Romans 12:12).

4. Repay no one evil for evil (Romans 12:17).

5. Do not avenge yourselves (Romans 12:19).

6. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21)

God bless you.

Religion / Are Pastors Encouraging Idolatry In The Body Of Christ? by HilaryAwe(m): 7:45am On Feb 08, 2018
Idolatry is a practice that is highly detestable by God, because it arouses His jealousy (Exodus 34:14) and fury, which leads to very devastating consequences. The word "Idolatry" is very vast, as it encompasses all forms of worship with respect to things in heaven and on earth (Exodus 20:4) aside God, and the diversion of the glory meant for Him to things He created or things that were created through His creations.

The practice goes beyond paying obeisance to carved images, but also ascribing the honor, privileges, time, focus, trust and other exclusive rights of God to a cherished being or substance. This means that the value you attach to substances you cherish, if not properly weighed on a scale, might lead to idolatry. The resultant effect of idolatry has caused people to shift their focus from God, to worshiping things of a lesser nature.

However, in the world today, idolatry has taken many forms, with a growing concern in many quarters with respect to the way and manner believers reverence men and women of God. Sometimes, in a bit for believers to exhibit a high level of "humility" and respect for their preachers, they break the scale of moderation by reducing their value of son-ship through Christ, while clothing themselves with an appearance of slaves or mere beggars.

However, the failure by preachers to address this growing trend by either educating their members through the preaching of the gospel or open correction when the need arises, have left many in doubt about their sincerity, while some folks are of the notion that these preachers are just enjoying the show.

DO YOU THINK THAT PASTORS ARE ENCOURAGING IDOLATORY OR THE WAILERS ARE JUST OVER FLOGGING THE ISSUE?
